  MacBook Pro are very sensitive to the Ram being the correct specifications for the computer. Your computer is designed to use only the same characteristics for RAM Why would you think clock speed of 1 066 MHz RAM work in a 1600 MHz system?

  El Capitan is the only one to use, clean the shit of your Mac first and if you have less than 4G of Ram, increase to 4 or more

  Hello world.  So I just got the macbook pro 2012 and starts to do-it-yourself work last night.  I took out the optical drive, transferred the existing location HARD disk (w / caddy) and installed an SSD in its place.  Then I cloned the SSD HARD drive.  No problems so far.

  When I went to change the boot drive startup disk preferences is where I ran into a problem.  My original HARD drive is the only projection.  I had the problem in choosing the boot drive during the reboot (the SSD will appear in this menu) and makes it the default value it.  SSD works very well and is now my main boot drive.  However, I still would like to show in startup disk preferences.  Is it possible to do (preferably without erasing the SSD)?

  Relevant info - I'm running El Capitan and I used SuperDuper! to clone the HARD disk.

  OK, can I have found the problem.  Map of partition of the SSD has been MBR, no GUID.  I deleted it, reformatted and I am re-cloning it now.  I'll post the result (I hope that as a confirmed for another solution which meets with this).

  Try to forget the JPB on your iPod and turn off the Bluetooth on the iPad. . It is likely that it is trying to trick on your iPod, not your Mac.

  Also make sure that no other Bluetooth device is within reach.

  Try restarting mode without failure. To restart in safe mode, restart the computer and press on and hold down the SHIFT key until the Apple icon appears. The computer starts more slowly than usual because the disk utility checks the drive. After getting on the desktop launch the App store and try to connect.   If I understand your message, by updating your Mac you have forced stop, or you have closed the lid, and now it does not start.  To start, I suggest that try you to start in safe mode by following the instructions below.  For later use, it's a good idea to not force the computer to shut down or close the lid while it is up to date, because it can cause problems.

  1. Choose the Apple menu > shut down.

  2. After your Mac stops, wait 10 seconds, then press the power button.

  3. As soon as you hear the startup tone, hold down the SHIFT key.

     You must press the SHIFT key as soon as possible once you hear the startup tone, but not before.

  4. Release the SHIFT key when you see the gray Apple logo and progress indicator.

  To exit safe mode, restart your Mac, but no press during the startup.

  Apple batteries will be sold if Apple installs, NOT the user.  If you have a MBP, this is probably the best option because the batteries are pasted into the retina.  If you have a retina no MBP, look at the OWC site for NuPower batteries or search the Internet for brand batteries Anker.  Anything else can be 'high risk' in terms of quality.
