Instances of a button symbol

First of all, I created one in Florida HTML5 Canvas then, I created a button symbol.

Subsequently, I created 4 buttons frame 1 and 2 buttons in box 2. All these are instances of the same symbol button.

Here's my question: why are not the two buttons in the frame 2 declared/defined in the JS code obtained when I publish my FLA?

Try to put the buttons on a different layer in frame 2 and see if that helps.  I don't know if Animate has the same issues that has Flash but I suspect so since one is made from the other.   When you place the same symbols in adjacent frames they essentially become the same symbol - even if you name it differently the second will take on the properties of the first, including the name.

    Ah, the 'this' in a symobl of button refers to the timeline that the button is,
    not the chronology of the button itself... You must use movieClips as
    buttons and not the button symbols.

    I don't know how to create an overview of the button symbol.

    I don't know how to make this overview of the reusable button symbol. I would put 100 different images to 100 copies of the button. I prefer not to new symbols for each button, since the rollover animation can change.

    I guess that your button symbol has a div with an image. try using:

    sym.getSymbol('button').$('imagedivname').css ({}

    If you're talking about the replacement of one symbol by another of the library, which is limited to one symbol at a time.  But you can extend this functionality using JSFL.  Here is a link to a tool that might work for you...

    If you have a thousand things to change, you can review your design uses a dynamic approach, except the investment items must be managed manually defined specific locations.   In this way, you can simply change the link between the symbol and the programming will take care of the rest.

    This isn't code as3.  in as3, this would be:

    I'm prototyping bee my last several websites in Fireworks in front of her a coding in Dreamweaver. I see two ways to accomplish the same thing and wonder if there is any advantage to one or if it's just a user preference of how to do it.

    When you create a single roll on it seems that this can be done in 2 ways:

    (1) create a slice around the image, and then, in the range, select creatte a behavior simple reversal.

    (2) convert the image into a button symbol and then change the symbol to add more force.

    Both are simple ways to do so. There their advantage to one or the other?

    Fireworks is more powerful, while many think. Not always the best code bit large layout and comping tool!. While you work more with web pages, you can learn how to make CSS based menus in Dreamweaver :-)

  • Switch between the two button symbols

    I'm new to AS, but not new to programming.  I'm using Flash CS4.  Here's what I'm trying to do.

    I have two button symbols, PlayBTN and PauseBTN. They are used to control the playback of the slideshow. When I use one or the other to control the slide show, it works. However, what I want to do is to switch between the two buttons, so that they work together like this:

    1. If the slide show is playing, PauseBTN is visible. If PauseBTN is clicked, stops slideshow and PlayBTN becomes visible.

    2. If the slideshow is paused, PlayBTN is visible. If PlayBTN is clicked, stops slideshow and PauseBTN becomes visible.

    In other words, clicking on the button control not only the slideshow, but changes which button is visible.

    I got this working with a video clip of two frames and bitmaps in static, but when I swap the bitmaps for the buttons, rollovers button stop working.

    Can someone give me some advice please?

    This is not a flexible configuration.  PauseBtn should be a movieclip with a up more and eventually to the bottom of chassis and PlayBtn either a movieclip with a up more and eventually to the bottom of the frame.  You can then use:

    PauseBtn._visible = true;  or false ot visible property of your control button.

    Create a new layer inside the button Edit mode, create keyframes for the States (above, upwards or downwards) and add text to your icon (e.g.. below).

  • Double Instance of one button

    Hi guys I have a structure of the event which handles both cases, one of them is to write some external hardware and the other is to read.

    There are 2 methods of reading and writing to this part through his Volatile and Non Volatile memory.

    To choose between these two functions, I placed a switch of control outside the structure of the event, each event 'read' and 'write' need instant access to this control.

    When I place the switch outside of the event structure is of course not read immediately in the event but delayed a bit due to the connector on the border of the structure.

    Yes. Use a local variable of the front panel control in the other case of the event. Right-click on the control and select Create--> the local Variable.

    One of the few times that a local variable has merit.

    OK, what I have is as follows.

    A symbol named ButtonStage

    Within this symbol, there are 4 buttons.

    Try to hide your other buttons on the click using the. hide(); :

    in your global function tell him rather than break the link:

    sym.getComposition () .getStage ().getSymbol("ButtonStage") .getSymbol ("ButtonOne") () .hide;

    Although it may be better to put this in your code instead of the compositionReady click, unless the code needs to be accessible by something else using your global function.

  • Subform Instance controls: Add button

    Hello

    I have a subform that I want to continue to repeat when the user clicks the Add button. I would like the minimum is 0 and when the user clicks the button it will bring up in the first instance. The problem is that it is not allowing me to have a minimum of 0, only 1. If I change it to 0 then the subform does not appear when you click the Add button.

    Also, I get an error message when you click the Add button. It says "Date of birth: date of birth must be entered. the message about 5 times. I did the date of the birth of the 'optional' subform field as it was previously required, and I have confirmed that there is no other script causing the problem, if im not sure why it does not work.

    I would be very happy any help that is available.

    Another approach:

    1. Kee least the instance as 1, but hide the 1st row.

    2. to the clickin the Add button, add a new instance and set the property to the presence of "visible".

    newRow = Table1._Row1.addInstance var (1);

    newRow.presence = "visible".

  • Instances of formatting buttons

    I create my first buttons in fireworks. I need to create some who have multiple lines and some, like home' who have a single word. When I edit a clone of the original symbol, I can change the text of this button, but is not correctly aligned due to the number of different words. I tried from a button with a single word and cloning away and vice versa, but whatever it is, I can't have the words to align to the right. There must be a way to do this, but I can't understand it. Anyone know how?
