Incorporation of Youtube video

I want to integrate a youtube video on my web site. The code as it appears on the youtube site is:

" < object width ="445"height ="364"> < param name ="movie"value =" http://www.YouTube.com/v/AIHP3gYcV-I & hl = en_US & FS = 1 & rel = 0 & Border = 1 "> < / param > < param name ="allowFullScreen"value ="true"> < / param > < param name ="allowscriptaccess"value ="always"> < / param > < embed src = ' http://www.YouTube.com/v/AIHP3gYcV-I & hl = en_US & FS = 1 & rel = 0 & Border = 1 "type =" application/x-shockwave-flash"allowscriptaccess ="always"allowfullscreen ="true"width ="445"height ="364"> < / embed > < / object > "

I inserted this code on my page, and when I open the page in Dreamweaver CS3, I get a message "this page contains object tags that may not work properly in the latest versions of internet explore.» To correct this problem, you can convert these browsers scripts tags. Want you want Dreamweaver to convert these tags for you?

If I say YES, the code becomes:
< script type = "text/javascript" >
AC_AX_RunContent ('width', ' 280 ', 'height', '234',' src','http://www.youtube.com/v/AIHP3gYcV-I & hl = in & fs = 1 & rel = 0 & color1 = 0x3a3a3a & color2 = 0 x 999999 & edge St = 1', 'type', ' application/x-shockwave-flash', 'allowscriptaccess', 'always', 'allowfullscreen', 'true', 'film','http://www.youtube.com/v/AIHP3gYcV-I & hl = en & fs = 1 & rel = 0 & color1 = 0x3a3a3a & co lor2 = 0 x 999999 & border = 1'); //end AC code
< /script > < noscript > < object width = "280" height = "234" >
" < param name ="movie"value =" http://www.youtube.com/v/AIHP3gYcV-I & hl = in & fs = 1 & rel = 0 & color1 = 0x3a3a3a & color2 = 0 x 999999 & edge St = 1 "> < / param > < param name ="allowFullScreen"value ="true"> < / param > < param name ="allowscriptaccess"value ="always"> < / param > < embed src = ' http://www.youtube.com/v/AIHP3gYcV-I & hl = in & fs = 1 & rel = 0 & color1 = 0x3a3a3a & color2 = 0 x 999999 & edge St = 1 "type =" application/x-shockwave-flash"allowscriptaccess ="always"allowfullscreen ="true"width ="280"height ="234"> < / embed > < / object > < / noscript > "

If I say YES or NO, I can see the videos with Firefox, but I can't see the videos on the page with Internet Explorer.

Can someone help me solve this problem.

Thank you all

You don't need ActiveX JavaScript to play videos from YouTube.  Simply paste the YouTube code directly in DW.  Or if you want your code validated, first run your code YouTube with this code validifyer online.

http://validifier.com/

Next time, let not DW do something for your YouTube code.

You can copy & paste this table into your page. It's valid Code and it works in FF, IE and Safari/Chrome.

  • Integration of youtube videos

I am currently building an html5 for BB10 with jquery application. I have an old processor intel from my pc that does not support virtualization technology to run the BB10 Dev Alpha device simulation.

So I don't know if a video from youtube directly integrated in a Web page (with the embed code directly from youtube) into the application will work or not. Can anyone confirm that?

    Thank you

It's ok, YouTube videos will get incorporated properly, make sure you use the right width for the video, then the player out of the screen and breaks the layout.

I suggest you to take a look at the ripple for a specific semi 'simulation '.

  • Set up vimeo or youtube video in interactive PDF InDesign CC

    Hello!

I've read several articles about it but can't find a way to solve this problem:

, I have created an interactive PDF using InDesign CC and I would like to embed vimeo and youtube videos to play directly in the file. When I insert the URL does not work because it starts by https:// (not http://). Deletion of obviously the doe "s" does not solve the problem because he says it's not compatible with Flash Player.

Is there anyway that I can fix this?

I decided to create an interactive PDF only because I wanted to be able to integrate online videos!

You can not. Several years ago YouTube was a Flash API for direct playback of video integrated inside a SWF file of parent (the only way to do it in a PDF file), but it also allowed the population to ignore advertising, so they we closed. The current API only supports the incorporation of HTML for web pages.

The URL 'embed' to sites like YouTube and Vimeo is a link to their web page, not the video file itself (legally you can't link directly to the video stream so I will not explain how it could be done). Acrobat video player will not accept a URL that points to the video file or a stream RTMP connector, that's why the URL must end with a valid extension like ".mp4."

    The only options are:

    1. Stir all of the video file in the PDF - assuming you have a copy, and have the right to publish it. Easier to do, but the size of the file can be a problem.
    2. Host the video file on your own website and put the HTTP link in the annotation dialog box (simple but anyone can download a copy, is not safe).
    3. Listen to the file using Adobe Media Server (course but very expensive).
  • How can I get embedded HTML (a youtube video) to show that behind a pinned object?

I have my header pinned at the top of the window. When I put my youtube video on the HTML page incorporated and scroll down the page, the video goes over the header objects. I tried to place it in a 2nd layer but that did not work. Help?

Make sure the layer on the video is "sent back".

  • After the last update of Firefox, youtube videos do not play. The answers I've found are not relevant or too complicated.

After the last update of Firefox, youtube videos do not play. The answers I've found are not relevant or too complicated.

Hi Cbella, YouTube is generally used with an HTML5 player, who is a player who does not use a plugin video in MP4 format (for example, it does not use the Flash plugin).

Now, I based this assertion on Windows, Mac may vary.

Could you do two tests for me?

    Test #1:

To verify which player you see (which does work), try a right click or Ctrl + click on the YouTube Player and check the "context menu" that rises. If it's the Flash, there will be a menu short, referring to the Flash on the last line. If you do not see that, if you get a regular menu of Firefox, it's probably the HTML5 player.

    Are what player you?

    Test #2:

If you open the following test page, which videos to play?

    http://www.quirksmode.org/HTML5/tests/video.html

    • The video "H.264/MP4" play?
    • The video "WebM" play?

    Thank you.

Also, you can check if your Flash plugin is up to date? You can use the site Mozilla Plugin check for this (please ignore the other plug-ins page wants you to update at the moment avoid making the situation more complicated):

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

    • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

You will need to close and restart Firefox after enabling/disabling this setting.

You can check if there is an update for your display driver graphic card and search for hardware acceleration of related issues.

  • Firefox crashes during playback of YouTube videos

This just started here yesterday. Whenever I go to play a video on YouTube, the whole program will freeze and crash twice for about a minute each time. This only happens on YouTube. No other Web site that plays videos has this problem. In addition, this only happens on Firefox, my default browser. No other browser installed on my PC has this problem. This problem also occurs when the page tries to load the comments on a YouTube video.

I tried to reinstall the Flash player and the Firefox. I turned off hardware acceleration on Firefox and the Flash Player. I disabled the Safe_mode in the Shockwave Plugin. I tried to open Firefox in Mode without failure. YouTube plays in HTML5 by default. Everyone knows about this problem? There must be a way to solve this problem.

Well I discovered that I can solve the problem by LOGGING in TO MY YOUTUBE ACCOUNT. I'll have words with the people at Google.

  • Whenever I play youtube videos, they shake from left to right and to go at different speeds.

I have windows 7. A couple of days, I went to play youtube videos and they all shake from left to right and go at different speeds (very erratic). This ONLY happens with videos from youtube (HTML5). When I play other videos(non-HTML5), they play very well. Also, the sound on youtube videos are fine, only they do not match the mouth (s) of people talking. The mouth move faster. I've checked all my plug-ins and everything is up-to-date. My firefox browser is also the last version. I did a malwarebytes scan and it came up with nothing. All the settings on the youtube videos are also where they should be. It happened for about 5 days. Can someone help me?

Thanks Guigs. I followed your instructions and found out it was a 'acceleration hardware problem' that was the origin of the problem. I unchecked the box and YouTube videos play very well! Thank you for taking the time to help me.
