Integration of campaign - ELQ vs SFDC

I'm on the E10, faced with the integration of the campaign...

Here's the process I plan:

1 / campaign is created in Eloqua

2 / campaign is pushed to SFDC with the "internal campaign ID".

3 / the campaign updated in SFDC get pulled back in Eloqua, update the existing with the "internal campaign ID".

Point 1 / and 2 / work perfectly.

Point 3 / seems very delicate...

Look at the answers on Topliners and support portal, I found this:

Mapping of the Eloqua campaign campaign SFDC

the last comment by contains this process:

You will need to do a manual one-time update of the SFDC campaign ID in the field «External campaign ID» Eloqua

So my question is:

Is it necessary to do a manual update of the 'external campaign ID? I could use the "internal campaign ID? And how?

Thank you

This step is necessary. If the campaigns have already been created in Eloqua and SFDC, then there is no inherent link between them and without codes or system will know who advocates for update. However, you just do it once, following the other steps in the linked post go to that each time that you create a campaign in Eloqua, a campaign will be automatically created in SFDC and the generated ID synchronized to the rear. It is important to note that you should never work with Eloqua campaign until the ID returned from the integration, as the ID will not update in your browsing session if you have open countryside and you could end up saving your campaign and crush the returned ID (break integration until you go and enter manually).

The internal campaign ID Eloqua is not relevant to the integration of the CRM. It does nothing outside of the Eloqua application and cannot be used as one of the sync fields.

  • Switch the SFDC ID campaign to dynamically query string?

    Hello

I have a few campaigns created and I want to spend the SFDC ID campaign in a landing page query string URL in an attached email.

I want to pass campaign SFDC ID dynamically, as if I chose send email step and added an email campaign. I sfdc campaign id and for each campaign, I don't want to hard-code the value. Just like field merges I want to fill the value in the URL.

    Is it possible anyway.

    Thank you

    Dardare

Dardare, try adding this string as a query string parameter in your emails.

This box works if the Eloqua campaign has the ID of CRM campaign settled in campaign settings. See also: complete list of Default merge fields?

  • Award of the campaign for occasions

Looking to get an idea about the way that others are standardizing on a campaign attribution model in their organizations.

Remove the matter from the equation systems (SFDC / ELQ / BI, etc.) -from the point of view of pure logic, how campaigns would receive budget allocation to the possibilities?

First and last campaign? Split evenly across all campaigns? Only in the country that created the initiative that has been converted to a PPO?

If we consider a sales cycle complex over a long period of time is 8 months - makes more sense?

Gets a little harder when we think through the application of allocation of Inbound Marketing efforts. Can we treat the incoming items i.e. social, generic site Web, SEO, etc. as the campaigns who answer rules, assignment models, etc.?

Understand these loaded questions, looking for some thoughts and assistance are

    See you soon.

    Ryan

Thank you Jen and David - great thoughts!

I finished a draft of model today that I would be interested to receive feedback. What I modeled is based on the fact that in a perspective of opportunity pipeline, campaigns drive pipe in one of three ways:
    (1) they SOURCE initially the prospect either convert unknown profile user known as Manager.
    (2) they have driven CONVERSION of lead for the occasion.
    (3) they ACCELERATE and ability to close.

In this context, I have the team by creating a new dashboard to campaign within the SFDC, which has three funnels for the attribution of opportunity $$; a funnel of origin, converted to funnel and accelerated the funnel. The aggregation of these funnels refers to the assignment of pipeline for a campaign.

    A key business logic is:
    (a) attribution to the SOURCE of the one campaign deteriorating - as it is cleared once the lead/opp went on the average timeline sales cycle.
    (b) award of the campaign converted never changes: it is "point in time".
    (c) allocation of acceleration is the last campaign on the opp before closing.

My plan is to complete these elements of assignment with other metric of campaign - although I'm still working on that part, so thoughts are appreciated.

  • Campaign: 'add to program' c. 'move to program.

I have a very simple campaign - send an email to an audience, and then add the contacts that have been sent to SFDC. My question is whether to use the action "Add program" or the "move to program" campaign to update SFDC program. I guess that's a pretty basic question, so a pointer to a discussion on the differences between the two actions would be useful for me.

    Hi Peter,.

You'll want to use the "Move to Program" action to transfer the Contact record in your CRM up-to-date program.

Move/add to the campaign could be used to still feed (another campaign on the Web of campaign) and Move/add to the program for the management of data (a program Builder program), such as the cloud connectors, a lead scoring Program, program updates to CRM, etc.

Move removes the Contact between them and this campaign in the other campaign/program. Add maintains Contact in this campaign and between them in the other campaign/program.

    Hope that helps!

  • Checking the logs, error, transactional logs logs

    Hello-

I was wondering if Eloqua has Audit logs, logs errors or transactional to show newspapers if information is captured by Eloqua, or if an error occurs somewhere behind the scenes.

Going through the manual, I am only to find references in the log files as part of the add-on of HIPAA.

Are there logs without the Add on HIPAA and they easily accessible?

    Thank you

    Doug

    Hi Doug -.

There are a few different types of newspapers, that you can find in Eloqua:

To access each, you will need the correct credentials (usually the customer administrator) and will find them inside the Configuration tab:

    1. connection of the user history.

This is located under the users

And the tab inside users dashboards

The dashboard looks like this, you can access the raw data in the button of "additional reports:

This is a very old style scoreboard E9 and cannot be found inside the preview.

    2. errors and history of CRM integration

It is located in the database of the administrative menu section, and more particularly in the integration:

Your integration to different RCMS that SFDC and can display different names as the picture below, but the statement is located at a few places here:

If you point to each of the following areas (waiting for update, update complete, updated failed, with success of the imported records) you will get the menus that look like the image below and you can click on them to view a specific report on integration:

There is also a button seen above you can click to review additional reports:

Similar to the dashboard above, these are not available in Insight.

    3. download history

Within the area of integration (as shown above) you can access the data on downloads and file transfers, click "Incoming" - it will open something that looks like the image below and in the reports tab, you can find additional reports on data in the system.

    4 marketing Operations Center

The other place, you can find more information is the center of Marketing operations, it can be found after the path in the image below:

It is more operational data, but may be some of you looking for example how it looks:

  • SFDC campaign creation

    Hello

Is it possible to have a campaign created in Salesforce that synchronizes in Eloqua and creates a real campaign (empty) canvas of Eloqua campaign?

Is this something that can be done through the autosyncs?

    Thank you

    EDINA

Altogether.  You can create an automatic synchronization in the CRM application integration area.  If you configure synchronization to import campaigns, it will create empty canvases in Eloqua with values of field than the corresponding SFDC campaigns.

  • Campaign + SFDC campaign creation Question

    Hey everybody,

I'm pretty new on the side of integration Eloqua/SFDC of things. How can I configure it so that it creates a Salesforce campaign at the same time I have to create/save an Eloqua campaign, then the tool as SFDC campaign ID in the field ID of CRM campaign again?

Thanks in advance for any help!

    Colby

You must go into the settings and make sure to check the option "Synch with CRM:

Next, you need to hit 'Save' and walk to allow time to feed.

This is an excerpt from the class of the basic principles of the Web of campaign:

  • Member of SFDC Eloqua campaign campaign

Y at - there a way to add the members of a campaign SFDC Eloqua campaign on a regular automatic mode. Basically you can synchronize members of campaigns between SFDC and Eloqua.

We have all of our data flowing in SFDC in Drupal. We want to be able to add people registered for an event or downloaded some materials to the campaigns in Eloqua, so we can make our education. Since the data is all there in SFDC is it possible automatically add these people in campaigns in Eloqua?

    Hi Kyle

Personally, I agree that it is better to re - route your data for submission of form directly at ELQ.  This way you'll not only get the association campaign, but you can also use the activity of the form for lead scoring.

We went through this same process just before Christmas with our Joomla CMS and found quick and easy to perform.

Discover this information sheet to make sure that you get your CLR set up right.  Sharing of a single through multiple campaigns in Eloqua10 form

    I hope this helps.

  • See members from campaigning in SFDC

    Hi all

I need to be able to build segments "If a person is a member of a SFDC campaign" or not. I built an external call, "Campaigning members", who has worked... but sync is that the Member of the campaign if they have a contact in SFDC... not leads. Any ideas on how to resolve my external appeal? Thank you!

    Adam

    Hey Adam,.

Control you which object you bring to the wire (wire or contact) by the field that you use to map to your contact in Eloqua for the data card game. What I mean by that is if your data card placed the email field to map your data to your Eloqua contact card, then the object that you have mapped to your e-mail domain will be the object, it draws from. If you use the campaign member object as your initial synchronization you have taken from the e-mail address of the contact object associated with the Member of the campaign and not the main object.

I worked on this a few months back, and the only solution I could come, which does not require regular handling, was to create an identical synchronization. A synchronization pulls email from the head and the other contact. However, two synchronizations to update the same data card game.

Depending on your use case however it might be possible to create a SFDC formula field that would lead or contact email address on the campaign member and then use it as the single field.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Best,

    Jason

  • Does anyone has created integration with MSCRM for the opening of the campaign?

I had stock in MSCRM (selling Stadium/qualification selection) which take place in a sales representative trigger entry into stage mid or end campaign Eloqua.  Does anyone do this?

    Hello Marilyn,.

I double checked with our technical team and our cloud connectors Eloqua-MSCRM (part of 4Bridge) will allow you to update Stadium sales or rating you want (like many other things).  These cloud connectors can be run both in a Web of campaign or a Builder program.  Some customers have used in education campaigns to create activities for representatives which is somewhat similar to your goal teensy.

We have a variety of cloud in our category Microsoft CRM connectors a few of them are: Create Contact / Create lead / create account / create campaign response / update lead / Update Contact / create task.
Through the 4Bridge it possible to connect to Eloqua LCO, Contacts, accounts, etc.

Note that we now have the dynamic integration of 4Bridge working for MSCRM 2013 premises and MSCRM On-Demand.

  • Is the only way to add members of the Eloqua campaign to the corresponding campaign in SFDC by submitting a form?

Is the only way to add members of the Eloqua campaign to the corresponding campaign in SFDC by submitting a form? We want everyone in the segment to be considered members of the campaign in SFDC, regardless of whether or not they respond. These numbers allows us to look within SFDC campaign conversion rates. How can I make sure that all the contacts in my area of campaign are added to the SFDC campaign?

    Hi Alison,.

As an alternative to the approach of Ineke, you can also use a rule to update within the program Builder to set a value for the fields of your last CFDS campaign ID/name/status and other data updates that you can preform associated with this campaign, and then send it through your CRM up-to-date program.  In my campaigns, I add a step 'Add to program Builder' before sending an email.  It works really well.

  • How to set the rules of campaign for SFDC response

    Hello

using E10, could someone explain what to do the last two columns in the default rules for campaign response

average dialog when you use SFDC your CRM Sales?

If I check the box "Salesforce replied" example for both outgoing emails sent AND response form submit,.

What is the implication of this? Is there an involvement with Eloqua, SFDC, or both? What happens if I leave the box unchecked?

And activity which answer should I check the radio 'Salesforce default' button?

    topliner_def_camp_ruleQ.png

Couldn't really find any explanation to this form of documentation available...

    WBR,

    -tatu

In fact, I found a bit of an answer to my own question of the SFDC UI, where you camodest the associated campaign of the advanced settings.

    He said

On this page, set up the governing statutes of campaign members of campaign who has responded or not to trace:

    • Enter the articles desired as "Participant" or "sent".
    • Set a default value for the list of choices.
    • For the statuses you want to count in the field of responses #, mark responded. Warning: Edit this box has broad effects. When you change, these fields Member change accordingly: responded, last Date answered and dern.

So I quess the Salesforce replied box the picture is exactly the same as in the INTERFACE of SF. The same applies by default.

  • Record of training, custom objects, cloud connectors and integration of the SFDC - how to make it work?

I am trying to determine how best to implement our new system of registration of training with Eloqua. Here's our scenario:

    • Registration form on our website and when completed will be repost to Eloqua (this part is easy)
    • In the steps of treatment, I send registration to GoTo Webinar - via form - tools running a connector Cloud via form processing step (simple enough and I've done it before).
    • Submit also form I send contact to our update CRM program and they have added to the correct campaign in Salesforce based on a hidden field on the ID of the last campaign SFDC.
    • Once the recording is finished in GoTo, it sends the registration information an object custom in Eloqua, including the unique URL GoTo that people will need.

The part I'm having a problem with, is how to make this unique URL of GoTo in Salesforce? The email address will not be the unique ID since people can enroll in more than one class.

    Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Hey Rochelle Chan. We do this at ReadyTalk and we mirror the datacard in Eloqua with SFDC campaign member record.

    1. use datacard services that will send the data card in a program (more on that later) the trigger, modified or created.

    2. build an external call that writes the data card information more in Member of campaign record.

Voila. I'd be happy to give more details if necessary.

  • With the help of Cloud Connector to replace the native integration of SFDC of Eloqua

I was discussing an idea today and I want to run it by the community here to get feedback and validation.

We have a customer wants to integrate their instance Eloqua with a CRM unsupported by Eloqua.

The customer likes the idea and the logic of the program generator and copy the programs that come by default with any which Eloqua instance for integration with SFDC.

The clinet will build a service bus to manage the integration between their CRM and Eloqua.

The question here is can the stages of the program changed to call their internal service bus using the cloud connector (ExternalService) instead of calling the natives calls SFDC integration event?

I assume here they will build different methods in their bus server to manage create leads and contacts and update leads and contacts similar to event integration calls.

Also here I'm not talking about the auto-synch functionlaity I just need to check out this concept and see if anyone already implmeneted before or not.

Also, if anyone has problems with it let me know I would like to cover all the bases before going with this idea.

I think that theoretically it should work without any problems and it is a big plus to take advantage of the use of the program generator to control the flow of the integration logic.

    Kind regards

    Nader

    The question you ask is:

Can I use generator program and custom integrations to CRM cloud connectors.  Effectively, you need to replace the native integration API steps with no cloud to your program/middleware.

The quick answer is Yes.   The thing to know is the number of steps (API has a limit of simultaneous connection 5 hard) and the number of API calls.   You would like to make an analysis of the frequency and volume of lead and contact updates to CRM in order to determine whether it is the right solution.  Based on the frequency and the volume you need business logic to live outside of Eloqua.  Using a middleware like Informatica product allows to build it in a workflow environment and you allows to exploit the DTS WSDL (E9) allows a high volume of documents.

    Cheers, Aaron.
