HP 15 - ac 116 tx: noise speakers and sound crackling headphones

Hello

Since last week, there is a static sound from speakers of my laptop, music. But when I am on the headphones, there is no static noise. The noise is a little too, when songs with buzzing sounds play.

My laptop is 10 months old and all my drivers are up to date. The problem persists, every time, when the laptop plugged in and when it's on battery power. Please help me as soon as possible...:)

Switching to Microsoft HD audio driver helped... My laptop works fine now... :))

I have UN-plugged my speakers and replaced by headphones. Noise if the headphoens is fine. I now want to put the spekares back in, but there is no sound at all. Can anyone help?

So they are pregnant Dell with standard 3.5 mm USB powered plug (* and even the green port plug in as shown in the picture)?

Therefore, the USB plugged into the port in the back of the computer for power to the speakers?  Try a different USB port - just to see if the chosen one does not provide the necessary power.

Make sure that the speakers are turned on and the volume is turned all the top (to the right).

Make sure that the sound output is not cut on your computer (plug in the headphones to check what you mean by them.

Plug the 3.5 mm of the speaker to the green port on the computer (see photo above.)

If you don't hear sound... Unplug the plug 3.5 mm and touch something metal - static electricity?  The speakers become power at all?

  • AT300-100 - speakers and sound problem

    Hello.

I bought a Tablet AT300-100 and have problems with the speakers and the sound. I noticed other people online with similar problems.

    Here are the problems:

-The speakers stop working, and the Tablet needs to be restarted for that stakeholders to work again.
-The noise increases abruptly volume for a few seconds, then returns to the normal volume.
-It has no sound when I get a PIN on the lock screen, even if the is set to turn the sound on the lock screen.

I wonder if this is a bug in the operating system rather than a problem with the hardware of the speaker.
The operating system is up-to-date. Problems continue regardless of the sound settings.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you.

    > I wonder if this is a bug in the operating system rather than a speaker hardware problem

By default, the system Android back and try it again
Usually, if it would be a software related issue, the sound should work correctly after the reset to default settings.

    > If there is a bug in the operating system affecting the speakers, a reset may not work.

Well, in this case, that you should get in touch with the service of Toshiba to get it checked

  • poping and sound crackling with HP ENVY 15 t-j000 Quad Edition Notebook computer Touchsmart

    Hello

I just got my laptop last week and whenever I listen to music or video, there will be sound poping appears from time to time and it is really annoying. I did a lot of research, but it did not help.

any help would be much appreciated

    Hello

I think I found the problem. It is because of the software audio beats. I tried to turn it off, and all sounds jerking went. I have also connected my laptop to other speakers and play with audio on beats, creaking came back. When I turned it off, there is more no jerky sounds, so now I'm sure it's not because of the material in my laptop, but rather the software audio beats

However, I know that it is just a temporary solution. Think someone can help me?

  • Mini 300-050np Pavilion: helmet, always considered as speakers and sound distortions. Where can we change that?

    Hello

I currently get my Pavilion Mini hooked to a set of headphones Sennheiser wireless and, while I wait for my new speakers, I use the TV speakers that I use as a PC monitor.

My problem is that on sounds defenitions, there no option to pass a pair of stereo speakers for headphones. The sound is distorted on the low frequencies and I think it has to do with her think that it deals with expernal speakers. I found once taking Realtek Control Panel, but I can't find it now. Don't do me no good when I did as she also would not allow me to tell him that the thing about the Jack conneceted 3.5 are headphones.

I also have a 'DTS Audio Control Panel' on my tool bar (the thing on the right with the clock button, etc.). I don't know what it is or where it comes from. Is this a HP or Microsoft software?

Oh, and before ask you... records are up to date on the HP Web page.

    Thank you!

OK, so to close this debate and for later use.

-Turn down the volume on the PC.

-Change the speakers via the DTS audio Panel (it of one thing to HP and seems to replace the windows volume mixer but not vice versa.

-In speaker properties, output quality seems to want to stay in the middle of quality regarding. Put in high quality you can.

  • Satellite L650 speakers and sound output stopped working

    Hello

The sound in my L650 just stopped working all of a sudden. It was ok and then nothing.

When connecting to the headphones, I can't hear a sound of crackling, that maintains the same volume regardless of the volume of system being 100% or mute.
I don't have any other way to test audio output (no cables hdmi or USB speakers).

Nothing has been installed recently. The drivers are up to date. Reboot didn't solve it. Uninstallation and reinstallation of its controller either.

Everything looks fine on the part of the treatment (equalizer and its move from bars).

If something got physically loose/disconnected/broken inside?

    See you soon

    > I just put in the backpack and was moving, now it works again

  • Vibrating and sound crackles on Satellite L30 PSL33E

Help, please. I have the laptop above, and the sound is driving me crazy, whenever I try to play music distortion, vibrating and cracking which makes it completely ruins the pleasure to try to listen to music, it seems worse, when the hard drive light flashes quickly.

The noise problem is not only limited to play music, the sounds of windows system is just as bad.

Also is it supposed to be this intermitant "whoosing" sound like waves on a shoreline of sea from the region of cooling fan?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

I m an owner of the Satellite L30 with Vista. It s my second notebook.
I can listen to my mp3 without any problems! Everything works beautifully.
The laptop is a little slower with Vista, but it's ok.

One question; Have you noticed the same audio issues if you are playing an audio CD?
It would be very interesting to know if the sound is bad if you listen to mp3 files stored on the HARD drive.

Did you check the sound options? In the control panel in Vista, you should find the Realtek HD audio manager.
It s also installed on my laptop.
Here, you can set the different sound effects, speaker setup and the default format.

    I would recommend this review!

No sound through speakers. No sound of Blurays / DVDs. DVD reading slow and erratic. Sound will play with some videos, both on the hard drive and online. Sounds Windows play in the headphones. I did a scan of root of Avast Antivirus and PC Cillin Housecall. Not found any viruses.

Download & save the last Audio driver. Go into the Control Panel, programs & features - software uninstall IDT. Reboot the laptop. After loading Windows, install IDT audio by using the downloaded file.

  • Pavilion dv6: new headphones, but some emissions are transmitting sound through speakers and headphones.

    Spoiler (Highlight to read)
    Hello
    Hello

I recently bought a new headphones for the game but had some problems with it and the sound system. A major problem is when I have someone call on Skype, the Skype sound or the call will go through the headphones, but on the other audio from the speakers. I also agree that also what iTunes does not work when I am in a call as well. Some examples would be that if I want to watch a YouTube video during a call, noise would come by the speakers and not the headphones. However, I found a solution for this. All I had to do was turn off the main speakers and the audio was transmitted to the headphones. Another example would be that if I want to run the games through Steam (Garry Mod, TF2, ect.), I get no sound in the game. Not through my speakers or headphones. With one exception, volume of Garry Mod, I can hear through the speakers so that in a Skype call, but I want the sound to come through the headphones. But with TF2, I have no sound whatsoever. If you need more information about me, feel free to ask. Thank you.

  • No sound from speakers and headphones, maybe not its output?

At least two weeks now, I tried to find a solution to my windows xp computer after having no sound. I don't think it's my codecs, drivers or the speakers that I have recently reinstalled my drivers and codecs and it may not be my speakers because I use headphones anyway. I used the utility of windows troubleshooting and solving audio problems. I used 13 common sound problems and they and it still does not work.

    Solution

The problem solved with a reset of the full power of the laptop.

Stop and remove the battery, probably outside during the night.

Connect the backup battery, turn on the laptop and and you should not get the noise as usual.

  • Try to use the speakers and headphones

    • I have a Durabrand 5.1 speaker system and normal headphones with microphone included. The speakers plug in a headphone and headset (of course). I'm trying to figure out how make my computer recognize them both at the same time. Until my recent updates I could disable my speaker and sound was still coming through the headset but either headphones now have no audio or the speakers do not have. Realtek Hd Manager doesn't seem to like them both at the same time. At the same time I didn't need the microphone turned on the headset due to having a Logitech cam with a. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Xerosk,

First try to run the Audio troubleshooter built into Windows 7 and check if it can find any question and fix. Access the link below and follow the steps to run the Audio troubleshooter in Windows 7.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-playing-audio-Troubleshooter

Also, make sure that the default sound device is set correctly for the audio device you are using. To set the default device, follow these steps:

    a. click on, and then type Sound in the box to start the search.

    b. click sound in the search at the top of the beginning menu.c results. Click the reading notice the check mark next to the default device. For most users, the default device is speakers. Make sure that the audio settings are configured as expected.

    Follow these steps:

    d. on the Read tab, select the playback device, click Properties, click the Advanced tab and make sure that the default Format is set to the value you expect. When you are finished, close this window to return to the previous window.

    e. on the Read tab, select the playback device, click on configure and make sure that the configurations are set correctly.

f.Select the audio device you want as the default audio device and then click on set as default.

    g. click OK to save your settings and close the sound dialog box.

Determine if you can now hear. If you can hear the noise, the problem is resolved.

Also try to update the audio drivers supplied by Device Manager and check if it helps. You can access the link below and follow the steps to update the drivers on your computer.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work correctly

You can also contact relatek and check if you need to make changes in the settings in Realtek HD manager for the device to work.

I hope this helps. Let us know the result.

  • Pavilion Notebook 17-G012NA: Audio uses the laptop speakers and not a paired devices

I have two devices paired bluetooth connected to my computer laptop, but audio still plays through the built-in speakers of Realtek.

The device is introduced, my laptop confirms its she paired up and I do not see in the circles where I'm wrong.

There is no problem with the associated devices because they work brilliantly with my phone and turntable.

    Everyone knows this?

    Thank you

    Hello @RG99,

Welcome to the HP Support Forum's community!

I understand your message that your Pavilion laptop - 17-g012na will only play audio through the built-in speakers and not the Bluetooth devices are paired.

These speakers have worked in the past with this laptop? Have you verified that your system is up-to-date available throughout drivers and software?

Microsoft has a background paper on connecting devices Bluetooth here and also a document of difficulty connections Bluetooth.

I know from personal experience that some Bluetooth speakers and other devices, even when it is associated with, should click you on them to connect before it will actually start communicating with the PC.

Please let me know how it goes. If this helps you to find a solution, please click on the button accept as Solution down below in this message.

    Thank you!
