  • Updated some graphics on my A60 card?

    Hello

I had an embedded graphic A60 ATI Raedon 7000 memory shared for more than a year and have had continuous problems with crashing. I think I have (at least temporarally) solved this problem by reducing the colors to 16 m...

I now use some more intensive graphics programs (games) and wonder if anyone can suggest a way of doing things as "Age of Empires III" work faster than 1 images / second (apart from buying a desktop computer)?

I wouldn't mind upgrading the graphics on a map chip if it's possible, but any suggestions would be appreciated!

    Thank you very much

    Paul.

    Hello

Daniel is right. It s not possible to update the graphics cards for laptop computer.
Laptop technology is very delicate and you can compare t he know the desktop PC.
By the way: The Age of Empires 3 is new game and there to play you need a high performance pc and a graphics card with good cooling system

  • Is the XFX HD 7850 a good graphics card for the desktop HP-P7-1534.

I just got this computer in office during the summer because everyone said it would be a cheap system for games. I love this desktop computer, but there are a few games I would like to very smooth running as 4 Battlefield and Call of Duty: ghosts. I was just wondering if the graphics card XFX HD 7850 would meet my needs. I also intend to buy a new corsair 750W power supply for the graphics card would work.

    Jobro94, welcome to the forum.

Yes, the HD 7850 should work correctly.  If, however, you decide to take the Double (2 fans), you should get the measurements and make a cardboard template to ensure that it fits properly.  It is 9.5 "long and has two power connectors 6 pins.  They will add about an inch to the length, once the cables are connected.

Here are the recommended system requirements for BF4:

The PC recommended configuration for optimal rate of quality and Visual framework:

    • (Intel Core i5 or i7) CPU, Quad core at 3 Ghz
    • 4 GB memory (8 GB for 64-bit operating systems)
    • A modern map of DX11 graphics with 2 + GB of video memory, the series 600 GeForce or Radeon 7000 series
    • Windows 7 64 - bit operating system (Windows 8 is supported as well)
    • 30 + GB of free hard disk space

This is the recommended configuration for the Cod: Ghosts:

    Recommended configuration

    • OS: Windows 7 64-Bit / 64-bit Windows 8
    • CPU: Intel Core i5-680 @ 3.6 GHz
    • RAM: 8 GB RAM
    • HARD drive: 40 GB HD space
    • Video: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 @ 4GB
    • Sound: Card its compatible DirectX
    • DirectX: DirectX 11
    • Internet: Connection broadband and service required for multiplayer connectivity. Internet connection required for activation.

As you can see, BF4 will probably work better with the HD 7850 than COD: ghosts.  Cod seems to be more intensive graphics.

  • HP 15-D103TX computer laptop problem: Windows does not detect the dedicated graphics card

    Hi all

I recently bought a laptop HP 15 - D103TX , which is held responsible for Free on BACK. I have updated my Windows 8 operating system and have installed all the drivers from the HP website. The laptop has dedicated 2 GB Nvidia Geforce 820 M graphics card.

But when I checked, I found that Windows displays the graphic memory dedicated only 0 MB.

As you can see in the screenshot, it shows as 0MB dedicated graphics memory.

Anyone can clear me, upward on this subject? Is it a driver problem, or what is Windows 8 going crazy.

Thank you very much in advance!

    Kind regards

    Brahmnoor

Okay, I found the solution. In fact, the Haswell Intel i5 processor that my 15 HP D103TX has also comes with an Intel 4600 GPU intregated. So when I do normal tasks, the GPU intregated works, so Windows does not display the NVIDIA GPU 820M, but when I play a game or doing intense graphics work, he switches to the NVIDIA one.

In fact, it makes sense, because it preserves the battery of the laptop.

Credit: found this solution on the NVIDIA support forums.

  • How to re - activate my graphics card after replacing my hard drive? I can't find my recovery disks.

My daughter's laptop hard drive died, so I replaced it. Now, she can't play the games she could play before. I can't find the recovery disks, but I never thought it would be a problem. I have Windows Vista install, I did without problem. The laptop is a CQ62-101TX. But the site of HP is not a real pack of drivers... Simply select those.

So, even if the laptop works for things like browsing the web and Microsoft Office, he cannot read the games. Before the crash of the HD, she was able to play games of high intensity graphic (Sims 3 was his favorite). However, after installation, the game continues to say here that he cannot find a DirectX 9 c compatible graphics card. Manager displays the card as a generic VGA card. I tried to install the Radeon Mobility drivers, without effect.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

  • Recommend a computer for a web graphic artist/designer?

What Dell desktop model would you recommend for a web graphic artist/designer? What are the options and what screen? Please note that things are essential and which are nice luxuries.

    Thank you!

Haha, I was JUST talking to a friend who wants to use the blender for animation work & a PC (or Mac since it has debate between them) for him. She is a computer laptop 17 "who want to, but I think you want a desktop computer, Yes?

If so I have set up this Studio XPS 7100 for you real quick.
    Phenom II X 4 820 + ATI Radeon HD 5450 1 GB
-[Change of the 945 CPU series for $40]-
    -[Change the combo CPU/GPU for the Phenom II X 4 820 + Radeon HD5770 for $130].
    -[Change the combo CPU/GPU for the Phenom II X 4 945 + Radeon HD5770 for $170]-
    4 GB RAM DDR3
750 GB HARD drive (get twice the space, 1.5 to, for $100 more)
No WiFi [add WiFi-N for $40]
    $739,99

Or an Inspiron desktop PC - 580 is a good choice:

    Core i5-750 (no upgrade option)
ATI Radeon HD 5450 1 GB of DDR3 memory (no upgrade option)
    4 GB RAM DDR3
750 GB HARD drive (more great option is 1.5 TB for $60)
    No WiFi option
    $649.99
I think you're going after the Studio XPS for two reasons: 1) it is their more "professional" series without being in the category of small businesses. And (2) Sudio XPS [IMHO & encompassing experience] have hardware failures less than any other brand Dell - except perhaps Alienware. But if they fail they break hard [as at the most $$$ + time of difficulty].

Doesn't include no guarantees or additional software (office, programs Adobe, etc.).

A little more in detail about my choice:
AMD Phenom II X 4 CPU work comparable to the Core i5 series - usually, the differences being between 3 and 5% in various tasks (except games) according to hardwaresecrets.com - in order not to sweat a significant difference in performance. For what you do, being for the most intensive graphics, I can't say that your CPU will take into account as well.

My concern is bridge - not being is not familiar with it, I had to do a little research. It is certainly more time intensive GPU CPU. So based on the measure you use it you might otherwise. Which can be discussed if needed.

Speaking of graphics, the ATI Radeon HD 5450 is a 1 GB model. By design, it is better to have a bigger framebuffer (in other words, the video RAM) and a fast GPU. Games & video encoding hardcore would benefit more from that. Of course, feel free to upgrade the processor in the Studio - you are not able to do in the initial configuration of the Inspiron 580 on the site. But it can always been done later, if necessary.

Finally, I would state that it is both moderately specc'd had systems. It will last you a few years in terms of decent performance. After that I'm sure Adobe CS 6 or 7 will have new encoding software to take advantage of the new new equipment manufacturers. If you are looking for something that will last longer... well consider a bigger budget [I don't know what yours is] & factor something like a Core i7, 8 GB of RAM (at least) and an ATI 5770 in there with the larger hard drive, you can manage.

I'll be happy to help you more, if you ask. Just after once you have read this.

  • No graphics advanced W500, Win 7 RC

    Hello

I installed Windows 7 but I can't ati V5700 at work, it disappears from the Device Manager after installation. At first I thought that I hit Setup twice and the screen went backwards, installation completed and restart windows but only Intel 4500 card was the graphics card in Device Manager.

I tried to upgrade my windows 7 dvd (I thought it is something like repair), it took the Device Manager showed ati 3650 card in years. After trying to install the screen go backwards for a while and then map dissapeard completely. After that, I tried one last time to do a clean reinstall of Windows 7. Unfortunately the same thing happen.

Anyone managed to install V5700 on ThinkPad W500 with Windows 7 RC? Of course, I'd love to know how.

    Hello, Lukas:

I did a clean install of W7 on my W500 (4062-27U) and the graph feature worked fine "right out of the box.  I don't have to install a driver, a fully satisfactory driver is present on the W7 installation disc.

    Here's how I did things:

    (1) prior to installing W7 RC (build 7100), I went into the BIOS and turned off switchable graphics.  In other words, I told the computer to use discrete graphics - which means, high-performance graphics - all the time and completely ignore the presence of the built-in chart functionality.

    (2) I then made the new installation of W7.  When the operating system has been installed, it is the discreet graphics card and installed a driver.

    (3) then, I resisted the urge to hang out with the OS installed driver.  In other words, I tried not to install any graphic driver Lenovo or ATI.

When I ran a system performance test, I noticed that the partition 'graphic design' was quite high (6.1), but the score 'games and graphics management' was a little smaller than what I had with Vista SP 2 (4.9 on W7 against 5.4 on Vista SP 2).  However, after using the computer for a few days - including use for DVD playback and for intensive graphics work such that SolidWorks and AutoCAD - I couldn't notice a difference between the graphics performance of the Microsoft-provided driver that came with W7 and the supplied driver Lenovo I had with Vista SP2.  In other words, the computer works fine, it's fast enough.

I'm sure that eventually, Lenovo or ATI will come out a video driver designed for W7.  But for now, I'm pretty happy with how things are running.  I found W7 would be very fast and without problems.

  • How necessary is a graphics card for Horizon view?

I wonder how important it really is to a graphics card help with graphics using Horizon. None of my clients will use intensive graphics, such as games or CAD software. That said, the experience will be good as an experience of laptop to customers, with no particular graphic but things are ok in all?

This is not necessary unless you have specific needs for 3D applications and 3D rendering.

Even without and GPU:s, you can provide features basic coated CPU software with 3D.

  • AS3: stamp graphic

Is it possible to create a buffer of graphics in ActionScript 3.0?

I want to create an object and use it to attract many images simultaneously on the screen. But I don't want to clone this object in memory (because I intend to use it intensely and with bitmaps). Is it possible to do?

The answer is there is no way to do it. Looking for answers that are native to other ways of thinking and to manipulate objects. How Flash is like that. There is no way to draw something without her. There is no way to copy something without copying. I don't understand how you could reuse it without copying. Even with tampons you copy it again, it is that the circuit is designed to optimize this process

In General, the Flash is a cpu/memory hog and if you put a lot of graphics to the screen, more memory is needed. With the help of clips/sprites you reduce the file size and requirements. This is not to say he is no better/less demanding ways to reuse your content. The BitmapData class and its related methods will certainly be of great service. (I just learned about lock () /unlock () and if you do a lot of manipulation of pixels that can really speed things up.)

Maybe if you shared the actual use, code, effect, you try to reach we could provide guidance on how to optimize? People have done a lot of games, ray casting game tiles, and other intensive graphics and they work fine.

  • heating iphone7

I have the iPhone 7 128 black and my phone also becomes very hot use (lite) and the battery drains too fast

    Hello hrshtptl611,

Congratulations on your new iPhone 7. It is my understanding that you have been affected by warm temperatures and short battery life. I know all the problems with a new device can be very concerning. I'm here to help.

When you use the device or charge the battery, the device could warm up. You may notice that your device feel warmer in these situations:

    • When you set up your device the first time
    • When you restore from a backup
    • What apps re-index or perform a new analysis of data, like Photos of marking for the faces, places, or keywords after a software update

These conditions are normal, and your device will return to a regular temperature when finished.

Here are some of the conditions of higher temperature and activities that could cause the device change performance and behavior:

    • Leave the device in a car on a hot day.
    • Leave the device in direct sunlight for an extended period of time.
    • With the help of some functions in hot conditions or direct light of the Sun for a period extended time, such as the GPS tracking or navigation in car, or play a game of intensive graphics.

Keep the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch in acceptable operating temperatures

Please use the information below for more information on optimizing the life of the battery:
