Intention of orientation error folio

I have a problem with one of my folios. I created some time ago and may lack the opportunity to select the only landscape orientation and now I probably have an oriented double folio.  Try to publish this folio I get the following error:

"One of your articles is not for the orientation of the folio. Layouts items must match for orientation folio. »

I don't have landscape items in this folio no portrait ones. Is it possible to change it to a folio only landscape after you create or do I have to delete it all and again with the selection of the option only landscape?

Grateful for all the input!

It is also important to mention that you can copy items from the folio dual orientation for the new compatible folio via Folio Producer. It is certainly the fastest way to upward rotation a new doc.

  • Simple Handler.vi error ignores the error code?

I'm trying to understand the behavior of Simple Error Handler.vi, and it confuses me because it seems not be properly error code I give.

According to the documentation, if I have an error code, then:

If error in indicates an error, the VI ignores the error code. If this is not the case, the VI it tests. A nonzero value means a mistake.

But my observation is that when the error indicates an error, the VI always shows a dialog even when given an error code. Instead, I use the Handler.vi to General error and providing an exception action (cancel error on match) and an exception code to get the behavior I want.

    What am I misunderstanding?

There are two ways of interpreting unaware them in the sentence: "If the error indicates an error, ignore them error codeVI."

      1. (the intention) If the error indicates an error, the VI does not use the error code.

      2. (my point) If the error indicates an error, the VI deletes all corresponding to the error code.

  • Problem with double direction scrolling pages

I am trying to load two pieces of identification as an article for a DPS Folio.

    A single document 'xx_h.indd' which is 1024W x 1060 H, the other 'xx_v.indd' which is 768W x 1200 H.

When I try to download the two orientation by Folio Builder > add article, then select 'Import the multiple items' and the folder that contains the two files, I get a warning:

    Error generating content.

Cannot find the files to be imported as an article.

If I import items open the _it is imported as an article of portrait.

I managed with that for the other items of the folio where article landscape has less than 1024 px height.

I thought about it, I have a Smooth Scrolling put vertically, not both Directions. I thought that the page will scroll vertically, a poor understanding of the menu setting. Thanks anyway.

  • Analytics reports questions

Hi, we are having a similar problem. We have a pro account, publish both iPad and iPhone with double orientation as folios of detail.

We noticed that none of our articles that are "marked" as ads are showing up in our analytical report.

We have also noted that if an article is marked as an advertisement, but not hidden in the table of contents, analytics appear.

Our ads are marked before we publish, so this shouldn't affect the outcome. Marking an article to hide effects TOC if it appears in our analytics?

I know this is an old post, but I saw that this was not resolved. I can easily make a new post if necessary.

    Thank you

I've tested this and it is not the case for me.

An announcement is automatically hidden from the table of contents so I let it default and published. I then proceeded to some casual browsing of articles (with one of them marked as an advertisement) and he looks at all the good - see screenshot

My advice is to contact support so that they can look into it more precisely with your own account.

  • Folio Preview error with the Vertical Articles

I'm trying to build a basic folio.

I get an error noticed when I try to preview it on an iPad.

After several sessions of trials and errors, I created a new brand folio, allegedly with guidance a portrait and landscape.

If I insert a section of landscape, it works as expected.

If I load a portrait article it throws the preview error dreaded.

    Here are the details:

    • InDesign CS6 (8.0.1)
    • Mac OSX (10.8.5)
    • Folio dual orientation, containing:
    • A single, single article page (standard 1024 x 768, in vertical)

I have rebuilt the folio as the article page probably 6 times in the last three days trying to isolate this problem.

    Apparently, Miss me something.

    Someone at - it recommendations?

If you preview of Folio Builder Panel you * must * have a portrait and a landscape of article of the folio version when you have selected the double direction otherwise, you will get this error. If you preview the Folio overlays Panel, it will be just a glimpse of the open document and everything that is on your folio is not serious.

After typing this... don't do a folio dual orientation. It doubles your time of design, almost double the size of your folio and does not provide any benefit to your reader. To do this, choose a direction and design.

  • Mix single and double folio orientation

I'm not sure if this is a limitation, or am I wrong.

I want to build a Folio that has double orientation of some articles and some just horizontal.

When I do that, I get an error. Is this possible?

    It's all or nothing.

  • Error downloading folio for iPad via Content Viewer

    Hello

I'm having issues, get the folio to download on the Adobe Content Viewer for iPad app... whenever I get this message "folio download error. Please try again later. »

    I built a folio of single-app:

    1024 x 768

    Version of the Viewer: 20

    Orientation: Horizontal

    PDF format

Adobe InDesign CS6 with the latest tools and folio Builder

The folio consists of a single article with a page that contains two video files (two vignettes that play in full screen when it is turned on)

    10.8.2 OSX

I have an iPad 2 and iPad 3rd generation I have Adobe Content viewer on iOS 6 (latest version)

I tried to remove the application viewer content and re - download a new version, I tried to completely rebuild the folio from scratch, I also created a new username Adobe with an expense account to try the folio with... and each time it downloads fine without error... but refuses to download on the iPad.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong or what I should try?

Doesn't sound that you do something wrong at all. It could be due to performance issues on our servers that create problems to download large files. Here are a few things you can try:

    • If the folio is not already published, republish it as private. Downloads of published folios are often faster.
    • Try to create two sections each containing a video. Download plus two small files is generally better than downloading a large file.

If it still does not respond, you can share the folio with [email protected] and I'll be happy to take a look.

  • Simple edition / issue of publication regarding orientation FOlio

    of french

    An error occurred when publishing
One of your articles does not need to match the orientation of the folio.
Directions of items must correspond to the orientation of the folio

the thing is, all my items (10) are horizontal (single pages except on article whiwh is of two pages where I force the horizontal display)

I really don't see what the problem

You must create a new sheet and select the landscape orientation when creating.

  • Folio focus error

Wehn, I will publish my last folio, I get the following error:

"An error occurred while trying to publish your folio.

One of your articles is not for the orientation of the folio. Layouts items must match for orientation folio. »

I see no reason for this - all items appear as expected in the content viewer and Folio Producer. All items are in portrait orientation, some are more in depth and smooth scroll, but none of them are the landscape.

In addition, Adobe in their wisdom have decided to eliminate the very useful "download 1 20' progress bar when publish a Folio, so I have absolutely no idea what article is causing the problem!

What is the solution without having to rebuild the entire folio?

I understand the problem I was... I'm not used to having to select the orientation of my folio when I create the folio... so I put it in double direction and I ended up rebuilding for portrait only.

  • BindingExpression path error: 'Orientation' not found 'object' property "ColorScale'

    Hi all

A data binding error is thrown by the Debug Output window just after setting the DataSource property to certain data :

System.Windows.Data error: 40: BindingExpression path error: 'Orientation' not found 'object' property "ColorScale '(HashCode = 50862316)'. BindingExpressionath = direction; DataItem = "ColorScale' (HashCode = 50862316); Target element is 'DependencyPropertyListener' (HashCode = 6239444); target property is 'Target' (type 'Object')

    I did the following:

    Graph graphic = new Graph();
    Graph Plots.Add (new Plot());
    Graph plots [0]. Renderer = new IntensityPlotRenderer();
    (Graph (IntensityPlotRenderer). Parcels [0]. Rendering engine). ColorScale = new ColorScale();
    Graph DataSource = new list();

The error message is raised right after the execution of the assignment of a new list of the data source. The error seems harmless but it would be nice to understand what is causing this problem.

    Thank you.

    Hi, gabe0

It seems that this error occurs because the chart control is to look at his collection of scales to determine if scale orientation changes took place, but the ColorScale does not have a direction property. While you can't do anything to your program to work around this error, you can safely ignore it. I filed a bug for this behavior report.

    Thanks for the comments!

  • HP purchased Folio 13 about 22 months ago. often get error not responding

I am operating Windows 7 and I have the folio 13 base.  Since the purchase I did nothing for leaving my computer except for the defragmentation.  I was wondering if there is a way, I could sure it works the best efficiency.  Skype always displays an error on startup when I open my contacts list.  Advice on improving the speed of the computer would be greatly appreciated.  Finally, I recently spilled water on the keyboard.  It is important to have the computer open for inspection?  It has been 3 weeks and it starts very well!

If it has been 3 months, I wouldn't try to open it and inspect.

For the interview, I would recommend running HP Support Assistant and performs updates and options tuneup.

You can also run the MS 7 utilities to help you optimize the system.

  • Migration folio account error

When I try to access my account of folio Viewer Adobe DPS/content in the new Adobe web portal post, I received the error: "ERROR: no content was found in the account provided.» I can still see my content on the Viewer on a device application. Is there a bug or a fix for this?

Is the DPS account that you use to connect has an Application role? The source account must have an Application role.

If is an account of the Application, does it include slips that are published in the form of Public? There should be at least one.
