Interactive buttons in InDesign CS5.5 Backwards left arrow type

Does anyone have a solution to the type back that appears in all the arrows left or previous page in the Section of interactive button InDesign?

Is this a bug in the software. So it seems that the buttons on the left have been created by flop right arrows... type them back. I'm trying to flop the guy but the button quite switch.

Any workaround for this?

Thank you.

You're talking about the Swatch Library panel buttons buttons? You have probably tried to insert text on graphic image that creates the appearance of button´s? I Don t know if that s a good idea...

How about conversion button to oppose, adding text, object of groupping + text and conversion group for the new button... and re - create the action?

Or another possible way would be to write the text on it s own separate frame outside the key to correct place on the button and then drag it into the button´s States Normal/RollOver with layers panel or use the copy and paste commands in put it.

  • interactive PDF using Indesign CS5.5 problem with overlay

    Hi all

I designed an interactive pdf - not for the web. I have a stratification of problem on a page. On the page, there are 6 buttons. Each key pressed will propose a box containing information and content. When I designed the page using indesign cs5.5, I did so that most information box has been at the top of the layer. I thought this would be the cleanest way to present the page. By having the largest area of content (each of the six boxes of content are different sizes) in the upper part, it would cover the other boxes. When I exported the file to the smallest box was the head, and then the secondest etc. It seems pretty messy.

Is there a way to make sure that the lagest content area is upstairs when it exported in pdf format?

  • Interactive buttons in InDesign - for an iPad

    Hello!

I have an assignment for a University project, of associating with someone and create an e-book for children. Well, we did not have that long it due to other deadlines and the deadline for this project is next Friday (22nd).

We created the layout of the e-book, but it's buttons work on the area of preview in InDesign, but it does not work when you use the Adobe Content Viewer on iPad - assignment creates the document for an iPad.

This is apparently because the buttons to use Flash, and can't handle the iPads.

We gave an art work and want to create a button/interactivity where the player (a 3-6 years?) needs to find a certain animal on the page, and then once they do this, they need to draw, in order for a fact to appear in this topic.

    For example...

It is one of the pages/screens. It tells the reader to find the Seagull. Easy, I know, but when you press the Seagull, we want that it find it. The red area around the Seagull is a button and the box towards the top right of the Seagull is the fact that fires after selecting the Seagull.

It works very well in the tab preview InDesign... This was after clicking on the Seagull, which resulted in the box that appears...

I watched a video on the website of Adobe on a FLASH converter to HTML5 Wallaby Technology Preview program, but it does not work with it. The person had a mobile animation, although I guess and not buttons.

Something like a pop-up message would work in iBook author but it must be created using InDesign. (This version I use is 5.5)

  • Be careful with Interactive PDF from InDesign

    Hi all

I created an interactive PDF in InDesign CS5 with a series of buttons these buttons to link to pages of a bookmark in the document. These buttons are configured on one of the masters. It seems that whenever I get more than 10 keys on the master, I get the following warning when I open the PDF file in Adobe Reader:

"Please Note: you cannot save a completed copy of the form on your computer." "If you want a copy for your records, please fill it out and print it"

I don't have any kind of form fields in the document that I know. Is it possible to locate the form fields if they in fact exist?

Is there a limit of 10 buttons by master perhaps?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Exporting to PDF from InDesign CS5

Probably a real simple question to answer, but I am confused.  I'm trying to export a bulletin 6 pages in .pdf format from InDesign CS5; It comes out as a 4-page document in the following sense: the first page is fine (vertical on letter size), the 2nd and 3rd pages appear side by side (horiz. / letter) like pages 4 and 5.  Page 6 is again very well (vertical/letter).  I never had this problem with CS4...  Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance, Wharton

  • InDesign CS5 or 5.5 Interactive pdfs - create a button for printing?

    Hello beautiful InDesign experts.

I am creating an interactive pdf using CS 5.5 and would like to have a button on each page which, when pushed, opens a print window (if the user can print the page, or a range of pages, if they want to). I know you can do it for the finished pdf in Acrobat, but prefer to keep everything in InDesign, if possible.

    Thank you much in advance,

    Lisa

No, you cannot add a "print" button in InDesign. To be assigned in Acrobat.

  • InDesign interactive button CC does not declare all appearing when you export as interactive pdf

Using InDesign CC, I have created buttons with normal turnover, click on States with action to show/hide the other buttons of release or tap, then exported as an interactive pdf. Everything works except the State of 'click' of the button, I get the normal and the reversal. Any suggestions?

Could be done by two buttons in InDesign, where, after the click, the button mask itsself and shows the second orange 100% button. Need you a "reset" button but to show the first button again if needed later.

  • Button nail in interactive PDF from InDesign CC

I designed an interactive PDF in InDesign CC. When I export and open it with Acrobat the 'buttons' have a blue fill (see them the color for the border of stationary fields).

I know that I can go into my Acrobat preferences and disable this option however when sharing with other users the PDF I don't want that they have to make those changes in their Acrobat preferences or devrais I must. I understand the highlight color is important when creating text fields for forms, but it's a boring and useless feature for the "buttons".

It also makes my custom buttons look crap. Is it possible in InDesign to turn off the highlight color before exporting to interactive PDF?

See my screen capture below, you can see how it destroyed my design.

Geigreg I am a designer as well and understand try this with my code above:

    `

Acrobat X Pro, you will use the JavaScript Panel in the tool pane. You may need to display the JavaScript in the dropdown at the top right of the Tools pane.

To add the script to the Document level, you then click Document JavaScripts. An opening of dialogue where you enter the name of the script (for example "highlighted". Then, a text editing box opens, where you can enter the code. Select the entire document and delete it. Then add the code as described above. Confirm and close the dialog boxes.

For the willClose script, click the value of the Document Actions. Opens a dialog box where you can choose the events. Select close document. An edigint text box opens, where you can enter the code. Enter the code as described above. Confirm and close the dialog boxes.

Save the document and reopen it.

    I hope this can help.

Can someone help me? I have InDesign Cs5.5 under. My horizontal palettes and tool bar buttons do not work. • Interactive PDF file using InDesign CS5

I created an interactive portfolio in InDesign. In the InDesign layout I created a "Testimonial" button when the user clicks top reveals a letter of reference. (The reference letter is also a button.) The viewer must click on a 'Close' button on the reference letter to return to the view of the portfolio.

It is set up and when I have view it in InDesign using the preview area. This works.

When I export to interactive PDF format and view in Acrobat. The "Close" button is not there. Therefore, I am unable to return to the view of the portfolio.

I would like to do a button in inDesign to give users the ability to view a PDF file in full screen. Just like the inDesign PDFs button Magazine have.

In Indesign, you can assign a button action "Zoom Mode" (action at the bottom of the list). In the PDF file, it will take a user in full screen.

  • InDesign CS5 will stop when you insert a left master page.

Is in InDesign CS5 down whenever I try to insert a page of a master. I'm trying to insert a page on the back before a spread. Normally, he would bump the current back front and front down to the next release. (I need to add many blank backs in a document that has facing pages.) I have the latest update (7.0.3) and reading all the previous posts on similar issues. Have tried several fixes (including removing the columns on master pages, which I did, to no available.) and I'm about to save all my files down to CS4 just so I can get the work done. Is there a cure for this bug yet? I was hoping 7.0.3 fixed (and the random items that appear from master pages on the documents that have been converted to CS4), but appears not to be the case.

Everyone knows this annoyance? Adobe? work on this problem? Thanks for any help.

Have you tried remove minor corruption by exporting?
