  I have forms IAS 11.1.1.6. When I click on text tabled in form with the mouse, the text within the field is not highlighted (selected), but the slider is set when I clicked.
  When I tried the same thing on the same form on IAS 10 g and Forms 6i, the text still highlighted so I can run directly over the text.

  The behavior has changed several times between the versions. If there is a situation where the text is not selected, but you prefer that he was, simply create a trigger in a TIMES - NEW - ITEM - INSTANCE and add the built-in SELECT_ALL*. This will cause the text to select when entering.

  Data can be imported into another form, but if it is not based on the same structure or schema (having the same name is not enough), then you can map incoming data to the fields on your form (this is called binding). In the dataview tab, you can create a new data connection (use the sample xml option) and your data structure is displayed in the palette. Then simply drag and drop each data node on the ground where the data should go. An icon will appear next to the data node to indicate that it is linked. Now, when you import the product data knows where you want the mapped data.

  You can also see where each field of the form is bound by highlighting the classified and clicking on the link tab.

  We have some users who are frustrated with navigation in the planning forms in 11.1.2.3.  That's what I've noticed, and I would like to know if this is the way in which planning is supposed to work, or if we have bugs.  Our browser is IE 8, but we get the same behavior in Mozilla.

  1. we can use the arrow keys and move in all directions, but cannot change the cell, unless you click with the mouse.  In edit mode, we can not arrow out.

  2. we can tab from cell to cell, modify the data and tab on.  If we tab in a read-only column, we are blocked and cannot tab out.

  I don't like logging SRs for that sort of thing, but the support guys, I'm supposed to challenge such things.  It might be something wrong with our implementation.  Is this normal and EXPECTED?

  This was noted as a known issue in Bug 17282780 : INTERNET EXPLORER - SHAPE CELL cannot BE OUT WITH KEYS, CURSOR, TAB or ENTER

  This problem is caused by the introduced interface 11.1.2.2 ADF go. Oracle Dev still working on this issue.

  We have designed an interactive pdf with text fields. We need the text fields in a Chinese font. I understand that this cant be done in Indesign (change the police seized in Chinese), I moved the file to Acrobat Pro and used the text property to change the font Simsun but when we try the police is always in English. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

  It will take the user to install the Asian language pack and or traditional Chinese:

  When the user attempts to enter Chinese characters, it will invite the user to download if is not already installed. Large unicode fonts get not include for the use of form fields as other fonts are.

  I am fairly new to APEX, sorry if my question is too obvious. I use Apex 4.0.2 on top of Oracle 11.2.
  
  I have an interactive report that lists the contents of a table. Since there are a lot of columns in this table I would like the report to only show that some identifier columns and all of the currently selected folder is displayed using another report in a separate area on the same page.
  
  The 'link' on the interactive report column is almost that, except that he jumps on another page; I would just like to have a subreport, updated with the data that is selected instead of a new page is displayed. Does anyone know how to do?

  This looks like what I usually do in my referential data.

  I use the wizard to create the "report."

  I make sure that the two regions (the form and report) will be created on the same page number

  so I check/change the order of regions (second report in the first place, form)

  then I put in the form to display in the column 2

  A workaround is to declare a variable whose particular field value. Then reset the form. Then reallocate the specific field with the variable:

  now my questions:

  (1) don't miss something (style) for the EditFields? At the present time, it is possible to change them, but the behavior (9700 Simulator) is strange: it is 'difficult' to get from one field to the other and everything moves sometimes when editing...

  How do you define a standard form that seems 'normal' and can be completed as expected in other applications? (Swifts nothing, it is possible to access the next field with the expected key / trackpad (I have no touch screen)) and so on?

  The EditFields do not even have a border, but I guess that's the standard case on BlackBerry.

  1. you have defined fields as follows:

  The 20 means 20 characters, so it's all the field allows you to enter.

  2. Yes, the mail filter is pretty useless.  Use the EmailAddressEditField instead

  3. you can play with the scroll, but the best thing to do is to set the focus on the first field that you want people to pull together - usually the upper part of the form.

• Wizard built in form with Validation issues

  APEX 4.2.4, running with the Wizard built in form, with a collection as a source of data from a table. I have a manual process to save the data in my table, but I have a couple of columns having validation Wizard built on them.  When I try and save I get the message annoying that it means my data are tool and I need to update my table...

  I thought that this could be due to having disabled on my form, or perhaps because of the unalterable columns columns...  However, when I went and built a manual validation routine (have look through the g_f00x table storing data from columns one) I was still able to get this annoying message "Outdated information" to appear...

  Does anyone have a reliable solution when using forms in a table to get rid of this message?

  (Previous conversations showed my group here how to remove the "Save before paging message", then perhaps another similar solution there...)

  No need to use. each(). I have not really a configuration with a form of hybrid tab on a collection at hand to test, but I think that just those of compensation and submission should not produce these errors. I could be wrong however. Try to start with debugging to see if you can spot something?
