Interactive forms and style of these forms

I just saw a topic concerning a sensitive form, but what about an interactive form? I tested the forms eloqua provides and the function of what they are built for, but I don't see an option to make them interactive.

For example, I want to ask for

  • name
  • family name
  • E-mail
  • do you like beer?
    • Yes
    • None
  • If Yes, then
    • do you like the wine?
      • Yes
      • None
  • If not,
    • do you like cola?
      • Yes
      • None

Such a thing is still possible as part of Eloqua? Or should I make a shape outside Eloqua?

Apart from this issue, I would also like to know if it is possible to add style (css) to a form of Eloqua? They do not seem their appearance just to meet my expectations, but I can imagine that there is little customization possible?

Mike

This achievable outside of eloqua using the simple HTML and javascript/jQuery.

Copy the following code for jquery

$(document) .ready (function () {}

$(".beer").click (function () {}

var beer = $(this) .val ();

{if(Beer=="Yes")}

$(".div1").fadeIn ();

$(".div2").fadeOut ();

}

else {}

$(".div2").fadeIn ();

$(".div1").fadeOut ();

}

})

});

    Just found a possible solution if someone else gets stuck on this.

    Saved as a PDF interactive using radio buttons, and then opened in Acrobat and in the properties of the radio button, and then under 'options' changed 'style of button' to 'check' and that seemed to work.

  • Interactive form fields within a table

    Hello

    I use Indesign CC on a pc.

    I create interactive forms structured in a table.

    Forms are in the format of project and constantly evolving with the lines of the table of content added or deleted.

    How to anchor various checkboxes, radio buttons and text fields, so that they remain with their corresponding table cell/row, so I don't have to realign the interactive fields with each change?

    Thank you

    Sue

    You can anchor their cell by dragging the frame of the blue anchor on each button at the front of the end of the marker in the history.

  • How do you get a zero for being recognized on an interactive form when he entered in the first issue?

    In a numeric field, how do you get a zero, which first came to be recognized? I have an interactive form, and one of the fields for a file number. Each year the first number is 0001. When a customer types in "0001" response populated, it's just '1' and the zeros are not recognized and that they should do.

  • Data connection to the interactive form returns no results

    I have an interactive form of Adobe with a data connection that calls a function module compatible SAP rfc.  The call works fine, but it must return a value in the data connection response.  I know that the function module is feeding the return variable and binding form field to the answer is correct, but it never shows up.  We are on Live Cycle 9.0, with SAP EHP7.  Wsdl and soap links all look good. I tried data as "ordinary" connections and "run", used the two text fields of hierarchy and directly by dragging the data finds the response to the form field.  I played with various permutations to the soap and wsdl url.  The value of the response is necessary so that the user sees the result of the action (triggered by a button on the form).  Don't know what else to try.  As I said, the call to the SAP function module works fine, it's just the answer that I can't go back to the form. Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

    I finally solved the problem myself.  Looks like a bug to me.

    In my interactive form, I have a button associated with the data EXTRACT connection that calls a function module compatible rfc in SAP called Z_LEMS_EXTRACT.  This function module returns a result of string called E_MESSAGE.

    The returned E_MESSAGE is then bound to a form text field.

    The generated XML defines the link as

    Z_LEMS_EXTRACTResponse\. E_MESSAGE

    I had to manually change the xml code for

    Z_LEMS_EXTRACT\. Response.E_MESSAGE

    This was determined by referring to another interactive form that was created in a previous version of Live Cycle Designer and a previous version of SAP, he used "\Response." and worked properly.  So I applied the same coding here and it works.

    Greetings

    If I understand your question, I can confirm that you can produce a form with InDesign, which, in addition to the text fields and other types of fields, you can include a drop-down list box in which, for example, you can list the cities. Use the workspace in Indesign PDF interactive.

    Create the form in InDesign, export it as an interactive PDF and refine in Acrobat Pro and Reader allow so users using Acrobat Reader can store the data they enter into the fields.

    Hi rilanab49377272,

    If you have Acrobat, you will use the component shapes on the tools Panel to add interactive form fields to the PDF document. If you do not have Acrobat, you can download a 30 day trial of http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html. To help you get started, here are a few topics help on the use of forms in Acrobat: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/topics/forms.html.

  • The interactive form data collection

    Hello all:

    I designed an interactive form that works well and has extended features so that the user can save the form. When the form is submitted, the data comes back in XML format, and I need to go back to PDF format. I use LIveCycle ES 8.2.1.

    In previous versions of the form where we did not use the dynamic tables, data are returned to CSV I could then download it in Excel.

    How do I with a dynamic form?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi Traskj,

    You can change your button a to send by e-mail "button to a plain old"Button ". And then in the object tab specify the Type of control as 'submit '. This will give you a tab submit.

    On the submit tab to set submit to the URL field to be mailto:mailaddress (for example: mailto:[email protected]). In the send as, select PDF.

    Using a normal button (a button Email), you get the additional control to present it as.

    Kind regards

  • Best option to create interactive forms for Ipad

    What is the best option available to create interactive forms for an ipad? I read that you need another application like PDF Expert etc... to fill out your forms. This isn't a good workflow for me. I need to create an html form that I put in an article in Indesign and then export to DPS?

    You must write in HTML and then place it either superimposed article or web in your publication. Adobe Captivate can be used to do this, see http://blogs.adobe.com/jlockman/2012/10/16/using-adobe-captivate-projects-in-dps-folios/.

  • Best workflow for updating of interactive forms initially created in InDesign

    Abdoulaye

    Using InDesign CS6 and Acrobat X (10.1.4)

    I created an interactive form 2 page with InDesign exported as an interactive PDF Acrobat applied fields scroll, names twisted the color of the text and fonts, etc.

    But now, I'm not sure of the best way for the form to have some updates that actually change the layout a bit, I think I have to work from the original InDesign file once again, but how to avoid having to recreate all the fields I added in Acrobat.

    Just trying to create an efficient workflow, start from scratch does not seem the best option.

    I made the spaces that contain the fields in the form of white rounded corners and shadows on a color background in order to consolidate the brand image, however all this in InDesign and I now "you wonder if it's a good idea.

    So now demand additional two drop-down lists and a medium additional field I have to adjust the design layout, I don't think that can be achieved in Acrobat.

    You can copy text from one PDf to another fields and retain all properties? Suppose so I set the background and copy the fields in place.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thank you

    Replacing the old pages with the new, it is how this situation is most commonly treated. It preserves not only the fields, but also other interactive elements that you have such as bookmarks and links. Any code at the level of the document, you add and document actions remain as well.

    Fields can be copied a page at a time, but before 11 Acrobat, are not glued in place, so you may need to do some repositioning. This generally results in the smallest file size, but can be tedious.

    Regarding everything in InDesign, CS6 can be implemented in the fields, but there are a number of limitations and bugs that reduces the usefulness of this feature. For example, to set the font for a field or add JavaScript actions.

  • Need complete information about the construction of interactive forms in IDCS6

    Need complete information about the construction of interactive forms in IDCS6

    Where could I get the most thorough training for the creation of interactive forms in IDCS6?

    I need a tutorial that covers all the basics of the beginning to the end and the rules that cannot be broken. I thought I learned enough today to write one, but it appears there are holes in my methods I discovered tonight.

    In fact prices of Claudia on Lynda.com is about creating forms with Acrobat X Pro, and she finished before InDesign CS6 was available.

    Anne-Marie Concepcion discussed creation of forms in his new functions in InDesign CS6 video Lynda.com.

    But Sandee Cohen wrote an article dynamite in the current issue of InDesign Magazine on creating forms in InDesign CS6 which is very comprehensive.  The magazine is not available for free.

  • Some issues related to the digital signature on an interactive form

    I just finished a contract of interactive advertising with a 128-bit encryption allowing recipients to submit CC of information securely to our publishing company. Even if the form in the upper fields allow to type the name of an authorized person, the signature on the bottom line is having problems because so that everyone to sign, they need a digital signature.

    (1) is it necessary? If so, is it possible to automate it for customers, so they do not have to go through the process of creating one?

    (2) how to create a digital signature for my partner and have the form SUBMIT button channel back to his address of e-mail instead of mine (which it does because of another interactive form, that I created in which I was the person for returns)? I couldn't find anything in the 'properties' of the OK button that allowed me to enter an e-mail address.

    I thank very you much for your help here. It's time-sensitive, because we need get the package ASAP.

    1 if you need a digital signature, then set up a digital ID is required to sign a digital signature field. So the question is really more fundamental: you need people to sign the form with a digital signature? If you say yes, what are the reasons?

    2. If you use the distribution process in Acrobat so thatt you can collect form data in an answer file, you should distribute the form using the other person with Acrobat installed on machine.

    If you don't want to do this and you want to only collect the documents returned without putting the data in an answer file, you can configure your own submit button using any email address you want and that you do not use the distribution process. You must activate the document reader and then send or otherwise get for users. How to configure the Send button depends on how you want it to run exactly and which version of Acrobat you are using. More information can be found here: http://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/form-submit-e-mail-demystified

    If you want to continue to go through the process of distribution and want to change the email address it uses, you can change it to: Edit > references > identity > Email address

    You will then have to redistribute the form with a copy of the form as it existed before your first distribution. The answer file will be on your machine.
