• Two questions: Running XP and have some interesting questions at the start and with IE.

  Hi, I try to wear the IT hat and works to clear up some questions on my mother's computer.  #1 I guess that the computer was shipped with a version of Corel Photo software on it and we cannot get rid "Installer" messages at the beginning upward.  We tried to remove the program and the same message comes back to tell us that "Installer can do the requested action without the CD/program files" it gets about 6 of these reviews that it must close any until the computer will continue to boot the system.  Please, please tell me how to get rid of this.  I tried to install the 'Installer' update to see if that would make the difference and nope.  I also tried to remove the Corel file via CCleaner and got the same message.  I do not have the program disc, I don't want to program... I want to just get rid of it!

  #2 when entering address in the Internet Explorer address bar, the browser opens a second browser instead of going to the requested site.  For example, when I open my Internet Explorer and say go to the top of the address bar and typewww.google.com, instead of going to Google, it opens a completely separate browser.  When she did this, it's EXTREMELY SLOW!  until you think that IE went unresponsive and then finally opens the second browser.

  I agree that the documentation is not clear enough on the objectives of windows.

I create vSwitch which I create a VMkernel port and assign an IP address that is in the same subnet as NetApp box. I give this all active vSwitch 4 network cards and then activate the s/w iSCSI initiator. I am able to communicate with the NetApp box. now the question is through which nic I am communicating to the BOX iSCSI?

  Can I configure the aggregation of links for this configuration with a single port VMkernel, it balances the load in this case?

  For iSCSI, I do not recommend to use the aggregation of links, but to set up the network, in the right way (and as suggested by the storage for vSphere provider) to use MPIO.

  NIC working? Generally, one for each LUN... (so more LUNS are a good idea).

  I am a newbie at ODI and downloaded the software and demonstration environment (more instructions). The Installer seems to be okay, but when I get to the point where I should connect to the demo environment, I follow the instructions, but can't type in WORKREP as a repository of work - the field is grayed, and I can't go any further.
  
  I started the demo environment using startdemo.bat, and everything seems OK (or at least no error) apart from that.
  
  Am I right to say that the UCR does not need to be run, just to use the demo environment?
  
  Please can someone help? I would like to evaluate the product, but have to face the wall.

  I checked the short video you sent me on my personal email. The error you receive is because of the incorrect password ODI.

  I think the ODI password should be CHARGE and not SUNOPSYS as stated in my original post.

  Please try with SUNOPSIS, password demo environment default ODI SUNOPSIS value, unless you explicitly changed it to SUNOPSYS.

  Come to your 2nd question, I don't think that any demo Virtual Box VM to ODI will be publicly available.
