• Max cannot display maps more

  Hi all

  I have a problem with my PC DAQ, when I run the program NI MAX that he displays more two cards that are installed in the folder 'Devices and Interfaces', see screenshot.

  Suggestion of Marlow is probably on the right track. It is likely that you have a MAX Database Corruption. One of the main signs that this has happened is that when you click on a sign "more" which should normally be clicked to expand this menu, the sign disappears. I noticed in your screenshot that the plus sign next to peripherals and Interfaces has disappeared.

  The best document to look at would actually be titled knowledge base what is the process to remove MAX Database Corruption?

• CSA Client access rule

  I am running APF on a number of jobs in direct mode, but I wanted to give some users a privileged access (Tech) so I created a group of States with these users user and when users log into a machine with the CSA, they are able to see the interface user and turn csa to install applications. For other users of that rule of the user interface is not enabled so not visible on their desktop. It seems to work, but the user interface often disappears if I make it a rule to change or create a new rule. It's a good way or I'm hacking in a way that should not be used. Now technicians need to reboot the machine and relog in their accounts to see the icon of the CSA client. Seems to me that there should be a better way.

  Sounds like a good way. Don't forget there is no other User Agent interface control rules that could be walking on the one you have created.

  In addition, the User Agent interface will disappear if there is no User Agent applied to the host interface control rule.

• Use of NIC outside ESX

  We lack ESX 3.5 on a server with 3 cards of IBM Pro/1000 PT PCIe quad. Currently none of the network adapters on these cards are used and ifconfig shows them as vmnic2 - vmnic13.

  We want to take one of those unused cards and assign an IP address. We do NOT want to be part of the vswif0, or the Service Console or anything like that. ESX server has no need to be involved in this CARD care and feeding at all. We are trying to create a private network of dorsal between ESX server and another Unix server.

  All the research I found shows us how to create a vswif0 interface or a service Console interface, etc. No one seems to know or want to configure just an old plain NIC on the server for one use other than by ESX.

  We are concerned, the server VM has no need to access these to all network interface cards. To this end, we tried:

  So, it is less useful, and network interface cards disappeared completely from the system. So we ran vmkload_mod e1000 and they reappear as vmnic2 - vmnic13 again.

  Using the VI Client is easier to connect directly to the host.

  Select Configuration-> network

  Click Add a network

  Select "Service Console" as the type of

  Select the NETWORK card you want to use

  Give him the IP that you want to use.

  It is perfectly normal behavior. If the static route would remain in the routing table, the router might be transfer traffic to an interface that is not working properly.

  An exception is a dialer interface, which connects to the application. The router must be able to transfer the traffic through a dialer, even when there is no call in progress. In this case, the router will be "spoof" the connection as being upward. You can see with ' show the Dialer interface... '

  I have a problem of access to keyboard on screen when using specific features of Windows 8. The problem only occurs with my desktop PC, I also have a Surface Pro 3 without any problems. The problem is that whenever I search for something, either in the charms on the right shortcut window drag the keyboard screen on just disappears and cannot be reopened until I have cancel the search. Same thing in fashion Metro/modern, while searching for an app. However the problem does not seem to influence the research done in desktop mode in the my PC popup.

  The Office I mainly use as a media center device for watching videos in different rooms when the office is physically. I can still use a physical keyboard to use searches, but sometimes my keyboard is not right next to me, while my mouse is always next to my hand. I found it faster to just short-circuit the keyboard input with the keyboard screen on when I browse the web. I know that the function should work because I do it all the time with my surface. Even with my keyboard attached to the surface, if I folded it with the kickstand on the back of the keyboard or just manually, click on the button of keyboard on screen with the keyboard typing normal position I can always get the screen keyboard works without any problem. I checked also with just my regular Asus laptop and who has the same problem as the office. This isn't really a problem with the laptop even if, as it is a standard design where the keyboard is not move or come off. Anyone has any ideas, it could be the cause?   • Using the screen keyboard or touch screen?

  There are two types of virtual keyboards on Windows 8, on-screen keyboard and touchpad. You may experience this problem if you are using a touchscreen keyboard on the task bar. We have checked this on our computer of Windows 8 and its default value of design.

  If you use the screen keyboard and the keyboard should not disappear if you use it in the modern user interface. Please confirm what virtual keyboard you use to help you also.

• HOL-SDC-1303 Module 2 - Interfaces disappears on distributed router (edge-2)

  When you try to complete the configuration for 'area to the mappings of Interface' for the logical distributed router 'edge-2', I continue to experience the following issue:

  There is no interface available in the drop down "Interface."  As soon as the cancellation of the configuration of the "area of Interface Mapping", I return to the 'Manage-> settings'tab to "edge 2".  The system simply "revivals" and never shows the submenus "Interfaces" or "Configuration".  In fact, all 3 interfaces that were configured previously, (Uplink_To_Perimeter, App_Interfaceand DB_Interface), disappeared.  That's why I have no interfaces available to select when you complete "area to the Interface mappings.

  I tried to use different browsers, deletion and recreation 'edge 2"(router distributed logic) from scratch, etc. and always until the end with the interfaces"disappear"when I try to complete the 'area to the mappings of Interface' for OSPF.

  Everyone knows this failure mode?  Any suggestions on how to move forward?

  It is a known problem in the lab environment that we have worked with engineering on where in general correct updating of the browser itself.  We work to understand exactly what causes this problem within the laboratory environment and see if we can correct.  Another measure corrective would be close IE and reopen that will also correct generally information center display properly, most often seen when adding interfaces to the VDR during laboratory exercises.

• CS3 strange disappearance of the user interface

  Hi all

  Just update my system to Vistax64 and installed my CS3 on here and his works fine. There is however a strange thing goes my palette UI and it disappears. I was just test it after installation (which has installed fine) and have been using it now for about two weeks. I tried searching on Google and stuff like that to see if anyone else has encountered this problem but not really found anything useful. Attached are some screenshots so you can see what I mean.

  As you can see, it's actually my Palette layers has no top border, position, or tabs. It's just empty. If I click it, it will collapse (minimize) and everything will be visible again (tabs, buttons to close the palette, etc.) if I click it again, it will expand just as it should look like. It does not only with the layers palette, but with all the windows that are docked on the right side if developed on. (not sure if I am making any sense, pictures tell the whole story)

  I am running Vista Ult 64 bit, 8 GB of Ram and 3.5 Ghz Quad Core processor. It works and works well, just, this produces every once in a while and its very annoying. Also happens in dreamweaver, flash and illustrator. I have reinstall photoshop twice just to make sure that it was not a faulty installation but it works and works well. Right next to this bug in the user interface.

  In case you are in mode "full screen", press F11 to return to the normal mode. Does make a difference?

  If that does nothing useful, could you explain what you mean by "the interface of Google?

• Ethernet interface disappeared

  As I rebooted my laptop this morning, I didn't more wired Ethernet network. I have not installed updates yesterday, but yesterday it worked correctly. It is not a problem with the router or the cable, because it works correctly with the other laptop. The router detects when I connect the cable (the port lights) but the router has no ARP entry for the connection (only for wifi that I need to write this question). In addition, it still works the WiFi.

  Restarting the laptop does not help. • problems with disappearing/reappearing user interface components

  We are developing a Flex application for web environment in our society and have stumbled on a rather strange problem. Me and a college of mine have been scratching our heads for several days for this.

  We use navigator tab to switch between different custom components. Custom components all work as they should, but the problem sometimes occurs when you switch from one tab to another. The content of the tab disappears and so does the other tabs, apartment of one selected and the two buttons we are having above the tab navigator. Then the interesting part, all buttons and tabs reappear when I get my mouse on them, not all at once, but when I get my mouse on them. The text that is contained in the tab appears at the time where I change the tab in my browser and come back to enforcement tab setting tab browsers creationPolicy = "all" only sort of fixes the problem the buttons no longer disappear. This does not create a new kind of difficult problem, some of the features other tabs fires a little too early in a sense that they are not necessary at this time to fire, in fact they are not ment to be fired before selecting this particular tab in fact.

  I hope I wasn't too little clear explaining the problem. Does anyone have an idea what would cause the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

  Maybe an invalidateDisplayList() call the browser to tab after a click will set the whiteness.

  Custom components, particularly those written in AS3 which draw and discount isn't like the rest of the Flex Framework seems to cause random white boxes in my experience.
