Interface counters / Support of SNMP

Any chance of one or preferably both before I Flash the router to a firmware more competent?

Rather ridiculous that there is no interface meter and no SNMP server. I prefer to keep stock firmware when it's possible but I need this feature, it is not really a big ask.

Having said that I have a v1 E4200, which already looks like abandonware given he had 6 months since the last update firmware - not amused and not intend to exchange a router performance for those who sacrifice performance for NAS features better.

That's what I did, DD - WRT installed and running fine. If Cisco decides to grace us with an update of firmware for these tasks frankly absolutely basic I consider using again.

Download and run the file again.

Now, go to Device Manager and click the comms controller simple pci who need the driver.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver. Select her browse my computer for driver software method, then at the bottom of the window, let him choose from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

Click on disk and navigate to the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

  • Spatial DB: ORA-13226: interface not supported without a spatial index (but is no index)

Hello, I'm trying to find the solution to this problem for quite a long time, but still could not solve it. I have a table where a column has the value of SDO_GEOMETRY, I filled the table, index about it like:

    CREATE the INDEX Spatial_object_idx ON Spatial_object (geometry) INDEXTYPE IS MDSYS. SPATIAL_INDEX;

then when I run the query

    SELECT s1.id FROM Spatial_object s1

    WHERE s1.valid_to > =? AND s1.valid_to <? AND THERE ARE)

    SELECT s2.id FROM Spatial_object s2 WHERE

    S2.ID = S1.ID AND s2.valid_from = s1.valid_to + 1

    AND SDO_EQUAL (s1.geometry, s2.geometry) = 'TRUE');

I got an error mentioned above, but when I put the SEPARATE statement after SELECT, it is without error.

Could someone explain why this phenomenon occurs? Am I missing something here?

I use jdbc7 on linux and the server is running under oracle 11g.

Thanks a lot for any help

    Can you please try "SDO_EQUAL (s2.geometry, s1.geometry)"?

    SELECT s1.id FROM Spatial_object s1

  • Environment support UEFI HP or environment Support HP Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI)

You have a question. I have a laptop HP 2000-2b19wm. I bought this system. It came with Windows 8. After I got it I have completely got rid of Windows 8 and IMHO set level to Windows 7 Ultimate. I deleted all partitions and let 7 configure the hard disk the way he wanted, got the drivers and so on and so forth. (not worried about security, I can handel most hardware repairs and software patches).

I looked to see if there was a new BIOS available and there was, however, I also noticed that there are two things called environment support UEFI HP and HP Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI) Support environment. I know they have to with the Diagnostics and recovery of a bad BIOS flash.

The question is this. Install HP UEFI Support Environment or environment Support HP Unified Extensible Firmware Interface (UEFI)?

    Thank you.

    Hi @bfldworker ,

    Thank you for your query.

UEFI is preinstalled on your laptop.  It does not reside on the hard drive, so when you have formatted and installed Windows 7, it should not affect it.

  • No SNMP in Blocker support?

Cisco Blocker devices support SNMP monitoring?

We have a blocker B10 that we are very satisfied (chosen during the Barracuda after a head to head comparison), but the only feature missing for us is supported for SNMP monitoring. Well, that and the ability to stop unattended with a UPS of signal distance.

    Am I missing something?

It's has supported SNMP on the blocker is just disabled by default. If you look in the user guide advance provided on the disc that came with the blocker it will show you the steps to using SNMP. Hope this helps!

  • SNMP version 3 version of Pix 515E 7.0?

Can anyone tell if snmp version 3 is supported on any release of the version 7 PIX. And if not, Cisco plans to PIX? I can't find any information about snmp v3 on PIX. the only reference view's switches and routers. your in advance

    Hello

7.0 (1) version adds support for SNMPv2c, offer new services, including counters 64 (useful for packets on Gigabit Ethernet interfaces counters) and support to MIB data transfers in bulk. In addition, Version 7.0 includes SNMPv2 MIB (RFC 1907) and the IF - MIB (RFC 1573 and 2233) and the Cisco IPSec Monitoring MIB Flow, giving visibility full VPN statistical flow tunnel uptime, bytes/packet transferred, and much more.

Answering your question, unfortunately version 3 is not supported.

    It will be useful.

Hi you entered mistakes and cost overruns at the same time

This means that your more using the interface, too inbound, buffers are filled and drops traffic when its maxed out

    It's Cisco response to exceedances

In a small number of cases, the overrun counter can be incremented due to a software fault. However, in the majority of cases, it indicates that the capacity of the interface has been exceeded. Nothing can be done on the router that reports of cost overruns. If possible, the rate at which frames are to come should be controlled at the remote end of the connection. Otherwise, if the number of exceedances is high, the equipment must be upgraded.

  • Satellite M70-340 does support SATA 300 MB/s?

I want to replace the original with MK1237GSX MK6034GSX hard drive. The difference is 150 and 300 MB/s transfer rate. will be mk1237gsx works with my M70?

    Hello

The Satellite M70-340 was delivered with the 60 GB SATA 5400 RPM HARD drive.
I don't think that the speed of the HARD drive could have a bad influence on the compatibility of the HARD drive.

You must only make sure that the size of the HARD drive and the interface are supported!

    Best regards

  • Satellite L850-117 - support SATA III

I have a plan to change my old hard drive with the new SATA III SSD.

I searched Toshiba homepage on spec if it supports SATA III, but it is very difficult to find this kind of information. If I understand correctly, we must support SATA III for the full implementation of the DSS.

The laptop is Toshiba Satellite l850-117, Sandy Bridge (32nm Technology), by Googling it I found a few answers that if I have a Sandy Bridge, I also have SATA III support.

From the BIOS I can only change 'best performance' or 'better life' for HDD/SDD, nothing on the SATA versions.

It's the best spec I found so far

I have USB 3.0 support, I guess that's a good sign, but I want to make sure I get full performance out of it, if spending a lot of money on large SSD.

Can someone give me an advice?

+ The message was edited: broken link has been removed.

    Hello

Why you n t install some diagnostic tools material like Everest Home Edition or another tool like SENECA Sisoft.
The two would be able to provide all the details and all information about the properties of material and pieces of equipment.

The L850 series is equipped with different material parts, but usually the ODD controller and the HARD drive is connected to the chipset (Port of Cougar / Panther point) and the chipset is connected to the processor (Sandy Bridge / Ivy Bridge)

However, in my view and from my own experience, the SATA ODD interface would support 150Mbyte/s max. I don't know about the HARD m drive but I guess it could be 300Mbyte/s (SATA II)

But please share the results provided by one of the tools mentioned.

  • NOR-IMAQdx Intel Pro/1000 driver support

The Readme of NOR-IMAQdx V3.4 document states that:

If you have a gigabit Intel Pro/1000 series NIC Ethernet (NIC), it is recommended to install the High Performance GigE Vision Driver. This will ensure optimized performance and minimal configuration.

Are all the Intel Pro/1000 series supported (GT - PCI, PT-PCIe) cards? Other series Intel cards are also supported. Is the Council of (chip 82574L) CT Intel Giga (PCIe) supported? What is the difference in performance if this driver is not installed?

    Hi John,.

To answer one of your questions, there are many benefits to using the driver of high performance when they are available:

    • Optimized for the data is copied as little as possible with the load low. Pure performance gains are difficult to quantify, because they depend on many conditions. In general, the more packets per second (throughput divided by the size of the packets) and several cameras used, the more the driver gains performance high performance.
    • Optimized for the use of GigE Vision (amount of allocations of memory buffer, frames, packets interrupt settings, etc.). You can change some of these settings in Intel (much more than other providers) drivers, but not all of them, and there is no additional configuration required when you use ours.
    • Works independently of firewall configuration
    • Return of lost or damaged data packets are processed at a level General much weaker with much less latency and fresh
    • Uses frames for GigE Vision only without affecting the rest of the network stack (which allows some jumbo frames on a systemic basis may cause some annoying problems of network)
    • In versions of Windows prior to Vista, several cameras connected to multiple network interfaces could not make good use of the automatic link-local-address. With our High-Performance driver that you can fill multiple ports into a single virtual device that allows you to increase your overall bandwidth as easily as a single port.

Now, regarding the interfaces are supported, we support most of the Pro/1000 series that are and have been widely used. In general, the only we can guarantee are those which is integrated in the maps that NEITHER sells because we can make our own validation on them. Because if this, our driver INF files are confined to specific chipsets that we validated internally. The best way to ensure compatibility would be to get the cards of NOR.

However, ff, you have a copy of IMAQdx installed, you can view the nigevk.inf file (typically in C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\NI - IMAQdx\Staging\NI GigE Vision) to see what PCI IDs are listed in the INF file. PCI IDs are the best I can advise because Intel labelling of products is not always clear what chipset and the revision, the card has on it.

82574L is listed in the INF of our driver currently high performance as PCI ID 0x10D3, so if you have this one even it * must * be supported. I recommend the GT line because 32-bit / 33 Mhz PCI doesn't have the bandwidth to support traffic GigE Vision.

    Hope this helps,

    Eric
