  Hi all

  I was charged with troubleshooting a problem with abandoned packed to and from the virtual machine environment.

  I would like to run high esx in batch mode just to monitor dropped packaged (receipts and transmit), what is the command for this. I don't want to use the switch - is because I get too much information and files are too large.

  Copy the attached file (esxtopnet) into a data store that is accessible from the ESX (i) shell. Use it as a configuration file for esxtop like this:

  ESXTOP b - c/full/path/to/esxtopnet > output.csv

  The configuration file limit the columns displayed for each category (cpu, mem, network etc.) for the attributes that you are interested in.

  As correctly mentioned buxant, batch/Simulation profile values are read as substitutions to the values of the basic profile. Once you have updated a parameter value in the batch, a record for this parameter and corresponding updated values inserted into the INIT_PARAMS_1 table. Demantra engine when run in Batch mode look at INIT_PARAMS_1 and when a record is found, it takes the value of the parameter here. If the parameter does not exist in INIT_PARAMS_1 (which means no ovreride has been done to the value of the Basic setting), then the engine will search it is value in INIT_PARAMS_0 ONLY.

  If in the case only you update BASIC profile, even if this setting already had an update in the profile of BATCH, then engine still will look on the old value profile of BATCH update.

  If you want to watch the value of basic profile of the engine, then you must manually delete the record for this INIT_PARAMS_1 table setting.

  I have PSE12 and you want to edit a photo and apply the same settings to multiple photos using batch processing.  Is this possible?  I really hope so.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you

  You can do the Expert mode batch processing:

  File > process several files

  However, it is limited to some quick bugs or re-sizing, new name, adding text, watermarks etc.

  To copy the settings to change to multiple pictures, you need something like Adobe Lightroom or the Plan of photography ($9.99 pm) that has full Photoshop + Lightroom. You can record your own actions in full Photoshop but not in the elements.

• Check-in jpeg in batch mode

  Hello:

  A "newbie" here.  I performed an action in order to put a watermark on the photos.  When I run the batch, instead of saving the image and passes to the other, it opens invites the image to save a pdf file and I have must choose jpeg from the drop down and save.  I do not have a backup in my action. just installing the watermark.  some how worked the action find a few weeks; What am I doing wrong now?   I use CS4 Extended.

  Maybe if you posted a screenshot of the action or

  Probably, the batch processing dialog box is fixed now different than when your action

  worked.

  If you want to save the image in jpeg format, you can have save as step in the

  end of the action.

  When you use the action to automate > batch, you check the box:

  Action to override the commands "save under".

  As long as you choose a destination folder, the images will be saved in JPEG format in the

  file destination and not in the location that you specified in the action.

• Disable a test socket when executing (Batch Mode)

  We had a model of batch processing with synchronization of batch.   I wonder if it is possible to completely disable one or more of the test socket when running.  I know that the opening screen allows you to choose which sockets are active, but in case something goes astray as the RS-485 communication is inadmissible, I would like to disable one or more at any time during the test.  Thank you in advance for all the ideas come you up with.

• Disqualification Siebel connector Batch mode error and debugging

  To test the matching contact batch process, I followed the guide and created a job template with the settings specified in the virtual library:

  When you submit the work, we get an error. As it is not very descriptive I wanted to know how to debug this error.

  

  I looked in the database intermediate EGQ saw no trace, and also the Disqualification has not given any reference. Is there anywhere in Siebel, which will show the error?

  The most likely cause of the error is a configuration error in the dnd.properties file that configures the connector for Siebel Disqualification.

  Note that for the batch JMX Disqualification server port must be specified in part a of the file. This is not the same as the HTTP port.

• Fireworks CS3 - internal error when save as JPEG and batch mode

  I am currently in difficulty for these 7 days due to this error. I hope someone can help me.
  
  After the upgrade from CS3 Fireworks 8, I'll have the 'internal error' message both if you selected the preview for a JPEG export format (it works OK when the export format is GIF or PNG) and when I work with batch processing.
  
  Everything is OK, if I run fireworks as user 'root' or as a user "adminplus" ("adminplus" is the username of an additional user with administrative privileges that I created for the test).
  
  My operating system Mac OS x 10.5.4 and my computer is a MacBook2, 1 (MacBook with Intel Core 2 Duo 2 GHz with 2 GB of RAM and a brand new 186,31 GB Hitachi journaled HFS + HD with 100 GB free).
  
  I tried many ways to get the valuable differences in library files and privileges (to search many forums, it seems that may be the cause, was also confirmed by the fact that other users works very well) but I don't have any particular differences.
  
  I tried to trash the preferences but the error is still present.
  
  I tried with the temporary main file on Mac OS x with terminal command "stat - x $TMPDIR" checked against the command "id". User and privileges were OK but always the "internal error" was there.
  
  I tried with a simple reinstall for Fireworks CS3 and with a complete reinstallation of more complete CS3 web standard and, in addition, uninstalling and reinstalling everything.
  
  I also tried with 8 Fireworks that was not removed by the upgrade, and it has the same problems.
  
  Can I receive a competent suggestion on how to diagnosis and fix the problem?

  Ok. I solved it!

  Who will have the same problem can ask how I solved. It is not complicated, but it's a long story. I have succeed without a reinstallation of an operating system such as suggested by ADOBE support, in which case none of the suggestions are everywhere, will not work.

  I'll be happy to explain what to do for those who need it.

  I am trying to create a simple Testplan in BatchModel with 4 TestSockets.

  In the testplan is a loop, a loop around a SationGlobal.Dut for 10 times

  Question: Is this StationGlobal copied for all 4 testsockets and is also 4 times in the backgrouodn or the same stationglobals for all testsockets?

  Should I use a table 1 d for the loop variable and use as Index MyIndex from the SocketNumber?

  Changed the StationGlobal in a table with size = number of TestSockets.

  In the testplan write and read of the StationGlobal for help:

  StationGlobal.MyGlobal [RunState.TestSockets.MyIndex]

• Perform the action in batch mode

  Hi all

  OK, I'll try to explain this better than I can.

  That's what I have:

  In a PSD file, I have a 5 x 7, a team and a 3.5 x 5 a child of this team, called a MemoryMate.

  I have an action that will make a > content replace < 3.5 x 5 jpg image. So with dialogue enabled in my action I can 'March' through all children of this one at the time and make a team record under and rename the PSD file.

  Which takes forever!

  What I want to do is:

  Open the MemoryMate.psd file and the PS (CS6) to a folder with all the kids on the team has.

  Run my (a) action to the > content replace < jpg 3.5 x 5, through all the jpg and saving a psd file with the same name as the jpg replaced.

  For example:

  INPUT-FILE >

  001.exe jpg - that is the first child in the folder.

  002 jpg

  003 jpg

  OUTPUT FOLDER >

  001.exe psd - which is the first saved the file psd MemoryMate

  002 psd

  003 psd

  I hope that makes sense for a person. If I can get this to happen, it will save literally hours and hours of work!

  It's a bit late to put an oar in but I would suggest that consider you Variables. Please, watch this video and take into account its possibilities.

  Note that once you have created the template and the text file, the work is done automatically.

• Resxtop with the capture of batch mode VMA 4.1 not opening not in performance monitor

  I created a lot of long hours capture using resxtop with the following command:

  resxtop b - n servername.domain 720--> vmacapture.csv Server

  However, when I add the data to perfmon Source I get:

  "Data Source C:\filename.csv is either invavlid or is not found." System message: the specified log file type has not been installed on this system.

  I finished another small capture earlier, 9 iterations, and this loaded fine.

  I tried to capture several lots, 3 attempts for more than 2 minutes, but all arrive at the same error...

  Any ideas on why it's a failure? I can open the data in excel very well...

  Just talked with your TSE attributed (as you know by now) - we can finish by relying on solutions of workarounds like esxtop localized instances running, until at the bottom of the issue. Currently in comparison, indeed the only difference is a loss to encapsulate each data value and the name of the field in quotation marks. In my opinion, it shouldn't matter when in the CSV format, but it... seems.

  Edit: Think about it, it is a standard to a CSV file, actually. We want to really like the quotes!

• SP U400 - cannot return to the desktop after entering in the mode 'sleep' by closing the lid

  Satellite Pro U400 V-11 I used for a week. I don't know if this is a problem or I did something wrong. My setting of closing the lid is recording mode "Eve" in Vista.

  When I close the lid and open a few minutes later it's ok, I see the password login screen. But if the computer is in "sleep" for a while it does not return to the office when I lift the lid. The screen is black. Fan started working then quiet several times.

  The first three LEDs on the left are green. Keyboard does not respond. And also switch / stop does not work either I press once on or hold it. And only after I unplug the power adapter and press the power, it works. But it restarts the system and Windows could not close correctly the error message is displayed.

  Is this normal or something wrong with the mode 'sleep'?

  I read on some of the similar problems regarding "standby" mode and the black screen.
  Someone suggested to update the BIOS and the display driver

  So I highly recommend it too much
  See the European driver of Toshiba page, choose the model right for laptop and try to update the BIOS, then the display driver.

  Reboot the laptop and see if the problem still occurs.

  I wrote a bunch of data acquisition based on Measuresurement Studio 2012. In the package data can be displayed interactively in 3D (not intensity image) graphics by CW3DGraph activeX component. Because we are a process and take photos every 5 seconds, so the whole process will take a few thousand images. I've implemented IronPython im my c# (Measurement Studio in c#) application and trying to use IronPython script to manage files in batch mode. However, when I try to create the script class, error message reads as:

  "ActiveX control '2afa9f10-0b6a - 11 d 2-a250-00a024d8324d' cannot be instantiated because the current thread is not in a single-threaded apartment.
