Internet Explore crashes. __Recently windows project is also suspended. __

the event log gives the error no. 1002 (application blocking)

Hi Ajay,

I did the following:

I disabled mcfee and the system remains blocked.

I tried Firefox instead of internet Explorer

I ran fixit program and the File Checker

I watched the program solutions and updates installed

I did not clean boot exercise because I'm not confident enough to meddle in things even if I keep a number of things to start (various yahoo live.. etc)

Is there the mileages in upgrade to the latest internet Explorer version and/or installation of essentials of microsoft instead of mcafee?

Any help appreciated more

Ken

    Hi RamonaBrooks,

No, you should not remove installed Windows updates as they are supposed to be there on the computer. In this case, you get low disk space messages, try the following.

Method 1: Run this utility of automated troubleshooting and see if it helps.

I had problems too with IE9 and it's updates... as you say all the other updates work I don't think that the Windows Update the question... is IE itself... IMHO...

For days, I was getting the BSOD and it became progressively worse as the days passed... Now, I have all stable and works very well yet.

If my suggestion for you is what I did... sort the problem at the source the progam in other - IE there is a form of corruption imho.

First download and save IE9 to your download folder make sure you have the correct version, for example English Vista 64-bit

Uninstall the current version... you may have to restart... I suggest you only do it anyway... It is cleaner that way. Then reinstall IE. I suggest that you set up with as few add on the as possible and add them at a later date, as and when you need it, preferably one at a time.

Once you have reinstalled IE and restarted the kickoff of Windows Update If you have not automatically set to run... and I think that it will update the update of security OK.

Good luck - let me know
