  I couldn't find "print > printers marks" dialog box in my version of Acrobat, which is Acrobat Standard XI. However, your response has helped a lot in a search that led me to the answer. Use view > show/hide > navigation components > layers to show the layers pane. I clicked on 'the eye' off to the relevant pages, and the marks have disappeared.

  As I'm editing, I often use the 'home' and 'end' keys on my keyboard extended to the beginning of the sequence, that I'm editing, or to jump to the end (I use the "home" button more often, but I always use 'end' from time to time).

  This behavior works as I expect when I have the window of editing 'active' (by clicking on it). The behavior works even when the program window is active, which is very useful.   Just upgraded to 8 Captivate and for some reason my server any internal messages is no longer work on the web server.  I can test locally the lesson that always points to the Web server and it works.  Can't understand why when it is on the server it does not work.  The ashx handler that manages to post is fully accessible to the web server and DNS solves very well so I can't understand why he doesn't hit the Manager.  I use IIS to host it and a .ashx for managing for results.

  OK, finally solved.  For some reason any run under HTTPS lesson could not publish my results.  As soon as I changed to HTTP the results perfectly. All of this makes sense why I could post locally on the Web server.  Hope this saves someone else 5 days of hell.

  In any case, I found the answer myself by using the process monitor.  The reason for our plugin dest does not work because it has been installed in a subdirectory under the plug-in.  Once I moved the plugin directly under the plug-ins directory, the plug-in has been loaded correctly.

  Process monitor, when you load Acrobat from Outlook, Acrobat tries to enumerate all subdirectories under the plug-in, and it finds the api (for example \sample\sample.api).  But somehow he will attempt to create the file directly under the plugin: C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Acrobat\plug_ins\sample.api and get the error NAME_NOT_FOUND.

  I think you should do this in Acrobat. Go to file/properties/Initial View / Navigation Tab / Bookmarks panel and Page and save the document.
