  I suggest that you manually download Fixit instrument and save the Fixit file on the computer and later do a right click on it and click run as administrator and check if it installs on the computer.

  Open the Web tool Fixit page and click Advanced-download to run on a computer disconnected, or different when you get the prompt to save on the portable device, select desktop as the location to save it.

• TCL EXEC command is not available in the EEM scripts

  Hi all

  I'm writing a script that checks the ip address assigned to an interface (assigned by PPPoE Dialer) verifies a FULL domain name resolution and if the two IP match not retrieve a URL so update a dynamic DNS (I know that there is a support built into IOS for DNS, dynamic but it does not always work and I make sure that I can reach the router remotely).

  The question is when I run the script from the CLI, it seems to work when I save in the infrastructure of the EEM it seems certain command failed

  as exec or using the standard library of http.tcl:

  Is there a limitation? I couldn't find anything, and I know that what works in the TCL CLI interpreter working in the scripts of the EEM.

  Any toughts?

  EEM manages TCL Safe-TCL mode.  It is documented here:

  Exec is not allowed Safe-Tcl.  The right way to do this from EEM is to use the cli EEM library, open an ATS with cli_open, send the commands you want and read the responses using cli_write/cli_read or cli_exec, and then close the CLI if you want using cli_close or leave the end of the script.

  I wrote a very simple script today... Basically, the idea is to use the command cli_run_interactive to EEM cli library extensions. According to this document

• RegExp in the command 'show' in TCL scripts

  I have an EEM applet that runs a command to show with regex that works very well. However, when I converted the applet to TCL, I am having some problems with it. It is throwing an error on the line below:

  TCL seems to be catching the part [^] show command and try a substitution (trying to run "^"as a separate order "). I could surround the show with brackets {} command but then $ip_prefix will not substitute for the value of the variable. Is it possible to run this show command in TCL? Thank you.

  The user owner of the procedure should be given the CREATE TABLE privilege directly, without going through a role. Something like

  GRANT CREATE TABLE TO owner_of_procedure_sp1
  

  Of course, in reality, you would create never a table in a stored procedure.

  By database is Oracle 11 g r1 on Windows Vista. Is this new feature in Oracle 11 g r2 and not in r1. BTW, I tried these command as SYS.

• Unable to take a screenshot

  I'm taking a screenshot, and it refuses to work.

  [If I use the command] + [Shift] + 3 for a full screen grab, or command] + [Shift] + 4 to select a part, nor work.

  All I get is the "thump" sound warning me of an invalid command / typo.

  Open the keyboard system preferences, shortcuts, category of screenshots and make sure that the options are selected, and shortcuts are defined as expected.

• HP15 ab029tx: window update 10 problems should return to 8.1 windows using recovery and come back later

  My computer hp 15ab029tx laptop came pre-installed with win 8.1. I've recently upgraded to win 10. However, after upgrading, I found the following issues. I installed the latest version of the bios and all drivers are up to date on hp site.

  the problems are.

  1. edge flicker browser. Sometimes I use chrome so ok.

  2. autonomy is by 2 hours earlier, that's around 3: 00.

  3. laptop gets very hot. I found coolsense does not. There is no setting of tdp in the power profile. TDP settings was present in windows 8.1.event viewer is full of errors of health active hp, intel dptf, etc.

  I have a laptop HP Dv6 Win7 running and the upgrade of Win10 has been a total disaster.  I restored using Win7 HP recovery media.  I'd rather have a BONE more old where everything works, only a new operating system where things do NOT work.

  As to wait a year, the FREE upgrade expires end of August 2016 - so after that, if you still want to upgrade, you will need to purchase a license - and, unlike with previous versions of OS, MS said nothing about the price for upgrade license, or even if such a license will be available then.

• Agilent U2722A linear voltage ramp

  I am currently writing a LABVIEW VI to interface with an Agilent U2722A. I want to measure current constantly while maximum increase of voltage of 0V to a defined use specifying the step size and no time (a linear scan of tension).

  I downloaded the driver for this device which also includes an example used for output and then take action. My first problem is that when I run this unit VI is to expire. I think that this issue MAY have something to do with the entry "triggered the level". Happened to configure voltage channel VI. I have included the example and the voltage setting channel Sub VI.

  My lack of understanding for the other SubVIs (which are based on being passed SCPI commands by VISA as strings) also prevents me from making progress. Especially the scan configures and configure trigger screws

  Scanner Confgiure takes the values for the number of points and the timestep. I don't know how I'm supposed to make use of this VI. Should I put the values you want, and then use a loop to pass different values to the chain tension set up with each iteration. Also, how is the measured timestep? I need to set up a trigger to measure the time between the points or the scan function takes care of that? I've included the sweep set up VI as the Timestep VI as well.

  Looks like that you've got another error in connection with the IO instrument. Here are some references for this error,

  -420, "request not COMPLETED;

  This error occurs when you addess the instrument to talk and he has nothing to say.

  The most likely causes are:

  1. do not send a query. You must send a valid request to the instrument before talking to talk to him. This is true even of the instruments of measurement, such as the 2001 model. You can not get a reading from 2001 until you send him a request.

  I would like to install the LV 2013 runtime silently. I tried to use the /qb cmd option to install in silent mode (setup.exe/qb), but I get the error "invalid command line parameters. However, if I use setup.exe/r (remove the final reboot) it works. I checked that the /qb option is specified in the help.

  error code 1055 is check "error invalid command reference" the sencond vi (add the image control to the report) that u used in your program and you connect reference than vi. If this resolves your problem return replay.
