Invalidate the session on a login page?

Hello. I am trying to cancel a session if someone knocks at the login page (he always see them as being registered unless they close their browser) I put the jsp attribute to session = false. I also on a unlimited taskflow on my adfc.config.xml. How can I do this?

Thank you!

Hello

This behavior occurs generally if basic authentication is used, in which case go keeps you loggin. If you are using a form based login form, try to redirect the user after the invalidation of the session, so that authentication is verified again

    Yet another problem of universal selector: see + {message identifier: = 4184109} +.

    How to replace the style sheet? I wonder if I change the default style sheet, which also affect other pages, that is not what I want.

    In this case, you can include only the CSS inline, that will get around the issue of the universal selector. It is also recommended to use a semantic HTML element instead of deprecated presentation elements such as < center > and < font >. Assuming that this text is the main heading on the page, use < h1 >:

  • Problem with LOGIN_THROTTLE. COUNTER on the login page

    Hello!

    I have the page of connection (desktop, theme 25) which has been slightly modified by me. I use custom_auth on table mine of users.

    Seems I now work "strange."

    Problem seems to be LOGIN_THROTTLE. METER that shows popup but is not low count (it's freezes with numbers to started number).
    As a result, I can't connect even when the correct credentials.

    By comparing your login to app demo and mine the login page, I saw that in my login page is missing the bunch of js:
    function popupSessionInfo(){var w = open("f?p=4000:34:4600637698482:PAGE:NO:34:F4000_P34_SESSION,F4000_P34_FLOW,F4000_P34_PAGE,FB_FLOW_ID:800543776008,21299,101,21299","winLov","Scrollbars=1,resizable=1,width=700,height=450");if (w.opener == null){w.opener = self;}w.focus();}

    apex.jQuery( document ).ready( function() {
    ...
    until the part that begins with:

    Apex.jQuery( document ).ready( function() {
    that is the same. Part missing is obviously part for gas meter.

    I tried all the browser and they are all the same as a result.

    I study more and discovered that mine, State of Session-> page Protection, for login page shows it's 'Dynamic form' not connect type. I'm sure that I edited the origin and after login page found this recreation (remove old and create the new login page) that somehow seems not to be the login page.
    I'm quite confused because before that this one was't of thing happened because before the introduction of "gas" I had no such a mistake... or I wasn't awre of them.
    :-)

    So, you changed the page of connection somehow, perhaps recreate - and now things go wrong?

    Firstly - if you want to authenticate on your own table, it is much easier to leave the single login page and use a custom authentication scheme.

    Second - if you want the user to land on their own page, I find personally much easier to define a branch that manages that decision-making - perhaps something ruled separately during after authentication.

  • WiFi hotspot redirection to login pages does not

    Hello
    I use Win7 64 bit home on a new laptop. Wireless works fine on the laptop to my home router, hidden SSID and WPA2 etc.

    When in use and about various points of access, I can connect to the network provider without problem - I get the IP address, DNS and gateway via DHCP by default correctly. However, hotspots use page hijacking to redirect the user to a login page to access the internet. This doesn't seem to work, and ive tried everything but another browser. Thus, the icon shows limited access (no internet) for the connection.

    The hotspots are correctly redirected to the login page with an iPhone and a friends XP laptop. I can't find that many mentions of the problem, so maybe it's just my question, but is a facility enough vanilla on the machine, and I tried with AV and FW disabled as a test. I see also THE whole relevant advanced options that seem to block the redirect.

  • Join the Session after 3rd party authentication OAuth

    I use 5 APEX and integrate my application with another 3rd party solution. This 3rd party solution uses OAuth2 for authentication, which has a static redirect_url (a successful authentication post) which cannot be defined in the URL to call. Rather, it is defined as part of their application.

    I know it's confusing, so here is the whole process that happens:

    • Web server is Node.js (Express with Passport for OAuth authentication) makes queries APEX proxies to ADR 3 / Tomcat.
    • The user connects to the application of the APEX and gets a new session ID.
      • ex: f? p = 100:1:20953642103077
    • Once logged in, there are a few JS on Page 1 (P1) that detects whether the user has been authenticated with this 3rd party service (call the 3PS for that matter). It does this by looking at a custom cookie that is set by the web server for Node.js (let's call this 3ps_token).
      • If 3ps_token is null, then it will trigger the process of 3PS OAuth and use is redirected to their site to connect and to grant the appropriate privileges.
      • Once 3PS has granted the privileges, the user will be redirected to a predefined URL which is stored as an attribute in the 3PS area. I can't pass in the URL as a parameter to URL redirection and don't have, so no real way to back the session APEX I was coming.
      • The redirect URL is currently going back to the Node.js, which sets the 3ps_token in a cookie, and then tries to redirect to the APEX and 'join' the existing session. This is where I'm having issues as the URL that I provided is/ords/f? p = 100 (as I don't know the original session).

    How can I join my existing session of APEX (in the example above, 20953642103077)? If the following solution here: login page of APEX 4.1 kills the existing session cookie but this would require a custom authentication which I was hoping to avoid. Christian Neumueller-Oracle made a comment at the bottom of its solution join session is not secure. Is their a best practice because this so?

    Hi Martin,

    I have good news for you, we implemented session to return to the APEX 5. It will allow you to have an APEX URLs without a session id. You must first enable this feature in the Administration of the proceedings (see https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E59726_01/doc.50/e39151/adm_wrkspc002.htm#BABJCGAG) and then at the page or application level. Please consider the implications of security in this article, because to return potentially open your application to XSS attacks from other applications on the same server.

  • 11.1.2.2 OAM: Custom Login Page Timing out until the Timeout of Session value

    Hi all

    We are facing a weird problem in our application in which the custom login page is time in 15 minutes, although the session timeout has been configured as 65 minutes.

    All the world is facing this problem in the past?

    Here are the details -

    WebGate level "Max Session Time" = 60 minutes

    OAM Console - common parameters "Idle Timeout" = 65 mins

    The user will not be used on the page of connection custom for 20-25 minutes and after then tries to connect, it is redirected to an error page that says "system error, please contact your administrator '."

    Strangely, the application for which OAM SSO has been implemented honours timeout values.

    Newspapers -

    Error occurred during the processing of the request.

    Supplemental details java.lang.RuntimeException: authentication request has expired. Eapsed time in min: 79560

    Research already done

    https://support.Oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay?ID=1908294.1 says that this question is but only for the "set timeout". But why in this case it happens before 65 mins!

    Appreciate any help.

    Thank you

    OK after all those hours was finally able to work around this bug as explained weird Oracle in the SR-

    https://support.oracle.com/epmos/faces/DocumentDisplay? ID = 1908294.1

    Add a metatag as following one behindin the login page customized.

        http://host.example.com/public/public.html">

    Http mechanism for a meta tag is described at: http://www.w3schools.com/tags/att_meta_http_equiv.asp

    The value of 890 seconds comes:

    The downtime of 15 minutes set by OAM seconds is:
    -Online (15 * 60 = 900) less (tolerance of 10 seconds time)

    If the user remains now 890 seconds on the custom login page, the browser will bring returns to the public page as defined by URL (http://host.example.com/public/public.html).

    I still have no idea why the custom login page times out after 15 minutes, where Oracle is set this value to "hard",

  • APEX 4.1 Login page kills the existing session cookie

    So far the session cookie enabled us to figure out if the user has already had a session and redirect them to the page they wanted using this session (thanks to a method on the page of connection). Just try APEX 4.1 and it seems that this quick hack will not work, because:
    a. the session cookie has been replaced by the time that the login page is loading
    b. the login page gives no clue as to the destination of the user actually wanted (used to be able to verify OWA_UTIL. GET_CGI_ENV('QUERY_STRING') to see what looked like the URL, but now the URL is simply the login page)

    The problem that I am trying to solve is a job of logging system where users get a lot of e-mail notifications. With the standard behavior of the APEX, they will have to identify each time they click on a link in an e-mail. Because it is a rather unusual behavior for another web application, I used, anyone has any ideas about how to get the APEX to stop killing sessions by substituting the cookie whenever it sees a URL he dislikes? Have tried to use the session 0, but still it beats my cookie.

    Hey Capt egg,

    Nice to see that you studied and found a solution. However, I think that things can be a bit improved. It seems that you already used a custom authentication scheme, it is good, because it allowed to use application session hooks join. However, I think that this does not exactly what you expect.

    During the installation of the session, at the beginning of the Summit "request for treatment, he runs about this code:"

    1 write the session id of the query (parameter to URL or POST) in a global variable
    2 load of metadata application authentication (cookie name, Sentry function, function of invalid session, etc.)

    3. If a global session exists, run "Builtin Cookie Sentry":
    3.1 query the table of the session by the value of the cookie.
    3.2 If the session of the query id matches the overall session id, session information matching.
    3.3. in the case, the session information is incomplete, reset the session variable.

    4. If this is not the login page, run application-specific Sentinel:
    4.1 run the result of the Sentinel session function if a function is defined
    4.2 If the Sentinel returned true function, run the validation function if it is set

    5. "create / reuse Session."
    5.1. If the session variable points to a valid session record, the user to read and other variables of the session save
    5.2 in the case, create a new session not authenticated

    6. write a new cookie in HTTP session if a new session was created

    7. If the sentinels (4) returned false, run 'Invalid Session Manipulation':
    7.1 save deep link in the current page
    7.2 run invalid session function if a function is defined
    7.3 redirect to url "Invalid Session" of authentication

    This is only an overview and implementation details may change. However, I think that it can show major problems with the help of the function of invalid session for Assembly of the session:

    -In (4.1), the engine creates a record of the session and the session id
    -In (6), the engine creates a session cookie
    -Invalid session feature modifies the session global variable id back to the old session, but there is still a newly created session
    -The function of session invalid re-inits the htp buffer and thus cancels (6) high. The connection of the session would create a new session for each request, otherwise.

    My suggestion is that you use a sentinel of session instead. Here is an example:

    function session_joining_sentry return boolean is
      l_cookie_session_id number;
      l_user              APEX_WORKSPACE_SESSIONS.USER_NAME%TYPE;
      l_result            boolean;
      procedure dbg(p_str in varchar2)
      is
      begin
        apex_application.debug('session_joining_sentry: '||p_str);
      end dbg;
    begin
      if APEX_CUSTOM_AUTH.GET_SESSION_ID is not null then
        dbg('apex could already determine session by URL session id and cookie value');
        l_result := true;
      else
        dbg('apex could not determine session by URL session id and cookie value');
        l_cookie_session_id := APEX_CUSTOM_AUTH.GET_SESSION_ID_FROM_COOKIE;

        if l_cookie_session_id is not null then
          dbg('apex found session via cookie. we try to re-use this as our current session id');
          begin
            select user_name
              into l_user
              from APEX_WORKSPACE_SESSIONS
             where apex_session_id = l_cookie_session_id;
            l_result := true;
          exception when NO_DATA_FOUND then
            dbg('session could not be found in session table - sentry fails');
            l_result := false;
          end;

          if l_result then
            dbg('re-using session for user '||l_user);
            APEX_CUSTOM_AUTH.DEFINE_USER_SESSION (
              p_user       => l_user,
              p_session_id => l_cookie_session_id);
          end if;
        else
          dbg('apex could not find the session cookie. sentry fails');
          l_result := false;
        end if;
      end if;

      return l_result;
    end session_joining_sentry;

    Also, it should be noted that the session join is precarious. If you plan to implement this, please make sure that you understand the dangers of the cross-site request forgery:

  • Several variables from the session to the login page

    Hey there, I have to point out that I use ASP for several years and am trying to start a transition to PHP. I'm kinda stuck and I don't know that there is a simple solution for this. After a login page, I go to my home page. When you are at the homepage depending on the status you are given i.e. level 1, 2 etc.

    Dreamweaver gives you the code to start a page and I seem to be able to capture the session variable 'MM_Username' on the start page, but in my setup, that's your name. Of course there could be a lot of 'Fred' out there so you need the info from the first name field. How to capture the session password or create a new session for password, so when I'm filtering the session on the page following I can use several variables as what follows must match the user name, password, address, etc?

    In asp is was easy. I started just a session variable capture since the names of the fields username and password. Like this:

    < % session ("NomUtilisateur1") = request ("username") % >

    < % session ("password1") = request ("pass") % >

    My session would be NomUtilisateur1, password1, and I would like to sort out.

    In PHP how would I do a similar thing? Help please!

    Here's the code generated from Dreamweaver.

    <? PHP
    If (! function_exists ("GetSQLValueString")) {}
    function GetSQLValueString ($theValue, $theType, $theDefinedValue = "", $theNotDefinedValue = "")
    {
    If (via PHP_VERSION < 6) {}
    $theValue = get_magic_quotes_gpc()? stripslashes ($TheValue): $theValue;
    }

    $theValue = function_exists ("mysql_real_escape_string")? mysql_real_escape_string ($TheValue): mysql_escape_string ($theValue);

    Switch ($theType) {}
    case 'text ':
    $theValue = ($theValue! = "")? « " ». $theValue. "" "": "NULL";
    break;
    case "long":
    case "int":

    To make this work it turned out to be very simple. at the login page, I simply used:

    <>

    This is to set session values.

    $_SESSION ['username'] = $_POST ['username'];

    $_SESSION ['pass_word'] = $_POST ["password"];

    ?>

    After all the code from Dreamweaver to start a totally different pair of sessions.

    On the home page, I made the Recordset like this:

    <>
    If (! function_exists ("GetSQLValueString")) {}
    function GetSQLValueString ($theValue, $theType, $theDefinedValue = "", $theNotDefinedValue = "")
    {
    If (via PHP_VERSION< 6)="">
    $theValue = get_magic_quotes_gpc()? stripslashes ($TheValue): $theValue;
    }

    $theValue = function_exists ("mysql_real_escape_string")? mysql_real_escape_string ($TheValue): mysql_escape_string ($theValue);

    Switch ($theType) {}
    case 'text ':
    $theValue = ($theValue! = "")? « " ». $theValue. "" "": "NULL";
    break;
    case "long":
    case "int":
    $theValue = ($theValue! = "")? intval ($TheValue): 'NULL ';
    break;
    case "double":
    $theValue = ($theValue! = "")? doubleVal ($TheValue): 'NULL ';
    break;
    case "date":
    $theValue = ($theValue! = "")? « " ». $theValue. "" "": "NULL";
    break;
    case "set":
    $theValue = ($theValue! = "")? $theDefinedValue: $theNotDefinedValue;
    break;
    }
    Return $theValue;
    }
    }

    $pass_word_rsUSERNAME = "-1";
    If (isset($_SESSION['pass_word'])) {}
    $pass_word_rsUSERNAME = $_SESSION ["pass_word"];
    }
    $user_name_rsUSERNAME = "-1";
    If (isset($_SESSION['user_name'])) {}
    $user_name_rsUSERNAME = $_SESSION ['user_name'];
    }
    @mysql_select_db ($database_toyosupport, $toyosupport);
    $query_rsUSERNAME = sprintf ("" SELECT * WHERE the password = name = %s AND %s entry ", GetSQLValueString ($pass_word_rsUSERNAME,"text"), GetSQLValueString ($user_name_rsUSERNAME,"text")");
    $rsUSERNAME = mysql_query ($query_rsUSERNAME, $toyosupport) or die (mysql_error ());
    $row_rsUSERNAME = mysql_fetch_assoc ($rsUSERNAME);
    $totalRows_rsUSERNAME = mysql_num_rows ($rsUSERNAME);
    session_start();? >

    Although Dreamweaver code struggled a bit he works and seems to be stable. Note that I added a session_start to the top of the page, even if the source code for Dreamweaver does not. This helped.

    I hope this helps.
