  I suspect that they may be always there one of the oldest catalogs.  But passing by them would be very tedious.  Does anyone have another solution?

    • could you please let us know what changes are you making?
  • While pressing alt (windows) / option (mac) key open LR
  • A small window will appear in which you can click on "always load the catalog on startup".
  • You can get rid of most of the old catalogues, but before do you that they do not have something that you might need in the future.
  • You can remove most of the backup catalogs and just keep a couple of them, the most recent.

  Default location for a catalog is the images folder.

  I'm looking to create an AIR application and wanted to use Photoshop & catalyst for design and Builder for development, but I ran into a problem. When I import my file of catalyst (.fxb) in Builder, it goes directly into a web application and does not give me a choice to make a desktop application.

  Isn't this possible? Or y at - it another way to do it for my catalsy file becomes a desktop project (AIR-RIDA) and not a web project (RIA)?

  If you right-click on the project in Flash Builder and go down to the menu to Add/Change project type, you will see an option that says "convert to desktop/Adobe AIR project. Who should do it for you. You just need to make sure to change the root tag of to .

  If you want to use your own chrome and not chrome default that comes with instead of changing the root tag, you will need to go change the app.xml file and make sure to customChrome and visible settings are set correctly.

  In the same folder, some of my file names appear suddenly in blue font and others in black letters. What is the meaning of the different colored fonts?

  Open Windows Explorer.  Click Tools > folders and select the view tab.  Scroll down to "Display encrypted or compressed NTFS files in color" selected?  Change the display of the Explorer WIndows if you change this option?  Generally, the encrypted files are shown in green and compressed files (i.e. zip files) are indicated in blue, while the normal files are represented in black.  They can also be colored differently if they are on a different partition or files have been created while the computer is connected to a different domain.

  I have this problem with my CS6 Illustrator on Windows 7.

  My .ai file contains a work plan with a linked psd file. The PSD (made with Photoshop CS6) is 373 MB size. Before linking the psd file, my file was only one size of 20 MB. My file have became 220 MB size! Why so huge weight if it is only linked psd?

  It is a problem, because I need to connect several other psd files!

  Disable the Compatible PDF file option when you save the file otherwise the image gets embedded in the PDF part.

  Be careful if you want to use the Illustrator file in InDesign or Photoshop, you must activate the PDF compatibility.

  I have adobe cc on a computer mac laptop.

  I worked on a file in photoshop, open the same file in illustrator without linking it and added some text. I returned to photoshop, re-open the case as an AI. doc in ps.

  The whole thing turned black and white! Why? How to solve this problem?

  Turns out I had gray levels in color settings. I don't know why, as I wasn't with her before. If PS put the black and white file as a way to temper tantrums? I have opened the case after making sure was in CMYK mode and it worked just dandy.

• ITunes, why do some of my music crackle?

  I have a Mac Pro (early 2008) with the latest version of OS X and iTunes and recently I got the new album of Celtic Woman and whenever I play any song with pitch high she crackles as an error in the file.  But I opened it in the finder and it plays beautifully.  Why is this? My library has recently increased for songs more 28 000 not to mention the TV shows and movies plus 1.4 TB. Could the size cause it?  If yes how can I fix it?

• Files becomes locked after be moved. Help, please!

  I am running XP Home SP3. I recently had to repair my OS of the OSDisk from my computer, because of an accident of BONE. Almost everything works fine now, except when I move any kind of file or folder (regardless of the means of transport [copy, cut or slip]). After I moved the file or folder, whenever I try to open it, it tells me access is denied, and I can't remove items without using external programs like FileAssassin.

  Although I realize that there are many people who will say "go in safe mode and give yourself permissions... '. "That can allow me to delete THESE files, but it will not solve the problem and allows me to move files here on out.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I would have to question the way that files have been placed on the disk after the accident of the OS.  It is possible that these files are still attached to the owner under the old system.  Even if your user name is the same on the new system, the owner as determined by Windows is based on the SecureID (SID) on the file, that will be different on the two systems.  My first step would be to go to the top of the page directory of these restored files and take possession of them to make sure that your new user has:

  I was looking for recent programs that I added not quite sure of the spelling of the name and intended to go to Program files, but hit ProgramData and I see that some lines are in blue type and others in black?  Am I in trouble? what it means?

• Why there - some of my word to PDF documents

  After install Adobe Acrobat DC some of my Word documents have changed their PDF files and I can't open them.   Error message says file unsupported or damaged.

  Help!   I need these files.

  The documents do not automatically "change" from .docx to .pdf. normally, this requires a conversion you will pay.

  I use variables of data within Photoshop CS5 (Win7) to reproduce a model with several different sources.  With this method, each output THAT PSD has a new title and 3 or 4 new images.  It works great except that, after all this, scripted magic that I manually rename the new batch of files.  The series of files that I am could start with "395.PSD" and continue for, say, 93 files - but Photoshop exits only beginning with '1' or '01.  It would be awesome if I could start with whatever number I need and just PSD start and increment by 1 until the end with a lot.

  Even more - even if I start with "39.PSD" - PShop will save out as ' 391,392,393,394,395,396,397,398,399, (here's the trouble) 3910, 3911, etc. ".

  So what I'm asking is - nobody knows how to say PShop to start numbering with any number I want AND that PShop continues in the order of this number correctly?

  I'm not sure that it is a function of Photoshop or possibly a script from Windows Explorer.  But I would like to get some suggestions from the experts.
