• How to reconcile the description field of the ad to rights in IOM groups

  Hi all

  I reconciled the ad groups that the rights to the IOM and it works perfectly. I have hundreds of rights, but these rights have a blank description field. I would like to synchronize the description of the ad groups rights, but I do not now how to do it.

Is it possible to shorten the length of the text displayed in the description field?   Currently, it is not possible to move the Description field of the page layout, and you cannot change the size of this field. I would recommend that you submit a request for service improvement customer CRM On Demand.

  problem solved. I had to use "provider-__Notes.

• Passing the Description field in workflows "request a catalog article.

  I use the workflow 'Request a catalog article' to request a catalog article that deploys a virtual machine. When I manually request here, I can fill the number of vCPUs, memory, disk, * and * a Description that will appear in the list of items vCAC that helps me identify what serves as the virtual machine.

  When you use the vRO workflow to make the request, I can pass the variables VM - i.e. supplier - VirtualMachine.CPU.Count, etc. - but I can't understand how to move in the Description. I tried the stuff to look at the variables available, but all I get is this list.

  How you change the descriptions is exactly how it should be done. Select the photos in the browser, open the Info Panel with ⌘I, and enter a new label.

  I had a similar problem when running left El Capitan.  Occasionally, Photos would change the description field of all the photos in the album, I was displayed and not only the description of the selected photos. And for the fields title, this would change a title that I had chosen.

  On the Sierra, I noticed that the browser is sometimes loses focus for the cursor. When I use the Trackpad and not by the mouse.  If the Info Panel is opened for a few selected photos, a reckless trackpad gesture can move the focus to another album in the sidebar and the Info Panel passes to this album, and then by typing in a different title or description will show the warning about editing thousands of photos.

• ATV4 shows more the content of the Description tab?

  I do not understand why the AppleTV was to change the display of metadata of film of the 'Description' in the 'Comment' [iTunes 12.3.x details tab] field in the 4th gen AppleTV.  Swear next to the words I uttered when I realized that all my work to edit the "Description" field to show the "year movie and IMDB notes" has been made obsolete, I don't see the logic in their decision.   Hi Zilla,

  Looking at the 'Description' refers to the Description property of each group.  That said, all you need to do is then use the 'TDMS Set Properties.vi"and a cable on behalf of the group you want to set this property to the name of the property (description) and the value you want to store for this property.  Is attached the same vi you mentioned in your post, but I changed to store 'Hello' in a description and 'world' in the other.

  Workstation 8 does not allow to display the Description field when a guest o/s is running.  The description field, to which I am referring appears under the list of devices in the left pane of a window of virtual machine (when the guest o/s does not work).  Workstation 7 has allowed for switching between views when a guest o/s is being run but version 8 does not work.

  I use the description field to show what software is installed on the client.  It was easy to visualize and modify cela while the guest o/s was running but now it seems not available unless the guest o/s is powered down.

  Am I missing something?
