IOM 11gR2PS1 - customization of the catalogue-marking on the category of the Application

Hi all

I'm looking for a 'how to attribute of tag for catalog search. I came across a scenario where I have to search based on attributes other than 'Rôle', 'Instance of Application' and 'Right' are provided as OOTB by synchronization by default form Catalog task catalog.

I discovered that marking capibility of OIM catalogue can be used for customization of the search without making no ADF in JDev or Sandbox UI customization.

But I still haven't how to mark a particular attribute through role administratot catalog.

Please provide any input which is useful for this scenario. Any doc or blog with good screenshot of the same will be very useful to understand.

If I understand your query, you can connect as administrator catalogue identity self-service. Then look for the name of the instance of app/role and click the desired instance role/app. After that, you can add your own label in the user defined Tags text box. Click on apply. You can search with the specific tag you added instead of the name of the app instance/role. It will work. In the API you can also pass this tag as search criteria to identify the specific entity.     I installed the Oracle Fusion Middleware Identity Management 11g R2 Media Pack v8 - 11.1.2.2...  When I created the new instance of the application, I don't see this case in the catalog. I found a similar question in the Metalink (Doc ID 1624482.1), but a workaround described it does not work for me. Workaround does not work for me is: the value "Update Date" in 'Task catalog synchronization' last value and run the job again.

    In the version 11.1.2.1 it woks fine.

    Please, can someone help me solve this problem?

    my colleague and I, we found a solution.

    Looks like the Sun Java System Directory Connector is not supported in the version 11.1.2.2 IOM or the bug is there. I thing it's a bug! IOM 11.1.2.2 uses more SQL select / insert when catalog synchronization task.

    The problem is that the object (object type?) of the connector SJSD has the value OBJ_TRUSTED_SOURCE in the table OBJ is NULL but query catalog synchronization expected value 0 or 1.

    (Environment: vCenter and ESXi 10 5.1 hosts running Build #3070626)

    We have a model 2012R2 and a file specification of customization that allows us to deploy the VMs 2012R2 server. It worked well for a while. After the Christmas break, it seems more work correctly and we havn't knowingly changed anything to cause this. We have fixed our ESXi hosts Build #3070626 October 6, but have deployed VMs of model since, without problem.

    We have all staged for the VM in advance (IE AD entry of objects and DNS). And then powered the deployed virtual computer, sysprep runs, but does not seem to apply settings in the customization file (IE rename the virtual computer, set the Admin password, join the domain etc.). If feed us the cycle of the VM, sysprep is running again, but even once, does nothing.

    I have attached the contents of my file guestcust.log of a computer deployed virtual (see below), but I do not see the clues about the problem. I thought initially the error on the first line was important, until I've found it is also present on the virtual machines that have been successfully deployed from this template in the past, so it's maybe a Kipper.

    Does anyone have advice for troubleshooting this?

    These buttons are not in the drop-down to 'Add' Palette, they are on the Navigation toolbar and must be "moved".
    The buttons Stop and reload should appear between the address bar and the search bar when customize is open, and the home button should appear to the right of the search bar.

    I am working on a custom for Teststand application user interface and I want to give the user the ability to edit files in sequence using a simplified subset of the predefined types step.  I based user interface custom off the Labview FullOI example in the teststand 4.2 folder.

    I found the context menu item 'Customize' out of the palette of insertion and who seems to get most of what I'm looking for (hiding like IVI and synchronization of files and the individual steps as the FTP files and call executable), but what I really want to know, is if I can remove it to the different symbols of 'top' that choose between adapters.  I wish that the customer must only see Labview and none and RID where hide the CVI, C/C++ DLL, .NET and ActiveX.

    Where, moreover, are the options that you set in the menu customize stored user interface custom compared to the sequence editor own right?  I want to make sure that I have a good list of all of my modified files I create a CD of deployment of work later on the road.  I'm assuming that to change the visible categories in the interface custom user won't change their visibility in the application of the sequence editor.

    Personalization step insert palette changes affect the sequence editor and the user interface. The settings are stored in testexec.ini in the cfg directory.

    You can hide the adapters using the card configuration window in the config menu

    You can simply keep separate versions of your testexec.ini, one for when you want the customizations and the other for when you don't have, assuming that you do not use the machine even for both. If you use the same machine for both you can implement some sort of automated way of switching on which version of the file that you are using.

    I have a requirement to form customization in the form of orders. Form problems have already 99 customizations. After entering my new customization, I downloaded the ldt with the following commands:

    I saw all the customizations are downloaed in the ldt, but when I try to download on another instance, it downloads only 5 / 100 customization. Download the command is:

    FNDLOAD apps / $password 0 DOWNLOAD $FND_TOP/patch/115/import/affrmcus.lct XX_OEXOEORD.ldt - WARNING = YES UPLOAD_MODE = REPLACE CUSTOM_MODE = FORCE

    Some random sequences (such as 9, 40, 80, 99 and 100) got downloaded.

    We have at disposal of the IOM to multiple Active Directory domains. To do this, we installed a connector AD, Multiple Instances of the Application of several Instances of IT resources, while using one and the same resource object and form.     My requirement is when a user customizes a page and re - called leave the same browser or browser; the custom page must be provided to them. Also when the URL is called from a different machine, design time page should appear (not the one to measure) and a separate customization should be allowed on this machine. that is, each machine to their respective customization.


    I created an application that has the class UserCC customization in MDS. I run my application of Jdev and customize it. Then when I call the URL from another browser, it shows the page design time and not the custom. If I invoke it on a different machine , it displays the page of time to design as expected.


    I've tried including the customization of SiteCC class in MDS as well as the UserCC. This time on the execution of the page, it displays the previously custom page by default and no time to design page. It also shows the custom page on the appeal of an another machine or other browser URL.


    Steps to create the application-

    1. MDS allowing between sessions

    2 configured adf - config.xml

    ADF - open config.xml -> Configuration MDS -> added UserCC & SiteCC.

    3 defined the elements and attributes that are get persistent store of MDS.

    I'll go with you step by step (it's what I've done in a ADF applications I have):

    1 - my ADF Application use custom security (not use the ADF security). After the user successfully connecting I will store user id in the variable in the scope of session (the name of the variable is "userId").

    2. to activate SDM, you must configure 3 things:

    -Database

    -Weblogic Standalone

    -ADF Application

    3. for the database, you must configure the remote on the database and create user db DEV_MDS (refer to Sameh Nassar: MDS apply to Oracle ADF Application)

    4. for stand-alone weblogic, you must open em and configure MDS in the weblogic (refer to Sameh Nassar: MDS apply to Oracle ADF Application)

    5. for the Application-level configuration follow these print screens:

    The ViewController project properties:

    Create a new class MyUserCC extends SiteCC as:

    --> Descriptors application resources--> ADF META_INF--> adf-config. XML

    5. deploy the application. But you have only 2 ways to deploy the application:

    -From direct JDeveloper:

    Create war and ear files

    * Set connection of Server Application for weblogic (main Menu-->--> Application Server Browser view)

    * Menu select application--> deployment--> yourEar file--> deploy to the application server--> select the server

    * MDS window enter any name as the name of the partition (but if you redeploy the application again, you must enter the same partition name that you added the first time to keep the user's changes)

    -Second way you can use to deploy the application comes from em

    * Em open (http://serverIp:7001 / em)

    * Expand Weblogic domain--> right click--> application deployment

    A step is to select the MDS repository and enter the name of the partition

    6-test you request. Sign in with the user "user1" hide certain columns, collapse to any component reducible logout then login again with the id "User1", you should see the Exchange user. Disconnect and connect with the user "user2", you should not see the changes of the id "User1".

    Customization of the user (SDM) does not care the security of applications. You can also apply to the MDS in your ADF application if you use the ADF security or custom security. The main idea is the class of customization (like MyUserCC) has the method call getValue this method should return the user name. When the user login stores the user id in the session and the method getValue returns the user session ID as:
