IOM approvals pending

I have an IMO test the configuration of the environment and try to work with Workflows and approvals. My hostname to test environment is iam.localdomain. When I click on the pending approval, it opens a window with the IP address in the address bar, but the inner window trying to load iam.localdomain.

I've added iam.localdomain to my hosts file and can it ping, but again, the window don't resolve and does not load the approval.

Where can I change the configuration to use the IP address instead of the host name?

Thank you.

It is best to use the host name only. If you want the IP address then make changes to the config.xml file, which will be the entry with your host name, change it to an ipaddress. You can find it in /servers/oimserver/config

Kind regards

    I am trying to add the product description of the requested item to the model of message that is sent to the approver of the User Manager/machine. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do that? Currently, the e-mail template is associated with the PWOHelperPWO table and calls the script VI_ITShopOrderDetail.

    Hello

    to add the description of the product to the e-mail template, you must add the text depending on where you want the description appear in the mail:

    $FK (UID_PersonWantsOrg). FK (UID_Org). FK (UID_AccProduct). Description$

    You must copy the original mail template "Request for the IT Shop - permission" If you don't have it already.

  • IOM Lotus Notes target reconciliation - Recon events assigned to the user

    Hello

    I have configured the Lotus Notes in IOM connector and I executed the reconciliation of the target for a certain user exists in Lotus Notes, which does not exist in the IOM. During reconciliation, a reconciliation event is created indicating he was assigned to the XELSYSADM user. The next step, I would like to perform is the creation of this user to the IOM, so I opened the IOM system administrator and I connect you as the user XELSYSADM. At this point I opens task list and search for approvals pending or open tasks associated with this event of reconciliation, but there aren't any. Can anyone help? How can I fill this event of reconciliation? How can I create this user?

    Thank you very much in advance

    If you want that for no match found, he should go to XELSYSADM then, it must decide what to do whther that the user should be created or not. Then, you can simply run Trusted Recon and change the rule of no match to assigned to XELSYSADM.

    Whenever there is no match then he attributes to XELSYSADM then XELSYSADM can create user if he wants to with the help of the button to create a user.

    But it has a disadvantage as users of Xellerate is used everywhere when we talk about Trsuted Recon, then it will change the rule for scope adapter. You can create dummy resource for recon trust with certain fields even as Xellerate users and return this RO in the HS task attribute. You are finished with your condition.

    Issue2

    -Each user is a member of ALL_USERS and menu items, list of tasks and my resources are assigned to ALL_USERS. Now, you may not delete any group ALL_USERS of user form. If these objects will always be visible. And by far, they are also required for normal operations of IOM. Then IOM gives them by default.

    Note: If necessary, then delete these ALL_USERS Group menu items. But then none of the users who will see during the normal connection. And I have not tested.

    And to help the menu it is hardcoded in the action class, so could not remove without changing the classes of the user interface, such as told by VM.

  • BPEL human task Notification Email subject

    Hello

    I use SOA11.1.1.5, and I'm working on integration with the IOM for the approval workflow. I have question about notifications in the human task that is pending approval. I am able to edit the body of the email according to my needs, but I'm not able to change the subject of the e-mail. Currently, it is the message subject as ' Action required: approval 'then I want it to be something like' IOM: approval pending - < xxxx > < xxxx > task (request ID: < xxx >)'. All the "xxx" above is dynamic values that are in the payload, and I can use them to build the subject, but just that I do not see any place in the "Notifications" menu in the human task.
    Any idea anyone?

    In fact, I was able to make it work, but never had to post the answer. But just in case someone comes back looking for it, the solution of my notes:

    Workflow supports header customizations via "WorkflowCustomClasspathURL"
    The customized resource bundles can be packaged as a jar file and referred from WorkflowCustomClasspathURL.

    Follow the steps below to customize the EMAIL headers:

    1. Navigate to MW_HOME/Oracle_SOA1/soa/modules/oracle.soa.workflow_11.1.1
    2. From the library bpm-services.jar extract the following directory to a local location:
    oracle/bpel/services/workflow/resource
    Note:
    ----
    i. The reason, we extract these resource bundles from the SOA directory is to be sure that we have the latest properties.
    ii. Please make sure that the directory structure is maintained in the extracted folder

    3. Delete the class file i18NUtil.class from the extracted directory

    4. Make the following modifications in WorkflowLabels.properties
    a. To customize "Action Required"
    TASK_VIEW_CONTEXT_ASSIGNEE_ASSIGNED=Action Required
    to
    TASK_VIEW_CONTEXT_ASSIGNEE_ASSIGNED=Customized Action Required
    b. To customize "Routed"
    TASK_VIEW_CONTEXT_ROUTED=Routed
    to
    TASK_VIEW_CONTEXT_ROUTED=Action Required
    c. To customize "Completed to Approved" and "Completed to Rejected"
    Add
    TASK_VIEW_CONTEXT_ASSIGNEE_APPROVE=Approved
    TASK_VIEW_CONTEXT_ASSIGNEE_REJECT=Rejected

    5. Please repeat the procedure for any other languages by editing the appropriate translated WorkflowLabels_**.properties files.

    6. Zip back the entire folder into a jar file (say , customizedbundle.jar)

    7. The 'WorkflowCustomClasspathURL' parameter can be configured from the Enterprise Manager SOA Console.
    a. Expand SOA
    b. Right Click on soa-infra
    c. Go to Administration - System MBean Broswer
    d. Go to the following mbean:
    Application Defined MBeans
    - oracle.as.soainfra.config
    - Server:
    - WorkflowConfig
    - human-workflow
    - WorkflowCustomClasspathURL
    e. Provide the path to customizedbundle.jar
    => file:///{path_to_customizedbundle.jar}
    f. Click Apply
    Note. Edit WorkflowCustomClasspathURL for each SOA Managed Server if you are using a SOA Cluste.

    8. Verify that the email subject contains the intended changes.

  • IOM Admin group users unable to see pending request in IOM

    Hello
    I created a group admin in IOM using user group option. I assigned 2 users of IOM in this group. Tere are a pending request that must be approved by my assigned users. However when I do connect on with assgned users, don't see no no items awaiting approval here.

    But I could even ask when I connect to IOM help user xlsysadm.

    HOS the affected user might see the pending approval request?

    Thanks for your help.

    On your tasks of commissioning, if you go to the assignment tab, you must set the type of transfer to the Group and then set the group name as your RACF one you created. That's how the group is assigned to a task.

  • Event handlers 11gR2PS3 IOM raises but does not commit any changes

    Hello

    We have developed a few EventHandlers that triggers events RoleUser (MODIFY, CREATE, DELETE). An eventHandler does the following:
    -Gets the role that have been added to a user
    -Detects the role information
    -Updates the user with the role to some UDF information

    This feature works fine on its own when only an EventHandler is defined - there is not when having several of the handlers defined in the same time. This seems very strange for us, as some features do not work when this unfortunate error occurs.

    These are the ones we have now:

    Newspapers are populated and APPARENTLY the IOM user is updated (populated UDF and our own newspapers and oracle logs shows that the user object is updated [using the UserManager]), but when you look in the database, nothing happens. No update after all the UDF. It's quite strange and we do not quite understand the EventHandlers point if they cannot live together like that...

    Anyone who has experienced similar problems? Its quite frustrating and chasing a fake bug as it's pretty boring.

    Kind regards
    Vegard

    EIS,

    This has been resolved now. It seems to be related to this Bug:

    https://support.Oracle.com/epmos/faces/BugDisplay?_afrLoop=544812021641634&parent=SrDetailText&SourceID=3-11573477441&ID=11804355&_afrWindowMode=0&_adf.CTRL-State=lmefs64q2_81

    As indicated in the bug, a new orchestration runs and causing the initial EventHandler that triggered, say UserManager.modify (), to stall PENDING - even if there is nothing to be waiting on. The fix pertains to adding the following lines of code:

    try {
    ContextManager. pushContext (role.getKey (), ContextManager.ContextTypes. ADMIN, OimContextProperties. ( ROLE_GRANT) ;
    roleManager.updateRoleGrant (role.getKey (), long of . toString(user.getKey ()), attributes);
    } catch (ValidationFailedException |) NoSuchRoleGrantException | RoleGrantUpdateException e) {}

    ...
    } { finally
    ContextManager. popContext ();
    }

  • IOM 11 GR 2 PS2: 404 error trying to open the task detail taskflow

    Hi all

    recently, I upgraded 11.1.2.0.13 IOM (BP13 11 GR 2) version for 11.1.2.2.1 a (11 GR 2 PS2 BP1).

    In the old environment, I have developed a composite SOA custom for the approval of the application, and he had a custom task detail taskflow we use for email notification.

    After IOM upgrade, custom composite SOA and custom Office retail taskflow work together, but try opening the datails of the IOM task waiting for approval, I get a 404 error.

    Hi all

    in the tab Administration ApprovalTask, change of parameter 'HTTP Port' at the port of IOM and "URI" to /identity/faces/adf.task-flow?_id=ApprovalTask_TaskFlow&_document=WEB-INF/ApprovalTask_TaskFlow.xml, I'm able to open pending the approval of the work detail page of IOM.

  • IOM 11.1.2.2.0 Email Notification to any person with a specific role

    Hi all

    I created notifications sent to a user and Manager by using event handlers in the IOM 11.1.2.2.0, but I met a new use case. I send out notifications to an entire group (100 users) who all have the role of approver. This notification will be be telling them they have a pending approval.

    These notifications will be sent to them at a stage 2 or 3 multi-stage. So when a person of the 1st stage approves the request notifications will be sent to everyone with the role of approver for the 2nd multi-stage procedure. The notification will be those that have the role of approver to say they have a pending request. It is best to do SOA or IOM and what is the approach needed to make it from one of those who? As I said I have never sent notifications to a single user not a group.

    If you want more information, or for me to elaborate further please let me know.

    Thank you

    Here I am not unfortunately

    You can insert some Java tasks in your BPEL process for sure (to use the IOM API to get a list of users in a role). You can also call the IOM SPML web service, if it is enabled for the same purpose. I think the real gurus can help you with that

  • Composite of JDeveloper 11.1.1.5 SOA is not recognized by the IOM 11.1.1.5

    Hello everyone

    I'm a workflow through JDeveloper SOA deployment. I've created a connection to weblogic and deployment of the workflow as a new version after you disable the old version using ant scripts. Now, after the deployment of workflow, I register this new version with the IOM, the use of ant scripts - "ant f registerworkflows - mp.xml register" and the building is successful (I give the correct settings in the properties file). After this, I also activate the new version.

    Now the problem is that IOM 11.1.1.5 is not recognizing the new version of the workflow and is always looking for the old workflow as seen in the journal of the oim_server1.out-

    < oracle.iam.platform.workflowservice > < ARA-2010006 > < there is no valid definition with the name of definition by default/ResourceSerialApproval! 2.1 >

    < error > < oracle.iam.request.impl > < ARA-2050014 > < a mistake occurred by initiating approvals for request 674. Corresponding error message is there is no valid definition with the name of definition by default/ResourceSerialApproval! 2.1 >

    Note: My new workflow version is 2.5

    Can anyone sugest what goes wrong, how do I do the IOM hired the new version of the workflow?

    Help, please

    Thank you

    Have you checked EM and you are able to see new and old composite versions?

    How about the approval of IOM policy? You update to install the latest version of the composite?

  • Missing pending approval on navigator for user xelsysadm

    Hello

    I finished installing IOM and checking my installation.  I followed the documentation to create a user and login as a user to make a change on the user's profile.  A request has been successfully created.

    I've logged in as xelsysadm and could not see a "pending approval" to demand according to the doc.

    However, I could see a "Inbox", just under the House.  When I clicked on Inbox, I could access the application and "approve, reject, claim."

    Is this correct?  I don't have a tab pending approval under the application.   I wanted to just make sure that my installation was ok.  I'm on 11.1.2.1.0.

    Thank you

    Khanh

    There is nothing wrong in your installation.

    There is no tab "Pending approval" in 11.1.2.1.0 (11GR2PS1).

    You can approve or reject requests via the "Inbox" tab

    Hope it will be useful,

    Thank you
