• In the control panel missing folder options

  After you have reinstalled Windows 7 x 64 system recovery, I went to control panel to set up single click.  Initially the Folder Options icon was available and I put in place.  Then I added a new user and noticed that the icon was not available in the new desktop Panel.  It has also disappeared from the control panel of the original user.  What is that all about, and how do I access Folder Options.  I went to help and support from the Start button and entered in Folder Options - he sent me to a help page which included a link "Click here to access Folder Options."   Do you mean, how do you get pictures containing child 'photography' to display keywords, but not the photos containing the keyword "photography"?  If that's what you want:

  In the library filter bar metadata Explorer, add the keyword column.  Expand the parent keyword "photography".  Click on the first keyword of the child and shift + click on the key word of the last child, so that all the keywords under "photography" are selected.  All the photos containing the child keywords of "photography" show now, but no photos containing "photography":

• Security tab and the sharing of the missing properties

  When you click with the right button on the properties of a folder, Security tab is no longer available, sharing is not available too. When I try to use share a lock appears. The only way I can share a folder is via the Control Panel administrative tools.

  Running Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3, logged on as administrator.

  Having problems connecting to a shared printer on this system and strives to verify permissions.

  When I go to properties of the printer, there is no security tab.

  Same situation when I try to check the Permissions on the files.

  Why the Security tab is not visible.

  The most likely cause is that the Simple file sharing is enabled.  The Security tab appears only if simple file sharing is disabled.

  In the case of the tab security is missing for the files, the tab appears only if the drive that the file is on a been formatted to NTFS. (No security for FAT volumes tab).

  Another way to check the permissions of file is to use the command "cacls" from a command prompt window.

• JPEG image is displayed in the selected image files folder

  When the discovery of the computer and selecting the image file folder - I use to get the small real individual images of each image in the folder without having to enter in the Windows Photo Gallery.  Now, I have only an icon, the same as that for each of the images and the only way I can see that the actual image is to select a specific icon and hope that is the image I'm looking for.  Can someone tell me how I can get all the individual photos in the folder of image file to display when I select that folder?

  I first suggest you to change the display of the photo icons folder type medium or large icons and check if that helps.

  To do this, follow these steps:

  Open the photo folder. Click view > select icons medium or large icons.

  Make sure that default programs > associate a file or protocol type with a program, file types .bmp, .ico, DIBs, .jfif, .jpeg, .jpe, .png, .png, .tiff, .tif, .wdp file names must have the default program like Windows Photo Gallery.

  Otherwise, select the type of file name, click on change program and browse to choose as default Windows Photo Gallery.

  Additionally, set the global folder options

  To specify the global settings that apply to all folders, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Folder Options.
  2. On the general tab, click the options you want.
  3. In the view tab, click the options you want.
  4. Click OK.

  Note To restore the default settings for all folders, click restore defaults on the general tab or on the view tab.

  Use the same display settings for all folders

  You can apply the same view settings to all folders on your computer. You cannot apply the same view settings for all folders, images icons, toolbar settings or tasks folder. To apply the same view settings to all folders, follow these steps:

  1. Locate and open the folder which includes the display setting you want to use for all folders.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options.
  3. On the view tab, click apply to all folders.
  4. Click Yes, and then click OK.

  Note To reset all folders to the default display settings, repeat these steps, but click reset all folders in step 3.

  Yes, I just tested this thing out in 11.1.1.5. You will find more details below.

  1. create a user "BIConsumer" sample.
  2. connected on the BI server.
  3 sailed to the catalogue and click on New
  4. I was able to get only two options "Report job" and "Action Intelligence."

  To provide privileges,
  1. connected to Server BI as BIAdministrator.
  2 sailed to Administration-> Manage-> catalogue privileges.
  3. in view of the explicit permissions for "BIConsumer" to create folders and "my folders and dashboard.

  To check,
  1. connected to the BI as "BIConsumer" user server.
  2. now, in the catalogue saw "New folder" option under "my folders."

  For further analysis, can you please check the roles of this particular user is having? You can click on the user name in the upper right corner-> my account-> roles and groups of catalog.
