IOS 10 fingerprints failed

air of the iPad 2 and I've just updated to ios10

It cannot be used and set up new digital footprint to be the password, as I already take a lot.

It shows "unable to complete touchID.

How can I solve this problem?

Hello Muse2559,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. It is my understanding that after updating to iOS 10, you are unable to use Touch ID on your iPad. I know I can use this guard your iPad secure and makes it easier to access your content. I'm here to help.

Please, try the following steps and test Touch ID after each step.

  1. Make sure you have the latest version of iOS.
  2. Make sure that your fingers and the Home button are clean and dry. 1 for Home button, use a clean, lint cloth to wipe off any dirt or debris.
  3. Your finger should completely cover the Home button, touch the surrounding metal ring. Contact ID is scanning, you should not type too fast or move your finger.
  4. If you use a case or a protective screen, make sure that it does not cover the Home button or the surrounding ring.
  5. Go to settings > Touch ID & password and make sure the Unlock iPhone or iTunes and App Store is on and that you have entered one or more fingerprints.
  6. Try to register another finger.
  7. If you cannot register your finger, take your camera to a store Apple Store or Apple authorized service provideror Contact the Apple Support.

Long story short : iPhone 6, I downloaded iOS 9,3/9.3.1 of fingerprint scanner stopped working the same day.  Apple refuses to acknowledge the update of iOS could have abandoned my scanner.

I downloaded the update from iOS9.3 about a week ago.  That day and all the days after, my phone turns off randomly several times (forcing me to restart it).  In addition, the same day of the 9.3 iOS update, the fingerprint reader has stopped working.  I'm very well on my phone so I thought it must be a problem of update.  I went into settings/privacy, trying to set up the scanning of fingerprints and it wouldn't let me put a new stamp in and jumping right to a screen "Fingerprint has failed."  A few days later, I downloaded the iOS 9.3.1 update (hoping it might solve my problem), and he did not.  In fact, the 9.3.1 was unable to completely download update and forced me to resort to reinstall a backup.

Later, I went into the Apple Store, and they said that an update could never do that to my phone, and my phone screen needs to be replaced.  Then, after insisting to ask a co-worker for a second opinion, she came back and said she talked to 3 different employees at the Genius Bar, and that the update would not have abandoned my fingerprint reader.  Then she said I have to buy a new phone, and they couldn't fix it.  If I had not been a loyal customer of Apple, then I would have thought for sure they were trying to get just upgrade me to the next model.  Has anyone else encountered this problem?

No, upgrade 9.3 of the day, he was released, no problem with not touch id, same with 9.3.1 put on daily basis, he was released and have no problem with my contact id.

  • New IOS 9.3 fails to activate on ipad 2

9.3 installed IOS fails to activate on IPad 2 - hang up the system?

    It is a known problem/bug.

Apple has, officially, recognized and acknowledged this problem with difficulties with some models of iPad activation server and have stated that they are working on this issue and it will be resolved as soon as possible.

    I hope more early.

It mainly affects the iPad models 2, but iPad 3, 4 and 1 st Gen what ipad mini are affected, as well.

There are workarounds, but, unfortunately, they do not work for all concerned iDevice.

This is clearly a problem/issue Apple that they have time to sort and resolve.

Latest news of Apple posted, incredibly, ELSEWHERE other than on Apple own site Web/community technical forums.

Apparently Apple has stopped now iOS 9.3 updates due to activation server more locking problems.

Apple stop updates iOS 9.3 for older iDevices due to activation server locking problems more and more.

  • iOS Application 'A' failed to install - Air 3.0

I have the most difficult time to get iOS apps to install on my iPhone.  Whenever I build my application it tries to install it on the device before returning to say "unable to install" on the phone.

I tried all code related questions and began a new project Hello World with a label in him withdrawing.  I managed to get to install once, but then it failed after each time.

NOTE: I use it on a windows machine, as I have no funding to buy a mac box

Here are the steps I took:

1 has received a request from OpenSSL cert

2 added demand on the supply Portal

    3 downloaded real cert

4 use OpenSSL to convert the cert for one. PEM

5 use OpenSSL to convert the. PEM to one. P12

6 added my UDID device on the portal of supply

7 added my id of the application on the portal of supply

8A obtained a configuration file for that Setup

9 built my application using the configuration file and cert

10 copied the file of configuration on iTunes

    11. copy of the application to iTunes

12 sync the phone, it tries to install, then the phone States 'HelloWorld impossible to install' and removes the icon on the desktop

I have no idea what I'm doing wrong here.  I'll try with my mac of collaborators to build instead a cert on his machine and use that, but I doubt that the problem will be solved.

I have not touched anything in the descriptor of the application at all, with the exception of putting applicationId on my application on the portal to supply profile (as it won't build without it)

    Problem solved.

Turn, with the deployment of the iOS, you cannot use incorporate data that are stored in the src folder.  (i.e. If you have a GFX file or the fonts in the src directory or a sub package that allows you to embed data into your application, move all outsid of data in your 'src' folder in its own folder apart from that rather instead.)  Tags embed just needs to be updated to point to the correct location, but iOS will not let you install the application on the device in this scenario.

After 3 restarts the appliance, do not take account of iOS configuration and verify the credentials whenever I took the unit off Wi - Fi and do the same steps on my sprint 3G network, and it allowed me to save the account and continue to use it. However each time by Wi - Fi (i.e. through the T1 company) never shown backup option and the installation program would turn the animated icon iOS because he failed on a minute then dump me back on without warning, no error account creation page and without evidence other than the account never showed up.

When it is run on the simulator of the Air, it works very well as expectedand the file is successfully downloaded to the server. But when run on iOS devices (in my case, iPad), as I explained at the beginning, no event on the file upload handler is executed and not the http request has even hit the server. So I think that the problem may come from the client side.

During my attempt to solve the problem, I found something complicated about this problem on iOS7. In other words, if you call the URLLoader.load method (although the URLLoader.load points to an address non-existed) before calling the File.upload method, the File.upload will work as expected on iOS7. Specifically, when the above OnTrickyButtonPressed method is run before the OnUploadButtonPressedmethod, File.upload will succeed on iOS7. But this only happens on iOS7. On iOS8, File.upload still refuses to work, regardless of knowing if the URLLoader.load is executed before.

I think in my case, the problem is not the problem of sandbox or a session of Firefox problem described in the two links below, because not even a http request hit the side server. It seems that the Air SDK for iOS comes to fail send the http reason request any.

    http://StackOverflow.com/questions/5967382/Flex-4-FileReference-issues-with-Firefox

    http://StackOverflow.com/questions/351258/how-do-i-make-Flex-file-upload-work-on-Firefox-a nd-safari

To make my problem clear, I list my environment below:

    • Development environment: Windows7 (64-bit) / Mac os 10.9.4 (tested on both OS platforms.)
    • IDE: Flash Builder 4.7
    • Air SDK: 3.8 / 16.0.0 (after that I have updated to the latest Air SDK 16.0.0, problem persists.)
    • Application server: Tomcat7 + spring

Finally, I want to mention that download the file using URLLoader.load isn't an option in my case because I want to download large files in the future, which cannot be addressed with the URLLoader.load.

I struggled with this for days. If I really appreciate it if anyone has an idea about this.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Projector does not? Try to kill background apps

Spotlight on my iPhone Chess 6 were driving me crazy. About half the time Spotlight returns no results.

After much trial and error I found that killing a background app, Reeder, 3 (reeder.app) solved the problem. I don't think it's a bug of Reeder, I think it's just that my habits of the user with power supply/Reeder are facing a set of 9.x bugs related to the management of background applications. I had already turned off "Background App Refresh" and Spotlight indexing most of the applications, but I still had to hit kill the background application.

I wrote my results here: http://tech.kateva.org/2016/01/ios-9-spotlight-fail-fixed-by-killing.html.

This may get fixed to the 9.3, but in the meantime experiment with updated death of background apps - even if you do not use Reeder. You can find one or two that are particularly problematic.

This seems quite as if the problem is a bug with Reeder not closing properly in the background. Most of these 'background apps' do not run in the background. They are used most recently.

  • Quirk of QCC compilation.

    Hello

I'm trying to compile code that compiles well on PC/iOS/Android and fails with QCC in the IDE.

Is it because of the thought of QCC my. H (uppercase H) files must be compiled in C rather than C++?

If so how to change the compiler to recognize. CPP and. H as C++ files?

    Thank you very much

Thanks for the reply. It is a base of code with hundreds of files, to change all the instances of the code isn't really an option. Thanks for the reply though!

It was as I however, the compiler does not seem to collect on. CPP and. H being C++ files, so I stuck "- lang - c ++" in the compiler options and it seems at least now compile.
