• Issue of iOS 10 CarPlay

  When running into problems with CarPlay, there are a few recommendations, but one that seems most useful will consult the car manufacturer for updates to the firmware.  It may be that since iOS 10 is released, the firmware must be updated as well.
  
  

  Get help

  If CarPlay does not work as you expect, here's what you can check. After each step, try to use CarPlay again.

  1. Make sure that Siri is turned on.
  2. Restart your iPhone and your car. Depending on your car, you can see the CarPlay home screen when you turn it on. If you do not, look for the CarPlay logo on the screen of your car.
  3. If possible, connect your iPhone to a different USB port in your car.
  4. Try a different lightning to a USB cable. Make sure that the cable is certified.
  5. Update to the latest version of iOS.
  6. Check the manual using your car. You may need to install updates of firmware for your stereo.

• iPad and iOS 10

  I will try and stay informed on the use of my Apple products. Read about the next version of iOS 10, expected soon, I have some questions that I thought better to ask some of the experts here:

  1. I have a 32GB WiFi iPad 3 model A1416. From what I see, this does not upgraded to iOS 10. Will this affect being able to update the apps? Developers are likely to follow the trial and is no longer updated for models behind Apple 'line '?
  2. If the model of the iPad does not allow a user to update, it will be a potential for risk to safety if continue to use iOS 9.3 going forward?
  3. With these conditions, do you think it would be a problem prevents the old model of the iPad? or do you recommend to sell? If the sale, where the (Apple recycling, Gazelle, etc.)?

  (1) you are right that it is incompatible with iOS 10. Developers will eventually begin creation or update applications that require iOS 10, as was the case for each previous version, but I suspect that it will take some time.

  (2) iOS 9.3.5 was released today to patch a security hole. If another such flaw apparent iOS 10 is released, then your iPad will remain vulnerable unless Apple has released an update for iOS 9.   You should be able to get the latest compatible version of the app Apple Podcast and other apps too:

  From when iOS 7 was released, Apple can now download the latest compatible version of some applications (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)

  Install the latest compatible version of an application on a previous version of iOS or OS X

• IPhone 6 screen freezes even after updating iOS 9.2

  I read all the posts on the thread "iPhone 6 freezes after iOS 9 update" and tried ALL the options mentioned in the thread, including taking the phone to the iPhone "geniuses" (ha! What gumption) and after 3 months of running around they gave me, the problem still remains. It's December 28 and I first started noticing symptoms appox when iOS 9 was released in late September.

  Apple won't admit they should be Recalling all these phones, but it's the right thing to do. My 1 year warranty expired in November and now I'm SOL.

  Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

  • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
  • Press and hold the Home button
  • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

  Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

  If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

  Until the release of the iOS 9.2 we were able to silently install our DEP-registered aircraft with certain applications,

  as the application of MDM-Client etc...

  With the advent of assignment apps on devices rather than assign applications to the apple iOS IDS 9, there is a catch [... is there not always].   Owners of free applications must allow their applications to be assigned to devices.  That's what I read when ios 9 is released.

  Download the final version of iOS

  If you have a beta version of iOS and you want to download the final version, follow these steps:

  1. Connect your device to iTunes.
  2. When your device is connected, force it to restart. Press and hold buttons sleep/wake and Home at the same time. Don't release when you see the Apple logo. Keep now until you see the Recovery Mode screen.
  3. When asked, choose updates to download and install the latest version of iOS nonbeta.
     An update installation does not affect your settings or content.

  Once you have downloaded the final version, monitor your Wi - Fi again and let us know if you experience the same problem.

  Problem:

  "I can't the universal Clipboard to work, even if I met all conditions prior and followed all the guides available at present".

  I have the following devices:

  • MacBook 12 "retina (Early 2015) with macOS Sierra, official release;
  • iPhone 6 Plus with iOS 10, official release.

  What follows is activated/enabled:

  • Bluetooth on both devices;
  • Wi - Fi on both devices.
  • Discount on both devices;
  • Same account iCloud on both devices.

  Things I've tried, with absolutely no results:

  • Copy and paste between the devices, both ways, but it does not (even after a few moments of waiting).
  • Deactivating Bluetooth on both devices and reactivation;
  • Disabling a Wi - Fi connection on both devices and reactivation;
  • Deactivation of discount on the two devices and reactivation;
  • ICloud on both devices and connection disconnect rear;
  • Restart both devices;
  • Reset NVRAM/SMC on Macbook;
  • Looking for updates (both are up to date).

  Details:

  "All other Sierra macOS / iOS 10 features work as expected." Transfer (and other characteristics of continuity - including mobile data sharing) works without any problem at all.   10 IOS is only released for a few weeks and is only for mobile devices - do you mean OS X for Mac may be? If so we can't answer until you give us the exact version - the currnet software is OS X Sierra 10.12.  If you are up-to-date, then you select a picture in Photos and get info (right click then get info) and enter the location in the location field - what is described in help Photos too

  You can continue to use the iPad as use you it now - you will see that when iOS 10 was released in autumn you will be no longer able to download updates to some of your applications (depending on whether the developers of them use iOS 10 specific features), but your existing applications should continue to work
