iOS Pegasus Hack?

The Pegasus iOS hack recently revealed that uses a text message with incorrect link to exploit the WebKit vulnerability has been fixed in iOS 9.3.5.  However, for those who are infected there is no known way to clean the appliance.  The aircraft completed sign mods, I'm assuming that the tell tale of kernel is, since the jailbreaks of hack apple updates no longer work.   Can anyone confirm?

  • iPad can not activate after update 9.3 iOS. "Incorrect Apple ID" used message, when it obviously isn't

After the update to iOS 9.3 my 2 Mini iPad fails to activate.

I get the message 'wrong apple ID' all the time, even if its my correct apple ID, that works on iTunes and iCloud, etc..

I tried the activation via iTunes recovery mode and DFU mode, but nothing helps. I do not think it's a problem of server activation, this looks more like a problem with activation ID.

I also tried to remove the device from iCloud, remove the device to locate your iPhone and even changed my password Apple ID.

Is this a possible iOS Malware hack "Keyraider"?

It is more likely that it is a bug on the Apple name, given the large number of threads with people having the same problem. Especially people with older devices.

You may only be stuck waiting for them to sort out if restore via iTunes did not work for you.

There is no known viruses or malware for a non jailbroken Apple device.

Assuming that you have a valid SIM card in the phone, it is more often symptomatic of a phone that has been hacked or jailbroken to unlock.

Where do you have the phone first?

  • archive e-mail iOS 10 not work properly - sending mail in the trash

I have the s 6 + and have just upgraded to iOS 10. Both of my Gmail accounts are related to the mail of iOS and the parameters are defined on archive on the server (all mail in gmail) to throw. Under IOS 9, a simple click in the icon of the archive at the bottom of an email in the mail application would immediately archive correctly.

    Now with 10, there are 2 problems/bugs.

    (1) on the court by clicking on the icon, a temporary popup seems to offer options for archive or cancel. It is an unnecessary extra step and should be removed (long click always takes me to the popup to archives/trash/cancel)

    (2) However, by clicking on the text results (click for short or long road) archive in my mail goes into the TRASH. This seems to be a BUG. Very frustrating because now I need to move manually ALLMAIL emails now correctly in the TRASH

(For info in the snippet view, slide to the left seems to archive correctly)

Anyone had similar problems? Any ideas if there is a hack to work around this problem?

Yes, it's very frustrating and is not a step 2 useful to archive omg

  • Everytime I turn on my iOS device, even if it's just dormant, all icons have been reorganized. Is it a virus? Why this is happening?  Thank you.

Is it something in the settings I should change or could I have a virus or have been hacked? Thank you for your help.

First of all, make sure that you run the latest version of iOS on your device. If so, there could be a bug that may have caused this problem. restoration should solve this problem.

Please make sure that you have backed up your data on itunes before restoring the device.

  • I think I have the malware installed Pegasus. How can I remove it?

I received a message of photography through which turned out to be a link to the questionable site. Now, my phone has been badly behave. I ran out of batty in less than a day (which never happens!), he has tried to download something and didn't and then he asked my restriction code.

I'm sure it is hacked... Is the only thing I can do is to clean and reload from a backup?

    Hi Scifibooknut,

9.3.5 iOS is available and supposedly solves the problem. But I guess that you already updated to the latest version...

  • If I have already been infected by Pegasus, this update remedies the infection

  • Antivirus for ipad IOS 9.3.1

No software is necessary if you stay current on your version of iOS and security updates and do not hack your device.

  • Hack and download deleted files.

Firstly - I don't know anything about apple products, but a few years back we were at a party where my son was charged to hack an iPad to friends and download of deleted files. My son is said to have picked up his iPad and clicked the button image on his screen locked and watched a slide show.

But they were pretty adamant that he hacked in and downloaded its deleted pictures because she removed the image that he could see. He also repeated that they could see pictures deleted! They have nothing serious, she took a few pictures of pimples on the face and apparently they made fun of her and she got very angry, being 10 or 11 years and they ended up leaving the group.

Things kind of has taken a turn for the worse when the friend's brother went behind my son to school has grabbed by the shoulders spun around him and he was slammed into a locker and yelled to leave his sister alone. Well, my wife was quite upset and things came and went for a bit and we pretty much no more.

So in the end - they looked like, Yes, I disagree with my son doing... but look at what your son. The mother says well enough, was his exact quote "[my son] betrayed [his] confidence to hack his iPad and download its deleted photos!

Can someone please explain what they're talking about and how was my son able to watch a slideshow on a locked iPad? Can someone also explain how can they see Deleted Photos?

    Sorry for this long post...

From the sounds of things, your son has no more to start the slideshow on the device function. Maybe the photos they thought had been deleted was not. I vaguely remember the feature which for my part would have stopped. See http://ipadacademy.com/ipad-tip-using-your-ipad-as-a-digital-photo-frame-even-wh en-locked /. From what I understand, it has been deleted in the iOS 7.

  • iOS security

I always use iPad and iPhone to surf the Internet and banking payments. My iOS for the iPhone and iPad are updated. But I'm worried about hackers and thieves for my passwords in online payments, because I have not installed any internet security software. Apple says that all apple products are produced with built in antivirus. In addition, it is not possible to install internet security on iOS. What is your idea about this statement?

There is no known viruses that can affect an iPhone.

Similarly, there is no reported to who within hacking distance either an iPhone.

The design of the iOS that stop at the operational level. This same design is what prevents any form of Antivirus doing anything more scanning itself.   There is no access to an application in other parts of the system directly.

iOS is considered to be a fo more secure systems in the world.

I'd be more concerned with what I use for my sensitive operations such as database connections.

It is believed to do banking on a wifi network that control you.  That is to say at home or your office.

Another thing is open and would be an easy target for hackers to compromise your iPhone could ever be.

  • iPhone hacked this morning 6s

My 6s iPhone has been hacked this morning, while I was using it.  Suddenly, he went to the lock screen, on his own and a message in what looks like the Russian Phonetics was displayed with an e-mail to appleforgot03 at gmail dot com  Swipe right requires me to enter my security code, which I wasn't about to do.  I put in flight mode, immediately changed my password Apple and am now trying resetting factory (I live in a rural area of the northeast of Scotland and there about 4 hours to download the necessary software update).  How does this happen?  I didn't download all the apps from anywhere other than the Apple App Store, my iPhone is not jailbroken and was purchased brand new in November last to three.co.UK.  Two days ago, I put on the Apple site to beta-test the latest version of iOs for iPhone - I beta tested a few BONES and used the official website of the subscription using my own iTunes account, etc.  The only time wherever I've been on a unknown wifi connection in recent weeks has been at the Apple Store in Union Square mall in Aberdeen, Scotland, I used to save my iPhone to iCloud, while I was in the store for a short period.  He has not finished.  If the factory reset does not work I have to get in to the Genius Bar.  I just want to point out this isn't a jailbroken phone, and yet someone has managed to hack.  Clearly, there is a security breach * somewhere * here.

Since it was not jailbroken, then there is no hack, perhaps a spam message.

  • Worry not that my account was hacked, or my stolen device found once more.

I received an email from auto to Heathrow Airport has sent to my email from Apple yesterday, account while at the point I was in Asia. It's either my hacked account, or a long lost ipad/iphone/computer laptop is turned on.

Do you know what email address to Apple I can contact to find the device that got connected and received the email from Heathrow Airport?

    Thank you.

    Hello, N.Dingo.

It seems that you are affected by a message about a stolen iOS device. The following Knowledge Base article provides information and additional links regarding the protection of your account and your tracking device:

If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is lost or stolen

If you lose your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch or think it might be stolen, these steps may help you to find and protect your data.

If find my iPhone is turned on, you can use it to find your device. If find my iPhone isn't on, change your passwords and the report of the missing device.

If you find my iPhone turned on your missing device

You can use Find My iPhone to find your device and to take additional measures that can help you recover and protect your data.

    1. Login to icloud.com/find on a Mac or PC, or use the find my iPhone app on another iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
    2. Find your device. Open find my iPhone, and then select a device to see its location on a map. If the device is nearby, you can have it play a sound to help you or someone nearby to find.
    3. Activate the Mode lost. Use the lost Mode, you can lock your device with a four-digit coderemotely, display a personalized message with your phone number on the lock screen of your missing device and keep track of the location of your device. If you have added maps to pay Apple to debit or credit, the ability to make payments using Apple pay on the device is suspended when you put your device in Mode lost.

  • Report your lost or stolen to the local police unit. Law enforcement could ask the serial number of your device. Find the serial number of your device.
  • Erase your device. To prevent anyone to access data on your missing device, you can erase it remotely. When you wipe your device, all of your information (including credit or debit to pay Apple) will be removed from the device, and you won't be able to find it using find my iPhone. After you delete a device, you cannot follow him. If you remove the device from your account after you delete it, locking Activation will be switched off. This allows someone else to activate and use your device.
  • If you use the sharing of family, any family member can help locate the device missing by another Member. Check your member of the family connect you to iCloud with their Apple ID, and you can find any device associated with this family sharing account.

What to do if your iOS device is turned off or offline?

If your missing device is turned off or offline, you can still implement this Mode lost, lockor remote wipe. The next time your device is online, these measures will take effect. If you remove the device from your account while it is offline, pending actions for the device will be cancelled.

How to disable or cancel lost Mode?

You can disable lost Mode by entering the access code on your device. Alternatively, you can disable the Mode lost on iCloud.com or the find my iPhone app.

If find my iPhone is not activated on your missing device

If you do not enable find my iPhone before your device has been lost or stolen, you can not use it to locate your device. However, you can use the following steps to help protect your data:

    1. Change your password on Apple ID. By changing your Apple ID password, you can prevent anyone to access your iCloud data or using other services (such as iMessage or iTunes) from your missing device.
    2. Change the passwords of other internet accounts on your device. This might include email, Facebook, or Twitter accounts.
    3. Report your lost or stolen to the local police unit. Law enforcement could ask the serial number of your device. Find the serial number of your device.
    4. Report your lost device to your mobile phone service provider. Your carrier can deactivate the account, preventing the use of data, texts and phone calls.

Find my iPhone is the only way that you can follow or locate a lost device or missing. If find my iPhone is not activated on your device until missing, there is no other service from Apple that can find, follow or flag, otherwise your device for you.

Thank you for reaching out to the communities of Apple Support.

    Kind regards.
