IP SLA for EIGRP routes

Hello

I searched high and low for an answer to this but have not found anything specific to my situation. We have 7 remote sites and one social site. All sites are connected by a primary MPLS cloud and all remote sites have a local circuit of cable Comcast connected to an ASA for the failover of the internet. IP SLA for internet connection works as expected. Now I understand how to configure IP SLA to track the availability of the static routes by default, but we use EIGRP on our remote sites for business traffic. The idea is that we want to follow our neighbour MPLS switch basis at each remote site, where the SPLM neighbor is more accessible, we want to install a static route for all LAN traffic through a VPN, I put in place on the SAA at the headquarters office. This static route would replace all redistributed to the MPLS provider, EIGRP routes until the neighbor MPLS is once again accessible. According to me, I'm missing something very simple, but I can't just it identify.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

-Mike

Mike

-What precedes a remote site?

If so you have nothing to do because you already have a default route for the internet anyway. If the MPLS network drops the EIGRP routes are lost, so the default route would be used not only for internet but also other sites connected to the MPLS network.

While each remote site has it's own internet connection?

Sorry about all the questions, just want to be sure that I fully understand the current configuration.

I have redundant paths to a remote 2811 router on my network of sites.  The first links is a T1 frame relay connection that has been in place for years, and the new link is on a 54 Mbps fixed wireless that was recently created.

How to recover or find the network key for a router wireless (Netgear)

    Hi RaymondKramp,

    ·         What version of Windows is installed on your computer?

If you have lost the key to network and not connected to the network, then you can reset the router to factory settings wireless.

If you lost the key network and connected to the network, and then log on to the Web page of the router and get the key.

For more assistance, you can contact Netgear Support:

  • How can I find out the password for my router, I missed place

I want to add another computer to use though, I can't find the password for my router.  Is it possible to find it on one of my other computers.

Except if you have really tightened down on the security of your router, adding another computer should be a simple to plug it.  In any case, most routers can be reset by default (including the password) by pressing the button of reset for about 10 seconds.  As you do not have the brand or the model of router in your post, all I can recommend is for more specific information, you should go to your router manufacturer's website and download the manual for your make and model of router and follow the instructions.

    Hello

Make sure that the software firewall on each computer allows free local traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall on, Vista/XP Firewall Native should be disabled, and the active firewall has adjusted to your network numbers IP on what is sometimes called the Zone of confidence (see part 3 firewall instructions

    General example, http://www.ezlan.net/faq#trusted
Please note that some 3rd party software firewall continue to block the same aspects it traffic Local, they are turned Off (disabled). If possible, configure the firewall correctly or completely uninstall to allow a clean flow of local network traffic. If the 3rd party software is uninstalled, or disables, make sure Windows native firewall is active .

  • NPS Windows Help for authentication of aaa for Cisco router - is it safe?

I am very confused about how all this works and was hoping someone could help me.

I followed a bunch of tutorials online for authentication RADIUS of installation on a Cisco router and he did to a NPS Windows Server. Now I can ssh into the router my AD account.

Now that I got it to work, I go to the settings to make sure everything is secure.

On my router, the config is pretty simple:

    aaa new-modelaaa group server radius WINDOWS_NPSserver-private 123.123.123.123 auth-port 1812 acct-port 1813 key mykeyaaa authentication login default local group WINDOWS_NPS

ip domain-name MyDomcrypto key generate rsa

(under vty and console)# login authentication default
    On the NPS Windows:
    • I created a new RADIUS client for the router.
    • Created a secret shared and specified Cisco as the name of the seller.
    • Created a new strategy of network with my desired conditions.
    • And now the frame of the configuration of the network policy that worries me:

So initially I thought my AD credentials were being sent over the wire in plain text, but I did a capture and saw this:

How is my password being encrypted and how strong is the encryption?

Another thing is how can I configure aaa authentication with mschapv2? The documentation I saw for mschapv2 uses the "ppp authentication ms-chap-v2" command, but I'm not using ppp I'm using aaa with a radius server.

    Hello

RADIUS encrypts the password, but sends the username in clear. GANYMEDE encrypts the user name and password.

You can find the encryption used by RADIUS in the RFC scheme:

    https://Tools.ietf.org/html/rfc2865#page-27

MS-Chap-V2 is used for the authentication of users such as the remote access and vpn, not management switch

  • wireless router not working do not: told by iYogi technical support for wireless router Netgear that my registry is corrupt

My Netgear wireless router (model: N300 wireless (WNR2000v3) router wireless) has stopped working properly without Internet access for my laptop (there was a triangle 'yellow' small 'i' (exclamation point) on the Wi - Fi signal strength indicator in the lower right corner of my computer screen.).  I bought only the router ago 3 months 25/08/2012.  Netgear technical assistance is really "iYogi technical support.  After more than 3 hours, Abdullah, Tech support person had me change what I think are 'DNS' settings for the router, and it now the next day, Thursday, November 15, 2012, works very well, "so far".

My question is this.  The "iYogi tech support" person said, after took my computer during the process of fixing my problem, I had 9% of my corrupt computer registry files and I need to have a computer system 'optimize' made, then I wouldn't have the same problem with the router, and other problems with my computer, in the future.  The service would cost me $150 with 1 year tech support 24/7 from "iYogi" (support for Netgear tech. company) or $50 to do it once.  There was a LOT of pressure to pay then and not wait a day or more so I could think my 90 days of Netgear Tech. Free support ends on Thursday, November 22, 2012.  The person of 'iYogi technical support', Abdullah, said that because my Toshiba laptop has 4 GB of RAM and the Netgear wireless router has a very small RAM, then in a near future the problem could happen again and I have to pay a lot of money for the correction of a problem including my registry corrupted 9% of my Windows 7 (Home Premium (64-bit) with Service Pack 1).

I had no problems with my computer that I've known since the purchase of this new about 2 years (a portable satellite youcef) ago.

I have to have my system "optimized"?  My really register 9% damaged and if yes, is this normal or do I need to have it fixed?

I was wondering if I had another brand of a router (for example the Linksys), I have the same problem?

I would be grateful to anyone who helps to answer my questions and all the other advice on this subject.

Thank you, or anyone in advance for all your help.

    Kind regards

    CCEntertain2M

"Registry was damaged and needed optimization" - complete garbage, if the registry is damaged the PC does not start, the registry requires no optimization, third party that claims to optimize the registry software is snake oil and in the worst cases can make the system unusable.

Usually if you have a router problem appear, of the first steps would be to reboot the router (unplug his pwr for a minute) and re start the PC. These steps are usually all that is necessary.

  • Web Service data control the result as a basis for workflow router

    Hello

    I'm under JDEVADF_11.1.2.3.0_GENERIC_120914.0223.6276.1 build

I want to use the result of a check of SOAP Web Service data as input for a router on a workflow; lines will only ever return 0-1 control of data.

Is it possible declaratively on the workflow diagram by simply using a SOAP data control, or should I access the data control through a managed bean, or go on the road of web service proxy?

I'm new to ADF some detailed guidance would be appreciated.

    Thank you very much.

    Hello

routers can have their own binding ADF file, so yes its possible. Select the router and then use the right button of the mouse to go to the pageDef file. As it does not exist it will be created. Then add a method binding point to the method on the WS to invoke domain controller. In the router, you should be able to use #{bindings.methodName.execute} as the EL. If the method returns a value, then it went to the assessment.

However, if you need to look at an iterator (returned collection) then you are binding the attributeValue to one of the attriibutes in the collection. This should also configure the WS iterator and the required method binding

I use the WiFi WNR614 N300 router. Is it possible to limit the bandwidth for devices that are connected on it.

    Hi @vic2408

To answer your question, there is no way to limit the bandwidth on each of the devices.
You may need to use a 3rd party software to do this.

  • HP laptop computer 635: need driver for wireless router

Hello. I had to replace the hard drive of my laptop computer and a new operating system, Windows 7 Pro, after which it cannot connect to the wireless router. It's a router Westell A90-750018-07. I have a Tablet Android working on this particular router and want to download the driver on it and put it on the flash drive to reinstall on my laptop. Is that going to work? Where can I download it? FairPoint is now 14.99 an extra month of me now for a Support technique Premium. They are waiting for me to borrow a laptop to try to help him to do so. They seek to use the android on the phone, but it seemed to complicated with android as a third party. Will this work? Please if someone could help would be great. Thank you.

You need the driver for the card installed in your 635 wireless. Problem is that you will know which card you have Ralink, Realtek or Atheros. The drivers are all posted on your support page:

    http://h20564.www2.HP.com/hpsc/SWD/public/readIndex?sp4ts.Oid=5086540&swLangOid=8&swEnvOid=4059

If you don't know what wireless card, you need to get the id of the hardware in the Device Manager. Right-click the network adapter, choose Proprietes.dans the window that opens click on the Details tab use the selector drop-down menu to choose the hardware id. After the first string of numbers - or at least the first half of the chain.
