iPad 9.7 Pro stuck on the startup screen.
My iPad 9.7 Pro is stuck on the start screen. I can force restart it but it still gets stuck on the start screen. Does anyone else have this problem or resolution?
Use the recovery mode as described here. You may try to go into recovery mode more than once to succeed.

When starting after a successful boot & use, the PC is stuck on the startup screen that is black with the logo blue & white HP in the middle and "press ESC for the start menu" at the bottom left. I have to perform a hard reset to get a normal startup. Everything works fine. I stop the PC from the start menu. At the next startup the PC hangs at the HP splash screen. A hard reset solves the problem, but the problem occurred on & repeatedly.
Problem was solved by uninstalling a number of HP programs! Unfortunately I have lost the paper on which I wrote exactly what programs I uninstalled. If you find this issue that may arise on your notrbook, try to uninstall the HP programs

Yoga 2 Pro stuck on the BIOS screen
Yesterday using my pro, I let the battery run completely. When I went to use the computer today, the computer is stuck on the white screen of lenovo.
Computer will not configuration options or boot bios enter unless the hard drive is removed. I can run the computer without the pcei HDD when you use a disk external hard usb. Not really sure where to go fron here. I tried to remove the hard disk, booting from a flash drive, then reinstall the pcei reader, but it does appear quite Similarly when searching for it through the command prompt. Thinking I have a bad drive hard, but I am at a loss at the moment
Yes, I'm guessing that the drive might be bad.
Try the Secure Boot turn off/on or affecting in the UEFI/Legacy BIOS as well. It might allow you to start an external drive.
Make sure that the boot order is set to an external start too.

I have a Macbook pro (2011 model). It gets stuck on the start screen on to half way through commissioning. This happens whenever the mac turns on. The problem is solved when I reinstall Yosemite to boot to Recovery Mode disk utility. However, the next time you start, the startup process is blocked to halfway to new (on the screen with the toolbar and the status of apple). I want a more permanent solution to reinstall the operating system every time. Would appreciate someone's suggestions and thanks in advance.
Replace your hard drive.
You have a backup of trust? If not, buy a disc of exterrnal for that as well.
The progress bar from the left end at the beginning of the commissioning indicates that your drive has been so damaged, it could not be mounted. Five minutes of progress bar is shown as it does the equivalent of disk utility (ERD [Directory]). If you have reinstalled several times and the problem is not fixed, your drive is in solid form.

T420 stuck on the startup Lenovo screen
Hi I'm new to this community, so I would like to applogise if I have something simillar to mist (I checked some but not solved my problem).
I have a thinkpad t420, I bought a used one. It worked great, and I bought a friend, that I trust. I installed an SSD, was usnig Linux, and everything worked for a month. But then I bought a HARD drive caddy and replaced the CD-ROM. After that my thinkpad has worked for a day (although he does not recognize the second HDD). The next day, I tried to find BIOS for some parameters and after I restarted my laptop, it was stuck on the startup Lenovo screen, reboot loop. I tried:
-removing and replacing the caddy with the CD rom.
-replace my SSD drive,
-replace the RAM (two locations),
-Reset BIOS,
-launch a diagnostic CD (but it does not start, nor can I boot from a USB key)
My google search showed that he could bi a problem with one of the USB pins inside one of the ports (short circuit or something like that), but I couldn't find any damage. So I'm thinkig that the motherboard may be damaged, but I can access BIOS, but it's the only thing I can do with it.
I'd be thenkful Walker of any advice or help, before moving on to official Lenovo service for help. Thnak you!
Z.
You can always source a new mobo on eBay, or any part on your T420 to recover some costs.

After starting problems on my Toshiba satellite with xp pro sp2, I booted my xp pro sp2 disk and did a repair instead of a reinstall software. He went through the motions, removed the sys files, copied them back and so on. Then he asked my product key and I typed in it and it does not recognize. It's a real bought copy of xp pro sp2. Now, I'm stuck on the main screen of the product. When I start the laptop on the xp disk it blue screens, the only option I have is to enter a product key in the configuration... I have my receipt for my xp pro disk and product key for certification sticker. Help, please!
"XP MCE Pro? That is not normal! It would be one or the other (AFAIK). Here is an example:
http://cdn2.ioffer.com/IMG/item/811/353/46/o_XyuQav94U1MQ0Ci.jpg
If the hybrid you mention is the real thing, it's new to me! I know that some have described as a superset of Pro MCE, but I never used this version, so I can't tell you definitively that a COA sticker wouldn't this combo of terms...
In addition, the term 'Enterprise Edition' implies something not legitimate. I do not think that Microsoft has never used the term marketing for Windows.
If you had a legitimate retail version of Windows XP (any version) that is not used on another PC, you can perform a Clean Install (not a repair installation), using this key (not the key COST laptop). The only way you can use the key from your laptop COST would be if you used the correct installation CD - a generic OEM version of the corresponding XP (MCE?) version. In this way, you can perform a clean installation or a repair installation.
Have you looked at the links I posted? What do you mean by "boot option? The instructions were to press the zero key while turning on the laptop. You are not supposed to enter the OS! The recovery partition is quite distinct.
If your laptop does not a recovery partition, you should be able to get the correct recovery CD for this Toshiba - by Toshiba or you might need to find a reputable eBay merchant, etc.. Restoredisks.com, who has a good rating from Better Business Bureau, they probably sold too.

Envy 15: Stuck on the HP screen
Good so recently I accidentally leave my laptop ran out of battery. I've loaded and started upward and it's gone through an update of windows then stuck on the loading screen HP during auto restart during this process. All I see is black HP logo and the white dots circling below until after a few seconds the HP logo becomes, but the indirect approach points continue.
I did a hard reset but it changed nothing. I also ran each test system, it won't let me in the menu diagnosis and has passed everyone, including 2 extensive system testing.
Whereas this problem is usually either a broken hard drive or fixed with a hard reset I am at a loss for what to try next. It's a HP Envy 15 with Windows 10 - 64 bit.Hello
Try the following.
First, use another PC to create a bootable Windows 10 DVD or a USB Flash drive via the following link. Under the section "Imperative to create a cable USB, DVD or ISO", download the media creation tool.
http://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/Windows10
Once you have it, run the tool, select 'Create the installation media for another PC', then select the language edition of Windows 10 and 64-bit.
Follow the rest of the guests to create this and then click on finish when done.
Insert the Installation of Windows 10 support and stop the laptop by pressing the power button for 10 seconds.
Click next to the ESC key as soon as you press the power button to enter the Boot Menu, and then select the Boot Options Menu ( f9 ).
Use the arrow keys to highlight the CDROM (uefi) or USB Flash Driver (uefi) option, according to the type of media you created, then press on enter – if you are prompted to "Press any key to continue...". "- make.
Start on the Menu of Boot Options Advanced - see Option 5 on the link below for more information on access to this.
http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2294-advanced-startup-options-boot-Windows-10-a.html#Option5
Then try to run the Windows system restore to return the laptop to a point in time before this problem occurred - see Option 1 on the link below for more information on this procedure.

Vista stuck on the home screen, impossible to connect
The problem came from last night after that my computer had a blue screen and proceeded to do some sort of system dump or something like that. Subsequently, I have been unable to connect to one of the five accounts on the computer because it stuck to the home screen after clicking on the account. The little blue circle would continue forever. The computer works fine in safe mode, but I tried a clean boot with MSCONFIG and it still doesn't work. Any ideas? In addition, CTRL + ALT + DELETE DO NOT solve the problem.
Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.
Restore point:
http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/
Do the restore of the system in Safe Mode, you cannot do it in Normal Mode.
Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.
Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...
Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.
http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm
Read the above for a very good graph shows how backward more than 5 days in the System Restore Points by checking the correct box.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html
Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:
http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/
ISO Burner:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
See you soon.
Stuck on the profile screen after Windows update
After that a windows update last night, my computer is stuck on the profile screen and I can not connect. By clicking on the icons for different accounts does not bring to the top of the login screen where I can enter a password. The screen just flashes and the wheel spins for a while and then comes back to the profile screen. I tried to boot into the different security modes but same thing happens and I can not connect. I also tried to fix the computer and restart at the last known good configuration under boot options with the same results. Short to reset the default settings that will erase all my data, (which may or may not work) is there another fix? It seems that windows is starting up, but just the login screen appear so I can enter my password. I have windows 7 Home premium version.
Hello
Please provide detailed information about your question. I appreciate the step by step troubleshooting, and pain that you have taken to resolve your problem.
If the Panel username and password is not displayed during logon and the problem persists even in safe mode, then the question could be if there is a corrupted file system or some third party conflicts.
I suggest that you want to run auto repair with installation media and see if it helps you repair system files. For the execution of the task, I suggest you to try the steps below and see if it helps.
Method 1
When you use the recovery environment (Windows RE) to troubleshoot startup issues, first try the Startup Repair option in the System Recovery Options dialog box. If this does not resolve the problem, or if you have additional problems manually, use the Bootrec.exe tool.
Because you cannot start the computer, you may need to create a bootable Windows installation media, and then do an auto repair, and if this does not help then you try to restore your computer to the previous date.
Note: When you use system restore to restore the computer to a previous state, the programs and updates that you have installed are removed.
If you are using Windows 7 and you have the product key and then the link provided below might help you to download and create installation media if you do not.
Download Windows 7 Disk Images (ISO files)
Method 2
If the problem persists, try to rebuild the BCD by using the Bootrec.exe tool. To run the Bootrec.exe tool, you must start Windows recovery environment (Windows RE) . To do this, follow these steps:
- Place the Windows 7 installation disc in the disc drive, and then start the computer.
- Press a key when you are prompted. Select a language, a time, a currency, a keyboard or an input method, and then click Next.
- Click repair your computer.
- Click the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next.
- In the System Recovery Options dialog box, click command prompt.
- Type Bootrec.exe, and then press ENTER.
See the following link for more information:
How to use the Bootrec.exe tool in the Windows recovery environment to troubleshoot and repair startup issues in Windows
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/927392
Hope it would help. If problem persists always post back with the current state of your computer and the result of the proposed suggestion, we will be happy to help you.
Kind regards
