iPad Pro 9.7 inch 256 GB WiFi + cell phone

I have an Apple iPad 9.7 Pro in cellular WiFi 256GB UNLOCKED and was sold to Apple in JAPAN.  My question is: what carriers there will be locks my embedded SIM if I choose their service? My understanding is that only AT & T in the United States will lock it permanently and that the integrated SIM card would never work with another carrier.  Does anyone know if there is any other carriers that would lock particular one of the carriers in the Japan as SoftBank, Docomo (NTT) or the (KDD)?  Thank you.

I think not cellular capable iPads are locked - you can choose any carrier - locking the iPhone is mainly because it is financed by the carrier - we have owned two WiFi + cellular iPads purchased directly from a certified retailer (Staples and Best Buy) and they were released

  • iPad Pro 9.7 "slow performance on wifi

Hi all - looking for Apple's brain trust land on this one.

I recently bought the new Pro peripheral 9.7 "iPad (wifi and cellular) and have noticed a lot of slow performance when you use it on a wifi network.

I also have an iPhone 6s so decided to compare the two head to head, both on the same wifi network. Going to the same sites, YouTube, download my diary, it's okay - 6 bulbs just with speed so that the iPad Pro chugs and takes significantly longer to download exactly the same content. The old iPad Air that I used to use never had this problem. The problem doesn't seem to be the same thing with WiFi cell, just the one. It connects to the wifi network is fast blisteringply so I exclude the network being the issue. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem.

I must say im very disappointed iPad pro account $ 1300 or so I paid for it. I am strongly considering to return.

Have you tried a hard reset of your iPad by pressing the sleep/wake and Home buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with the Apple logo and then release the buttons?

  • Air 2 iPad 64 gb wifi cell phone

I have had my ipad air 2 cell phones 64 GB version wifi 9.3.1 for 6 months and it froze on me for the first time tonight. I did a hard reset that worked, but now the screen lapses changing apps in-between. I am just updating my iPhone 6 version 9.3.2 and tried to update my ipad to the latest version 9.3.2 but now me not to make it stating that "no updates found/required. I don't know if it is a problem of IOS but my ipad still shows the version 9.3.1 and my iPhone is showing 9.3.2 version. I'm not sure if I have to wait for the update to appear in the next 24-48 hours.

    Will keep you posted

Go to settings > general > storage & use iCloud > manage storage (the first) > and if there is an update, delete it. Then go to settings > general > Software Update and try again.

If that doesn't work, try updating through iTunes on your computer.

  • Do I need cell for a new iPad Pro, or can I use my iPhone as a personal hotspot?

I am considering a new iPad Pro. I want to know if I can use my iPhone to connect to the internet or should I buy an iPad Pro with a free Wi Fi and cell phone.

Sure you can... but you must first check if your cellular provider to share the internet connection through the iPhone and you pay for internet sharing plan.

  • Purchase of an iPad Pro with cell phone

I'm looking on Ebay and find a number of iPad Pro which are unable to activate the cell, but can be used in wifi mode, because the IMEI was bad. I thought that all the iPad Pro had an Apple SIM and have been unlocked. Even if it were purchased from Verizon and had a Verizon SIM, perhaps under contract and could not connect to Verizon, could I not put it in an Apple SIM and connect to another carrier such as Gigsky? I guess I don't understand the concept of an IMEI will hurt on an unlocked phone.

You were talking about an iPad Pro, did you mean an iPhone? If someone bought a Pro from Verizon iPad on one of their plans and then default Verizon can black list of the device.

  • iPad Pro does not save on computer

I have a new iPad 9.7 Pro, 128 GB, WiFi-cell phone I can not backup my iTunes macbook pro. Computer has OS X El Capitan, version 10.11.5 and iTunes 12.4.0.119.  Keeps the gear from spinning and the status bar is a solid blue which freezes and says synchronization step 2 of 8 work hours 10 or more if I let him.  Had much to Apple Care do different things and nothing worked. They even told me that I had to backup to iCloud before I could save them on my computer. I had to buy storage iCloud, which I didn't. I want to save it on my computer.  It's the 6th iPad I had and never had this problem.  It seems that know an Apple Care wants to help, they don't call you back leaving the voice message or respond to your email. They took the news of what was going on with the computer and sent it to Apple engineers.  I had this problem for over a month. Can someone help me please

    Two questions

    1. using a backup cable?

    2. how much space is available on the MBP?

  • iPad pro will keep connected wifi

Just got an Ipad 12,9 pro (wifi and cellular) 128Gb

Implementation was easy and the wifi worked well. Then I turned the ipad pro turned off.

the next time I turned it on, wifi was off the road, I turned it on and it connected to my router, for about 1 min, continued to do this, so I checked the internet to see a certain to have this problem.

I followed the ideas to solve including ensuring that the switch to cell was turned off and reset my network settings.

Hey Presto! wifi then kept connected for hours, then I turned off the Ipad Pro.

the next time I booted up... Same problem, wifi does not stay on.

There is probably an Apple solution for this, or do I have to keep resetting my network connections every time I use it? my air Ipad, ipad 2 and all the other wifi enabled home devices have no problem with the router

If so, it's pants, a so-called society better than Microsoft for problems.

I had the same problem, but forget my network and join her again seem to have solved.

  • Pro 9.7 inch iPad, cell does not work as a hotspot

in Switzerland, announced as working with Swiss internet telephony providers and can be used as a point of personal interest.

It does not work. I took to an Apple store and they tried with my SIM card, with other models, like the Air2 iPad, and it shows Personal Hotspot on the setting.   But not on my version iPad 9.7 Pro cell.  So they took to their own view of the Apple store model, and it shows the same thing as my own iPad Pro, meaning does not show 'personal hotspot.  The Apple technician told me that it is a problem with the phone Sunrise provider.  But I have the iPhone 6, iPad Air2, and works with them very well. These shows 'personal hotspot.   I took the phone to Sunrise store, they verified my card, account and I tried with several of their models to shop with my SIM card, and everything worked.

I got home, I took my card SIM is not working card from my iPhone, put in the Pro, but works with my Air2.  I took Swisscom, who works in the iPhone 6, iPad Air2, showing "personal hotspot" but not on my model Pro 9.7 inch iPad.   I tried all variants, all models are running on IOS 9.3.1.  the only combinations of different SIM cards and iPhones and iPads, the only combination does not show Personal Hotspot in the Setup menu is the Pro 9.7 inches iPad model.

Shop Apple says nothing wrong with their product.  Sunrise said nothing wrong at their side, and I find myself alone.

BTW, the Apple store staff may even not show me a working model, i.e. their display model of the iPad 9.7 Pro with cell with setting menu displaying Personal Hotspot power.  If they don't have a working model to show me, how can they say nothing wrong with Apple.

    Can someone help me?
