  • iPad 9.7 Pro WiFi connection problems - 5 GHz

My brand new iPad 9.7 Pro is having major issues remaining connected to my home WiFi 5 GHz channels. The connection drops approximately every 30 seconds and I have to manually add the network in. Also, when he reconnection does not always have the password, and it takes several tries before it finally accepts it.

Curiously, the iPad is strong when it is connected to the 2.4 GHz channel and has yet to give up this connection. All my other devices (two iPhone 6 and old iPad) have no problem to stay connected to the 5 GHz channel so I know it is not a problem with the router settings. But just to be safe, I put all the router settings to those listed here: recommended for the WiFi routers and access - points Apple supported

That has not fixed the problem.

Then I went to the Apple store to see if they could help me and they ended up exchanging for another iPad. The same exact issues exist with the replacement. I even made sure to not restore from a backup and configure the replacement as a NEW iPad iPad. I then tried to connect to WiFi with the pre-installed operating system and always had the same questions. I then updated the iPad the latest OS 9.3.1 and it always shows the same questions.

I am at a loss for what to do next. I plan to return the iPad 9.7 Pro for the second time in two days. It was not ready for release.

General suggestions for Wi - Fi problems, maybe one of them will help you...

    (1) perform a forced reboot: hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Leave the device to reboot.

    (2) resetting the network settings: settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Join the network again.

    (3) change of Google DNS: settings > Wi - Fi > click the network, delete all the numbers under DNS and enter 8.8.8.8 or otherwise 8.8.4.4

    (4) turn off the QoS service on the router if available.

    (5) reboot router/Modem: unplug power for 2 minutes and reconnect. Update the Firmware on the router (check manufacturer support Web site). Check that your router is certified Wi - Fi.

    (6) determine if other wireless network devices work well (other iOS devices, Mac, PC).

    (7) try the device on another network, i.e., neighbors, the public coffee house, etc.

    (8) to restore the device (ask for more details if you wish).

    (9) go to the Apple Store for the evaluation of the material.

  • Slow Palm Pro

I've had my Palm pro for about 2 months now.  I told everyone how much I liked the phone.  Now for the past week my phone keeps freezing.  It allows to open applications such as email or messaging or Instant Messaging before I could take my fingers.  Now, it takes more than 30 seconds.  I checked my task manager and I'm running at 49%.  Since I was the phone is worked to 49%.

Any suggestions on what it could be or how to get my phone working again.  It crashes until I have to remove the battery (I'm now up to 3 - 4 times a day!)

    1. remove the back panel to expose the reset hole.

    2. press Power to turn on the screen.

    3. While pressing and holding the end, use the tip of the needle or a small paper clip to press and release the Reset button.

    4. continue by pressing and holding the end up to the clear all data? prompt.

    5. press on Up.

6 wait until the progress fill bar, then you can use the device again.

Who do you mean by "You guys"? I certainly never said that. This is a user forum. You're not talking Apple here.

The iPad 9.7 Pro camera has specs better than iPhone 6. However, because it is larger and heavier, it will definitely be harder to maintain.

  • iPad 9.7 Pro will not open iTunes Store

My iPad 9.7 Pro has problems opening the iTunes Store (never had these problems with my iPad 3 of Air).  Problem: Sometimes, everything on the screen for the iTunes store works fine.  Other times, the opening for the store screen shows the albums to feature at the top of the screen while the rest of the screen is white, and none of the albums feature can click on it to open it.  Other times, the screen will display in full but nothing can click on it to open it.  More recently, I got random situations where the app store stops when I try to open a song or an album.  I have installed all updates to the OS. This isn't a case of having too other apps to open in the background.  Closing and reopening the app store don't help.  Didn't help not transform the ipad and turn it back on.  The only solution was to do a complete reset (now simultaneously the off button and the "original" round button).  This problem occurs frequently.  Any ideas on the causes and the solution would be appreciated.

    Hello doodle22,

  • A new iPad 9.7 Pro update of and iPad Mini

I have an old iPad Mini (Mini) and a new, an iPad 9.7 Pro (Pro).  I have 185 pdf books, manuals, etc. on the Mini and I'm trying to update the Pro.  In the last two weeks, I spent more than 4 hours with the support of Apple on the phone without success.  The first fight lasted about two hours, and it appeared that the Pro has been updated correctly.  A week later, when I went to get a pdf that I thought had been transferred, I was unable to find it.  That's when I discovered that only 74 of the 185 had been transferred properly.

The basic approach was the Mini to iTunes backup, and then restore it this backup on the Pro.  It obviously doesn't work.  I then called Apple Support again and we have gone through basically the same process.  The Mini to iTunes backup and then restore this backup on the Pro.  All 185 pdfs have been backed up properly on my desktop (Win 8.1), but when this backup has been restored to the Pro, only 74 of the 185 came.  Apple support person and I never got it works.  So now I have to find those who have not been restored and restore each of them individually - 111 pdf files.

This situation is TOTALLY unacceptable.  A couple of years ago, when I bought a new desktop computer, it was a simple matter to move the 'old' stuff on the new computer using a simple transfer program running on the machines and an easy transfer cable special to connect the two computers.  Why I can't get the transfer to work using own Apple programs, I don't know.

Most of my opinions on Apple and their stuff of so-called "user friendly" is printable and really unable to repeat in polite society.

I hope someone reading this can enlighten us on one solution to this problem, other than what seems to be the only solution so far.  Find the missing PDF files and get them on my Pro will take a lot of time.  Time, I'd rather spend pursuing my hobby - photography.  Not only that, even though I am retired, I still have many things to do instead of my photography.

    Both devices work with Airdrop?

If so, why not drop the PDF from the Mini to the Pro - one at a time, but the process is very fast.

  • iPad 9.7 Pro will be not updated to iOS 9.3.2

I was required to make the update to the latest iOS (9.3.2) on my iPad 9.7 Pro because I heard there were problems.  I've just updated an iPad 2 Air without problems so decided to proceed with the update of Pro.

iTunes does not recognize an update is available, even if the Pro displays a ready to install in settings > general > software update.  'Install' is available for 9.3.2 update.

So, I tried, iPad Pro update while connected to WiFi but not office/iTunes.  When he goes to check the update, I have error saying "iPad not connected to internet", although it is well connected.

No idea how to get around this problem?

    THX

Delete the downloaded backup. One of my friends says that the 9.3.2 update has been pulled for the Pro.

  • AppStore crashes on my brand new ipad 9.7 pro, how to fix

AppStore crashes immediately on my brand new ipad 9.7 pro, how can I solve this problem?

That have you tried so far for example have you tried

-closing of the application via the taskbar of the iPad ( force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support)

-do a soft-reset/reboot of the iPad ("force restart" on this page: restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support)

If they don't fix it you tried:

-backup (purchases by copying on to your computer's iTunes library: file > devices > transfer purchases) and restoring the backup

-l'iPad resetting to the factory settings (after copy purchases through your computer's iTunes library and the print out of documents and photos) and sync just the content back

  • Pencil cases iPad 9.7 Pro to warm up

    Hello

When I use the pencil to Apple iPad 9.7 Pro, the iPad gets warm on the bottom right and right (now in mode portrait). Global warming occurs when you are using Tayasui sketch II and Artrage. Is this normal? Why the pencil would cause my iPad to heat? Painting with my finger or a capacitive stylus doesn't cause global warming.

It is not in itself the pencil. Is that rendering what you want the pencil to do the screen is very CPU intensive and graphics. The iPad works hard.

  • Import XAVC-S video for iPad 9.7 Pro

    Hello

I'm about to buy a Sony A5100 to capture high resolution video in format XAVC-S.

I have been see in online forums that the iPad Pro is unable to manage the import of larger files (more than 15 sec or almost), despite being promoted as a K 4 x 4 video editing machine!

Apparently the same problem persists when you use lighting to the USB Camera adapter. It was suggested that the NEW lighting USB3 adapter might work as it supports higher rates of transfer (4 K), BUT I just found out that it is only the 12.9' Pro who did USB3.0? Apparently, the 9.7 has USB 2.0.

It's really frastrating given the poor marketing. What I want to do is simple; Record videos on my camera high resolution and change it on my iPad 9.7 Pro without the need to import first to a mac.

    Any help would be appreciated.

  • iPad 9.7 Pro falls constantly WiFi

I am desperately looking for help, before returning my second new iPad Pro and return to my iPad 2 Air.  My iPad 9.7 Pro simply refuses to maintain a compatible Wi - FI connection.  I have other Apple devices in my house, including a 2 Air iPad, iPad Mini 4, iMac, retina 15 MBP, 5 K and two Apple TV.  None of my other devices have connectivity issues either.  For my wireless network, I use the newest Apple Airport Extreme AC.

I contacted AppleCare telephone support, spending a combined 4-5 hours with different technicians.  Unfortunately, their advice was to return my iPad Pro.  This problem is a regular problem.  The iPad Pro deletes the WiFi connection every 30 seconds to 1 minute, which is more noticeable by using FaceBook Messenger - it decreases constantly and reconnects.  Only, I'm stumped on this one.  I thought Apple Care support would run a diagnostic tool or else where this problem is consistent and would be easily observable in these tools.  Unfortunately, the only suggestion was to send it back.  This is the first time that I personally had Apple Care support fail to solve a serious problem, leaving me with no procedure.  I returned the first Pro of Apple iPad, I bought.  The second new iPad Pro, I bought at Costco and I have the same number.  I guess that an argument could be made that it is my wireless network which is the issue that two consecutive new iPad Pros have had the same problems.  However, I have no problems with other wireless devices on my home network.  My iPad 2 Air works perfectly via WiFi.

I can put my iPad 2 Air and iPad Pro side by side.  My iPad 2 Air maintains a WiFi connection, receive regular notifications of iMessage, FaceBook Messenger, Gmail and Outlook.  When I get out my iPad Pro at home during the work day, I come home and it's been offline all day (easily noticed in Apple Mail app-'present' time), and the WiFi icon is not present on the top left of the screen.  It usually takes a minute or two to reconnect, then all the notifications come flooding in.  When I travel for work, generally the Hilton Hotels family. I also have this same problem of WiFi at these hotels - the iPad Pro will not maintain a WiFi connection.

I have a simple wireless home network, provided by my Apple Airport Extreme AC.  I do not use VPN connections, redirects the port or anything that might complicate the situation.  I have a absolutely rock solid 200 MB internet connection cable.

I'd listen to their advice, especially if I am in the window of their return policy. It is simply not worth my time trying to get a device to work when it should work out of the box.
