iPhone 4S storage

Hey guys!

I have some problems with my iPhone 4, iOS 9.3.4 version. Apparently, I have only 268Mo of storage space left but when I plug my phone into my computer and check iTunes, it seems that I have 2 GB of storage space left. There are no songs on my phone and no pictures, I put them on my computer when I received a notification telling me that my storage space was almost entirely filled. I have a few apps, but they don't take a lot of space.

Could someone explain to me what is the problem with my phone?

Thanks in advance!

I suspect that you have a corrupt application that is tied up in storage and not showing is not on iTunes. If so, your only choice would be a system restore but restore from backup could bring corruption. Try to restore your phone as new first and test it.

The system restore. First save your device via iTunes. Also import your photos on your computer and copy all the data if possible. Reconstruction of the support first test and test. If this does not help, you may need to restore as a new and reconfigure from scratch as the backup may be damaged. It is important to have your photos and your saved data separately from the backup. Here are the steps for a restoration:

I have a 64 GB iPhone 6s and 200 GB of storage iCloud. Whenever I plug in my iPhone and watch my storage, I see that I have Photos 14.12 and 27,67 GB of data and Documents on my iPhone. However, I use iCloud for photos and helped my office and documents on my MacBook Pro to be accessible from iCloud. My question is, why do I all this on my iPhone when I thought that it would be on iCloud? Wouldn't that means that it would not directly on my phone and I have a lot more space on my phone?

(Hard drive in the sky)-based solution to what you think, is that iCloud is a traditional cloud, but in fact, it is not.  It is a system of synchronisation/mirroring, i.e. post all your data and fills in all of your devices is available immediately.

If you are looking for traditional storage cloud base, you will need to consider options/third-party applications, for example for pictures - Flickr, Dropbox, Google; and for notes - Evernote, Google Dungeon, etc.

  • Optimize my iPhone photo storage

My iPhone says that I have 20 GB of photos stored. I do not know if those that are stored on my iPhone or iCloud. How can I know who is who or both? I want to free GB of space on my iPhone. Thanks for the tips!

    Hello

If you use iCloud photo library and also allowed the option optimises iPhone storage (settings > iCloud > Photos), then iCloud photo library automatically manages the size of your library on your iPhone.

If you are not already using iCloud photo library (including the optimization option), then you can consider doing.

The optimization option attempts to free storage on your iPhone by keeping versions space saving on your iPhone and the full-size originals in iCloud. Photos and videos are optimized on your iPhone automatically, if necessary.

Note that when you use iCloud photo library, removal of a photo or a video on any device that uses the service deletes also all other devices that use the service, including to iCloud.

The following resources may help explain how the photos and videos are managed by iCloud photo library:

  • iPhone says storage iCloud is complete but more than 2 GB available

For a while my iPhone was to tell me that the iCloud storage was full and so pictures were no longer being downloaded.  I therefore spent some time to remove things and have now - according to OS X and iOS - 2.4 GB available.  However pictures is always telling me that without photos or videos are uploaded.  Login to iCloud and looking at the photos confirm that nothing has been transferred for 5 weeks.

It seems to me as if a switch is triggered when I hit the buffers, but it was not delivered to zero since I cleared a space.  Any ideas what I need to do to get it working again?

    Thank you.

Go to settings > iCloud > Backup, then tap Back Up Now. If you still get an error of not having enough space, you must keep remove content, content transfer like the photos to a PC/Mac or upgrade your iCloud-storage space. • iPhone 6 complete storage, but should not be

I had a problem with my iphone 6 storage saying that it is complete and in the last year.  I did a system restore a couple of times to get the part of the rear compartment, however, it appears more frequently and the restoration is almost necessary every month!

I thought with the update ios 10, he'd be better, but I got another message this morning saying that my storage is full. This phone has a capacity of 12 GB and shows that I've used GB 11,51 with 389.2 MB of free space.  I have 2.4 music and about 3 GB in all my other apps, including images.  Who only adds up to 5.4 GB, less than half the capacity of the phone.  ITunes does not show an another 6 GB of 'other', but only about 1 GB.  How can I erase this upward?  The restoration was not effective for me.

    Thank you

The following steps should help with erratic behavior. They assume that all the content you want on the device in your lending library for the restoration. If not see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device first. I would also recommend you copy everything off of the camera, if you have not already.

    1. Backup device.
    2. Restoration as a new device.
    3. Restore the backup that you made earlier.

Use a backup encrypted if you want to keep passwords, wi - fi settings, history and health web data as appropriate.

  • I deleted ALL the music of the iPhone 6 and I still get the message saying storage ON PHONE is full - why? It shows 0 (zero) gig available - there is NO solution t this question - again! Anyone who responds to get my smile of approval.

Searched these forums for a while and all I see is frustration-someone ' one has a slution to this ongoing problem, I tried the suggestion of wiping out cloud & synchronization still but no solution. Almost removed all applications, but always said "iPhone full storage" and in places-0 (zero) bytes of available storage. So many people have this problem, so I thought I would make a second time to a point - I tried of you "recently deleted" photos as well but - even managed to remove the u2 album that no one seems to want to

You have WhatsApp? If so delete it and reinstall.

  • Hello. I so want to know if there is a way to keep the photos on icloud and get them deleted on your iphone, so that there is no problem of storage of the device

Hello. I so want to know if there is a way to keep the photos on icloud and get them deleted on your iphone, so that there is no problem of storage of the device.

iCloud is a synchronization system, not an external 'hard drive '. If you remove them on your device, they will remove icloud. To increase the available space, go settings/iCloud/Photos and select optimize iPhone/iPad storage. That will reduce the space required by 90% when it is fully effective.

  • ios9 optimize storage of iphone does not?

I have an iPhone 4S with 16 GB of memory running with iOS 9.1... I have run out of memory and decided to use the option 'optimize iPhone storage '. I currently have about 4 GB of photos on this phone. I am using iCloud photo library and have confirmed that the photos were indeed uploaded to iCloud. Even though I have "IPhone storage to optimize" checked, my pictures are always 4GB expands on my iPhone. I don't optimization works. Any ideas?

    Thank you, Mike C

I don't think Apple has released the details in-depth the feature, but what I've seen so far indicates that the photos will remain on your phone to their size, until space is needed for something else. It occurs immediately after the activation of the iPhone Optimize storage option.

  • storage when not full iCloud

I've been struggling with iCloud storage; I use that 51.6 MB all previews (iCloud.com, iPhone Manage Storage, storage manage Mac) but the bar below says I only 647 MB of available space (so 4 + GB used instead on 52 + MB).

I removed a big folder, two days ago, but apparently not refresh. I deleted all files in backup (on iCloud.com modes of recovery). But it keeps telling me that the iCloud is full.

    Any suggestions?
