  The optimization option attempts to free storage on your iPhone by keeping versions space saving on your iPhone and the full-size originals in iCloud. Photos and videos are optimized on your iPhone automatically, if necessary.

  Note that when you use iCloud photo library, removal of a photo or a video on any device that uses the service deletes also all other devices that use the service, including to iCloud.

I keep trying to synchronize and even though I have about 28GB of available, it will not put the songs on? and it usually takes off of my same Favorites deleted all my photos. and I deselected option "import only checked in the songs" so, as I don't know?   I would recommend that you let your library checked except for all the elements that you would normally jump and exclude from your device, like a bonus interview track, then set this option back on.

  If you enable the sidebar (Ctrl + S), select the device in the sidebar, and then look at music in the device, see greyed on circles dashed against some of the tracks? If so the following approach should resolve things. They assume that all the content you want on the device in your lending library for the restoration. If not see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device first. I would also recommend you copy everything off of the camera, if you have not already.

  1. Backup device.
  2. Restoration as a new device.
  3. Restore the backup that you made earlier.

  Use a backup encrypted if you want to keep passwords, wi - fi settings, history and health web data as appropriate.

  I have a 16 GB iPad, but in the settings it says that 11 GB of capacity. I am aware of system files, but thought it was a lot, its 4.3 GB so its loss of 30 percent of storage.

  I only have 72 MB of free space and only have 30 videos, 765 photos and 35 apps on my iPad. How can I check the actual file of these sizes, so I can free up storage.
