iPhone 5 c clock freezes

IiPhone 5 c. Clock freezes when the phone is locked. When unlocked clock restarts as soon as the phone is automatically locked, locked switched off etc. It then keeps time (although still wrong) until this that locked again. Tried another Sim Card. Time has been set manually and automatically and reset a total phone. Nothing worked!

Try a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose anything.

If a force restart does not help, try a system restore. First save your device via iTunes. Also import your photos on your computer and copy all the data if possible. Reconstruction of the support first test and test. If this does not help, you may need to restore as a new and reconfigure from scratch as the backup may be damaged. It is important to have your photos and your saved data separately from the backup. Here are the steps for a restoration:

If the steps above do not help, you may need to test it on an Apple Store

  • Clock freezes in the docking station

I have the docking of Milestone 2 and recently I found the clock freezes randomly while my phone is in host mode. The separator flashes but the time does not update. This affects the main clock display and the time in the notification bar.

If I lift the phone out of the docking station or press the power button two times then the time updates immediately. This problem is intermittent, sometimes the clock works normally, at other times, it will freeze. Earlier tonight for example it froze, I lifted it out successor and it froze again. I repeated the process and it works correctly (for now at least). I restarted the phone, but the issue does not appear to be linked to the availability, as I experienced it immediately after a reboot.

I have seen this issue a few times on the retail firmware, the Milestone 2 was released last year.

This question seems to have been fixed with the update, which will be published shortly in Europe.

I will announce when it is available.

  • Computer freezes for a split second every 3 seconds, the cursor disappears for a split second and the clock freezes and restarts.

Original title: OS time questions continuum (microfeezes)

It seems that my computer freezes for a split second every 3 seconds approximately. My cursor disappears for a split second, and because the clock freezes and restarts, it displays a worst time of the day. Audio and video have the same gel splitsecond. The problem persists in safe mode. Dell Inspiron 1520, servicepack2 of vista running. I've never had any problems with this machine. Here's a video I took of the number: http://youtu.be/fbUeK8U7wHw

I would like to know if there is other info/specifications that could be useful.

    Thank you.

    Good,

    1:
Updated the chipset drivers even though it said I was with the best.

    2:
Run a SFC scan, which revealed no violations of integrity or files not repaired.

    3:
five hours and 8 infected files later, my computer is totally cleaned.

I opened the event viewer, but I don't know what I'm supposed to be looking for. There are many changes to the machine because it began to act up, which were intended to correct the problem. I installed the Service Pack 1, then 2, scan MS Safety and new chipset.

I also ran a memory diagnostic, but all was well.

What should I look for in the event viewer? I know that the problem started in a 12 hour window. Should I save and post the logs at the time?

There is a certain mystery. We need Sherlock Holmes.

    -UPDATE

I have reset the system to its factory settings. Now, it's as if it were new.

The problem persists. He still hiccupping. It freezes again for a few milliseconds about once per second. And I'm going crazy.

    UPDATE 2-

The computer was closed for about 12 hours and when it restarted and Windows initialization complete, the problem disappeared. It works normally for a vintage computer 2007. I'll let you know if I learn more.

  • iPhone 6 more hang freeze issues

My iPhone 6 more guard suspended (gel) for the past 6 months, I have to reset the whole phone sometimes up to 2 times just to get it to work again. Been a loyal (including my entire family) custome since gen 1 iPhone, iPad, mac book. Am really disappointed with the quality now. Did not bring to the service center since the first day of the problem because I thought that was just a few bugs & was sure that apple will fix it, but after many update of iOS so far, the pesisit still problem.

iPhone is more quality I've known, hope apple can fix this problem before finally losing the most loyal customers

    Hello BennyFoo,

Thank you for bringing your iPhone freeze questions here for Apple Support communities. I understand how it is important to have a reliable phone. I'm happy to check this with you.

The first thing we want to make sure that all of your data on your device is safe. You can perform a backup in iCloud or iTunes using this article: backing up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Once your data is safe, try to turn off your device, then again on the March. Sometimes, that's all that is needed for connections reset and everything working properly again. This article help from Apple will help you to do: restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. If you are still having issues, try force reset then. It is designed to be used when the iPhone does not respond, and it looks to be the exact symptoms that you are experiencing right now.

If you still experience the same problems after reboot, please try to restore your device from a backup by using this article help: restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from a backup. If you don't have a current backup, please try this help article: If you can not update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Please pay close attention when you get to step 4 who said "when you see the option restore or put to update, choose update. iTunes will try to reinstall iOS without erasing your data. "to get your iOS reinstalled. Test if the issue is still ongoing.

Thanks again and have a great rest of your day.

  • iPhone 6 more - screen freeze

    Hello

I just got a new iphone - 6plus 126Gigs (less than week last to replace a defective battery) and the screen started to freeze - a lot. I don't have many applications and have done full reinitialization etc.. But it continues to be several times a day. In addition to reset the phone, there are all the other patches? Restart the phone that each this happens isn't a viable solution (or always works).

It is fully updated with iOS 9.2 so I am at a loss as to what may be the issue.

Thanks in advance for any help,
    M

I use I phone 6 s and encountered the same problem, my phone got stuck and did not function for a minute or two, but it sets itself automatically after two three minutes and during that time I had almost a mini heart attack ;-)

  • the iPhone 5 c code freeze screen buttons

In recent days, I had intermittent problems with freezing keys trying to enter my password.  Sometimes the keyboard does not work.  Sometimes, the Enter key will freeze with the key highlighted in gray.  If I exit from this screen and then return to the password screen, there eventually may get to accept my access code.  Does anyone else have this problem?

    Hi Dave Sagamore,.

I see you are a new user here in the Apple Support communities - welcome! I hope we find you often contributing in the future.

Looks like the screen of your iPhone becomes insensitive intermittently. I suggest troubleshoot you by following the steps in this article - If the screen of your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch does not respond to touch.

  • System tray clock Freeze

The system tray clock displayed in the lower right of the screen constantly to update.  When I click on the clock, the SYSTEM clock is running and is accurate.  But the small digital display in the tray stopped and stops again.  I can restart the display by restarting WIndows, but this seems a bit drastic.  My wife uses her clock on time online classes she teaches.  And this morning she is represented () because the status bar clock stopped at 9:10, but the analog clock in real time on the wall says 09:35 when she looked up to her.

It runs on a HP Pavilion under Vista Home Premium laptop with all the latest patches installed.

The research of the "freeze system tray clock' do not turn anything relevant.

When the system tray clock hangs, this means generally that the Explorer has snagged.  Explorer is normally the process responsible for the painting of your taskbar and the system (including the clock) status bar.  However, you can click on the clock itself and get the system time, which suggests that the Explorer always meets the entrance.

You can try this as an experiment: start Windows in Mode safe mode and see if it happens again.  Safe mode reduces the number of modules at random who embarks.  If Safe Mode makes the problem goes away, you'll know that it is caused by some software or driver you added to the machine.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry 9360 with clock freezing point Curve every few minutes?

    Hiya,

I have this problem with my BB C 9360. It does this when I have NO background running application except the ubiquitous five - BBM, MSG, calls browser (do not use!, but it is just there still-_-) and home. There is no white behind the clock widget screen, but sometimes, when she disappears a white creen flashes, like, a second and then my BB starts frantically trying to do things, he was invited to before freezing - it's frustrating and I'm worried - it is barely 2 months old!

I looked through forums and other things and everyone says its cos of the apps but I have 1 single extra application on my bb and I actually removed 2 apps it is came with; PPL say it's because of the memory full, but I only have about 300 songs and 100 photos on a 16 MB Memory Card o___O

He started last week and gradually started from 1 - 2 times per day for 1-2 times every 5 MINUTES this morning, while I was trying to delete some MSG and using bbm surveys

HELP I don't know what the problem with it...

in the browser options = clear the Cache, clear the cache in all the other apps that have a cache, also on the home screen press and hold the ALT key and press LG LG then optiions clear log. should accelerate and stop the gel as well

  • The menu bar clock freezes after recovery from sleep mode

After the upgrade to Sierra, I noticed that the clock in the menu bar (top right) show wrong time.  This occurs when the iMac comes out of his SLEEP.  When I hoover the pointer of the mouse on the clock, it would turn into a spinning ball (i.e. no response).  I have to disconnect and reconnect so that the clock in the menu bar to indicate the correct time.  She would continue to work until the next time that the iMac comes out of SLEEP.

    Anyone facing this problem?

Have you tried booting in safe mode (hold down the SHIFT key at startup)? The problem persists?

If you create a new user account, does?

I also tried to turn if off and the power button was unresponsive. I waited until the screen fell asleep and pressed the home again, the screen came, I was able to reconnect and use my phone. You don't know why it froze and the home/power buttons did not? Help! My phone is not even a week

I don't know why it 'frozen' or the other.  But a forced restart might help "reset" things:

  • When I try to restore my iPhone 6, it keeps freezing on the loading bar.

About a day after buying an iPhone 6 (16 GB), it began to restart loop (the logo of Apple, black screen, Apple logo, etc.) constantly. Over the next few days, this dilemma has happened more often, until I started looking for a solution. I tried everything, nothing worked. Thought it was a software problem, I have so I installed the beta version of IOS 10, hoping that the software does not contain what I well was a bug. He worked, for a day, while the closure began. Then, I visited my local EE store (where I bought the phone). They said they couldn't do anything while he was running the IOS beta 10 in which I installed. So, I put my phone in recovery mode and tried to restore the device. However, when iTunes was finished the extraction software, my phone has decided to restart. The phone was stuck in recovery mode and I could not access the device. I tried to do the restore again, and iTunes extracted the software successfully, however, when the loading bar was revealed, he didn't budge. I left the phone for an hour, which has yet to result in any kind of progression. For the entire hour, iTunes also said "Waiting for iPhone" or something of the kind. I have since renounced solutions after trying several times to restore the phone, which leads only to no progression of the extraction of the software. All solutions?

    Hi AtomicSamantha,

I understand that your iPhone is stuck at the start after trying to restore with recovery mode. I know it's important to have an iPhone that can run when you need it, so I'm happy to provide advice to help this issue.

To eliminate the possibility of a communication problem, the cause, my first recommendation would be to try to restore the iPhone in recovery mode, first with another well-known USB cable, then with another computer well known or network if necessary.

If you continue to have problems with your power on iPhone after trying to restore with all new connections, you can find more information by using one of the Apple here support resources:
