  • iPhone: buying music on iTunes that won't download

    Thus,.

I'm on my iPhone buy simple individual songs and I bought an and now it shows "purchased" in iTunes but when I go to my library of Apple's music, he shows here (in grey), but gives me a "this item unavailable" & «cannot read this article» I restarted my iphone, tried to redownload it but nothing works and I can not even play or buy again.

    Help.

    Hi elizabethenortega,

Thanks for checking out the communities Support from Apple! I understand that you are unable to play a song that you bought from iTunes as it says "this item is not available" and "this element cannot be read. I listen to music on my iPhone all the time so I can certainly understand wanting to make sure that you are able to access all of your purchased music.

You have already tried a few strides to get your work of music! The next step that I recommend trying is to force quit the music app and then re-opening.

Force a nearby application on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

If you still have problems after that, the next thing you'll want to check is that you are connected to the correct Apple in settings > iTunes and App Store. You must be connected to the same Apple ID that you used to purchase the song.

You can also go to settings > music and turn your music library to iCloud turn off and on. This will refresh your library of Apple's music. Remember that this will delete the songs that you have currently downloaded for offline listening and you will need to re - download it again once you turn it back on.

  • iPhone plays music that is not actually on the phone itself

Can someone help me understand why my iPhone (6s +) plays music from my iTunes that is not actually on the phone itself?

When I use my phone in my car and it will automatically start playing on the radio when I turn on the car is. That in itself is fine, but the background music is often times of a reading list that isn't really on my iPhone, but that's just in iTunes on my Mac. Like today, when I put my phone in its cradle in the car and started my car, I had a blast of Christmas music. I removed my playlist of Christmas from the phone in January by unchecking it in iTunes on my Mac. Why my phone starts playing music, or any list of reading which is not on the phone?

Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

If you have a based iCloud service activated as Apple's music a copy of all the music on the computer is placed in iCloud and accessible anywhere with an Internet connection.  You can in turn have your phone to download all your music to iCloud.

  • Gray 6 s more than 128 GB iPhone iTunes music library

I have a new iPhone 6 s more than 128 GB. ITunes music library synchronized from your desktop Windows 10 for iPhone and most of the music is grayed out.

I uninstalled iTunes from the computer Windows 10. I need help to remove the iPhone iTunes library so I can start trying to solve this problem.

    How to uninstall iPhone music?

Contempt as I figured out how delete music from the iPhone. Now cannot get it to sync. The 3 days spent with this iPhone have been a waste of time. I will just return the iPhone tomorrow and back to Android and the cost of this iPhone close to a grand! I can install the iTunes on an Android library and play it fine and use as ringtones. However, iTunes is a program from Apple and iTunes is an Apple smartphone, and it is no longer supported on Android! It's unreal.

  • Deleting music from iPhone (impact on...)

    Hello!

I deleted all the music and playlists from my iPhone camera 6.  And I have no music stored in iCloud.

What happens to the music and playlists stored in my iTunes media (on my Windows PC) folder when I connect my iPhone via USB cable.  For example, is there a risk that music on my PC will be deleted if I sync.

In the end, I want to replace the music and playlists that I delete on my iPhone with music and playlist from my computer.

    Thank you.

There is no risk of any music being deleted on your PC if you have deleted the music on your iPhone. Music from your PC will be removed only if you drag voluntarily music in the trash

  • How can I make my default app iPhone music to a playlist?

I created a Playlist named 'Favorites' and because I want the music app to always open in this playlist, I selected Playlists and selected reading list 'Favorites '. But when I leave the music app and re-launch-le, he never remembers that... still, it insists on opening with 'My Music' at the top of the screen, listing ALL MY MUSIC, classified by artists, so I have to select my favorite playlist every time I run the music application again.

The impression that it is not too much to ask to have the music app to remember where it was, so finally you left.   But I don't see any option on my iPhone Settings\Music do remember, making it default to my desired favorite playlist.

The apparent only to achieve, solution is to never force, exit music... I have to keep 'on' constantly, in the background.  I do not do that; I have the smoking habit strength applications when I don't use my iPhone (by going to the main screen, double click the main button and dragging each app, of the road, requiring each app to exit).  I do this because I do not have dozens of applications at the same time suspended in the background.

So, is it possible to the default value of the application a specific playlist music?

    Hello autochthon,.

Unfortunately, there is no way to make the app open to the tab list music default playback. The only available sort options come from the drop-down list at the top of the screen. In the 'My music' tab, you can choose to view music by artist, albums, songs, music videos, genres, composers and complications. In the "Playlist" tab, the drop down options allow you to select a playlist by default to display, or to display all the playlists.

That said, I thought that it is prudent to note that double-clicking the home button and drag on an app is just the normal method of closing a Consider approx. slide out to be the equivalent of iOS of by clicking on the red x, or by pressing Cmd + Q. Force iOS apps quitting smoking is a process more long which includes holding down the lock/sleep button until "slide to power off" screen , then now the home button until the home screen appears (this force resignations unresponsive applications).

All that being said, your best option is probably very one you are not eager to use. Just let the music app open in the playlist tab. leaving an application running in the background is a non-issue for modern smartphones. Apps are now hanging in the background, unless they are approved to update in the background (for example, push, push email notifications). So worry not drain your battery or consume system RAM. Just leave the open music app so that you can enjoy the convenience you're looking for.

    Good luck

  • synchronize music iTunes to fill automatic iPhone memory with little space left.

I have about 10 GB left in my iPhone, and I want to sync music from iTunes Mac (which occupies about 15 GB) with little space left in my camera for other applications (for example, 5 GB).

Find where I can tell iTunes to sync only 5 GB of data, something like leave "x" GB in iPhone device.

I have sync selected playlists and automatically fill free space.

    iTunes version: 12.3.2.35

    iPhone OS: 9.2

    Hello Friendtam1,

I understand that you are wanting to fill your iPhone with music, but always leave space. Back on what are your options for this.

All having an option to auto-fill for your iPhone is not available, you have the option to manually manage music. This means that you can drag and drop the music you want on your iPhone. With this option, you will see the use to change and can stop it when you feel you have enough storage to the left. Take a look at the article below for more details.

  • iPhone software update leaves without a flashlight

I have installed the software to our devices. I use the integrated flashlight of the lock screen to make phone calls.  Now his party and the screen displays an icon for the iPhone and music controls.

How to bring back my function flashlight?

Someone wants to enlighten us on this.

The iOS 10 control centre is two pages. If you see music orders, swipe right.

  • Problems with music 10 IOS?

On IOs 10 [iphone 6s +], when I play my music, all of a sudden, he cut near the end of the song and plays the next song and it keeps going it to some of my songs. And also the lyrics that I put manually into is gone on my phone.

The music app 10 IOS seems to blur options for start/stop of the media that you have set in iTunes on your computer.  When you play the songs in RANDOM mode on your iPhone, the music app 10 IOS seems to randomly assign hours of weird power your songs.  The only way to avoid this (until Apple released a bug fix) is to disable the ALL Option > Start/Stop time for your songs in iTunes, or not play your songs on SHUFFLE on your iPhone.

  • Smart playlist does not correctly synchronize with the iPhone

I have a list of smart playlist in iTunes on my Macbook chooses 200 songs in my library based on 'least recently played', only checked in the songs, live update. My iPhone is updated via iTunes sync (no iCloud, Apple game, etc.). If I connect my iPhone and view its contents on my Macbook, the reading list "on my iPhone" seems to be the same as for the Macbook. However, when I look at the playlist on the iPhone itself, lack many of the songs in the playlist. They are on the iPhone in the song list, but not on the reading list.

I tried to create a new list of smart playlist with the same criteria... same problem.

I tried to uncheck 'Music' of criteria for iPhone sync (by removing all the music in the phone), then adding back again... same problem.

I created a second smart playlist on my Macbook, which has selected songs using the criteria that they be on the first list of reading ("playlist is equal to [playlist name]"). I chose the second selection to sync to my iPhone. The songs missing from the 1st reading on the iPhone list appear on the 2nd reading on the iPhone list! So the bug seems to be something to do with the 1st playlist selecting songs from the play date function library and iPhone accept not for the determination of the Macbook which happens on the playlist.

It's really weird that the contents of the iPhone shown on the Macbook is not the same as what was on the iPhone. Must I deduce that the contents of the iPhone shows which is assumed to be on the iPhone and not information from the unit itself?

    I use iTunes 12.4.3.1.

Everybody runs into this problem recently?

Update: I tried to sync the playlist to my old Nano, and all the songs are there. So it doesn't seem to be an iPhone / iOS / music application.

  • How to stop the music in the iOS download

How to stop the music in the iOS download songs? I accidentally clicked (stupidly) songs to download all the purchased. It will take some time and fill out my iPhone with music. I tried restarting and that did not help. It is also a priority on updating apps from the App store. I use the latest version 9.3.2 iOS iPhone 6.

    Thank you

I will try to put the device in Airplane Mode, then signature of the iTunes and the App Store. Then try to disable airplane Mode. While you are not connected to the iTunes Store, you should not try to download on the phone once you turn it off airplane mode.

  • Apple music app crashing on iOS 9.3.2

Apple music constantly crashing on my iPhone 5 c running iOS 9.3.2. What can I do so that it doesn't crash more?

    Hello there kidflash266,

Sounds like you are unable to use your music app because it keeps closing in on you untimely. I would start by exit music:

Force an app to close the iOS

    1. press the Home button twice quickly. You will see small glimpses of your applications recently used.
    2. slide to the left to find the application you want to close.
    3. push upward on the overview of the application to close.

When you have done this restarts the phone and test the question again:

iOS: switch off and on (restart) and reset

If the problem persists, I would next turn off Apple music and see if the problem persists after that:

    Go to settings > music...

    • Show Apple music: Apple music members can show or hide the music content from Apple. To hide for you and new buttons, turn off show Apple music.

    From: settings music

If it works, then turn it show Apple music and test the question once again to ensure that it continues to work.  It may very well be the case that Apple music data should be refreshed.

If the problem still persists and you have iCloud library enabled, then then I would say turn off this feature as well and new test. Please note that doing so will remove content music Apple you downloaded or added to your library from your phone. Don't worry the music will remain in your 'My Music' when you reactivate iCloud music library, but you will need to register for listening offline:

    Go to settings > music...

    • iCloud music library: With this option, all content on Apple's music are removed iPhone. Music that you bought or synchronized and remains music identified by iTunes game that you added to play offline.

    From: settings music

Then leave the music app once more, and restart again once I have described above and test its operation with this disabled. If it works, then re-enable iCloud library and test again.

If you do not use iCloud library, try to remove and re - sync the music data from your phone that came from your iTunes library.

1 uncheck the checkbox in iTunes as described in step 3 in the following article:

12 iTunes for Mac: iPod, iPhone, or iPad sync

    2. click on apply in the lower right. This will remove the songs from your phone.

    3. restart the phone using the article I posted above.

4 go back and put the check mark in the check box in step 3 in the same article in step 1. This copierait your music to your phone with the same selections that you had before.

12 iTunes for Mac: iPod, iPhone, or iPad sync

    5. test the music again.

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support, beware!

  • Disappearance of music

    Hello!

So, I was enjoying my music on my iPhone, but then:

    1. I disconnected from my U.S. Apple ID.

    2. connected to my Abdel Apple ID.

3 goes to the App Store to download an already purchased app.

    4. I disconnected abdel ID and then in my U.S. ID

    5. now, 'My music' music Apple is empty

    Notes:

-This problem only happens on my iPhone. Music on my Apple Macbook works all sweet as.

-It didn't work either when I tried the instructions in: music Apple Sync on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and your computer - Apple Support

I would like to know your opinion on this issue

Welcome to Apple Support communities, AJ

I use Apple music myself with my son. He signed his ID and lost all its music offline as you did. He again all download them again after signing back with the original code. While this may be a bit confused, there's a great explanation in this discussion.

What exactly means "offline" in the Apple's music?

"Even if you listen to the downloaded local titles that you still need to stay connected to your Apple account music like all the pieces of Apple is protected DRM and check that you have a subscription valid. If you log out of your account with Apple music or you cancel you have more the right to play this music. »

The same situation will occur if also disable you iCloud music library, so be aware of that as well.
