iPhone 5 network locked

just updated to the latest operating system, now my phone says it has now stuck to the original carrier, but I had unlocked in 2013 had no problem until this update

How did you get it unlocked?  The only way to unlock an iPhone permanently is to directly request a release by the carrier, so that it was locked. iPhones unlocked officially by the carrier, in that they were locked themselves re - lock not update rstore, p or iOS. If you used another method, then it's been hacked to appear unlocked and has indeed locked to the original carrier, it was sold as locked.

  • Are the US 3 G Xoom network locked?

    Hi all

I live in Australia and I am wanting to buy a Motorola Xoom. I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab for the moment but would really like the larger screen. The Xoom is not for sale yet in Australia. I'm looking to buy a Xoom slightly used on ebay, if I can, but I'm afraid it might be network locked.

I could verify that the USA 3 G is the same as the Australian 3G (with the service provider I use) it seems that there are no compatibility issues. It seems that the Xoom, the American version of the 3G is sold by Verizon and I would like to know if they are network locked or if some are and some are not, so I have an idea of what to look for in trying to find a.

    Thank you kindly

    John

Telstra has announced that it will sell the Xoom month next in Australia.

  • What _is_ 'Network Lock' exacfly...

as opposed to, say, 'wireless scecurity' (that is, an encryption standard selected) or a router access password?  Nothing I saw in the docs of Network Magic explains this feature more precisely to say that he "locks intruders out of your network."  So, my question is how?  What configuration of router handles this?

My environment of Network Magic is as follows:

Toshiba provided by Comcast cable modem (model # not practical because I'm away from the computer)

Router Linksys WRT54GS, access protected by password

Computer HP Pavilion Elite HPE204f running Windows 7 Professional

Network Magic 5.5, latest updates from 01/06/2010 download

I use a trial download of Network Magic 5.5, who has no trouble finding my router Linksys WRT54GS - manually pre-configured with change default SSID and password, SSID broadcast disabled, active / WPA2 key, filtering by active MAC address, etc.- and connected devices (currently 1 laptop wireless, 1 Wired printer) or decide that WPA2 wireless security is active and dsiplaying WPA2 passphrase under "Wireless security."

However, "Network Lock" is shown as "Disabled" and, at least from the 1 click, Network Magic says that it 'cannot be configured for the router."  As other security measures are in place and active, I guess that I can't live without "Network Lock" if I have to, but I would like to understand precisely what I live without.

Thanks in advance for all the lights.

Network locking is a feature similar to the MAC address filtering. Each device has its own MAC address by selecting the network locking, only authorized devices to connect to your network.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.

Go into the bios and change the S3 S1 sleep sleep.

Then go to control panel in Device Manager and CHECK United Nations the box on the local cable network that says "Allow windows to turn off this device to save power".

  • How to unlock an iPhone 6 and lock Activation

I can't use my iPhone because of a blocking problem of Activation which began this morning.  He asked my Apple ID and password used to configure iCloud.  I reset my Apple ID several times, to access my Apple ID page and received E-mail stating that the reset is successful.  But when I entered the last reset password in the block page for activation on my iPhone, without success. I noticed that the example of Apple ID is "[email protected]."  My Apple ID understand "icloud.  My current ID does not include "icloud.

According to my iPhone Activation help a password is necessary because "his owner used find my iPhone to establish links with their ID of Apple."  If this is your device, enter the Apple ID and password you to configure iCloud. "I did not use find my iPhone.

This is my iPhone.  Help of activation continues to say, "enter the Apple ID and password allowing you to configure iCloud." My iCloud ID is not the same thing as my Apple ID.  Can I reset or create my iCloud and the password so that I can use it as an Apple ID and password?  Still, I can't use my iPhone.   This is the phone I have until I can activate it.

I bought the iPhone not so long ago.  I do not have the version of iOS.

Thank you for your time and your help.

You will need the password of ID Apple to which the phone is locked. It seems that if it is locked to a different Apple ID that you try to use. Have you ever used another Apple ID? You are the original owner of the phone.

  • Issue of carrier and Iphone compatible networks

So I am currently on AT & T, but I want the freedom to go to any provider I want, so I'll buy an Iphone 7 + from the outset. I looked at a link at the bottom of the order page and it said something like 'see what your phone is compatible with the networks' and the way I read it if I buy a Sprint or Verizon phone they are retro-compatible with AT & T and of T-Mobile networks, but if I buy an AT & T or T-Mobile version that will not work for 2 other carriers Sprint or Verizon? Can anyone help clarify? I don't want to buy a phone that does not work on my current provider, but I also want the ability to switch to any carrier I want. Thanks in advance, Josh

The AT & T and T-Mobile models do not have a CDMA radio so if you are in an area where there is no LTE and Verizon you phone won't be able to connect.

  • Can I sell an iPhone that is locked Activation iCloud

I saw the apple recycling program. I was unfortunately sold a locked activation iCloud iPhone which I can't bypass the activation screen. I decided to bite the bullet and buy an apple iPhone for not you get scammed again. With the apple recycling program am I able to sell back/recycle the iCloud LOCKED iPhone and get the activation credit towards my new purchase or not?

    Thank you

    A frustrated craiglister

Have you tried to contact the person who sold you the phone even once?

Regarding recycling, I don't think you can do, as Activation lock is designed to prevent and protect devices stolen, and despite your explanation, it would be like they tried to recycle and rewards you for a device that cannot be used. While I am just a user like you, you can contact Apple if you want to discover.

  • How to fix iPhone 6 home & lock screen? (and apps)

So my iPhone 6 has been left for about 5 hours and I woke up and it was hot. Applications went so quickly I them all turned off and turned my phone off, so it can cool. 10 minutes later, when it got cooler, I opened it again and there was a transparent box with an arrow circle at the bottom that I can not click and it read: "ESO; The brotherhood of darkness"on the lock screen. (Which is not part of my baggage) I have never played nor heard of this game until it continues to show on my phone. (It is not on the apple store). I tried to turn it off to restart, but it is still there, especially in the dark. I don't know if I should be concerned it shows and disappears when my light is completely upward. But in any case, is it possible to take the transparent app on my home screen and lock? (it also shows on which applications are a bit dark)

Have you tried a forced restart (by building and maintaining home and power until the Apple appears then release buttons to finish to start)? Have you tried to restore from a back to the top? Restore like new?

Edit: it occurs to me that you can also have suggested active apps. Settings > general > transfer & suggested Applications. Cut the two settings and see if that makes a difference.

don't believe there is such a thing as country locked, but if it was locked to a U.S. carrier you have their sim unlock the phone before it will work with other sim cards
