iPhone alarm malfunction

Three times in the last three months my iPhone alarm rang up to 38 minutes later for when it was created.  The first time it happened, I thought that I had slept in or made a mistake in setting the alarm, however, it just happened again and I know absolutely that it was an error of the iPhone.  Please notify.

Try a forced reboot. This sometimes helps heal odd unexplained issues. No data is lost during this procedure. Hold on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

Realizing that you will have to wait a while to see if it happens again, just make sure that you have all the bases covered such as checking the settings > general > Date & time, make sure that the time is correct and the value automatically and the time zone is correct.

One final thought, what happens with built in correct clock app? There are a lot of apps/wake-up in the App Store, so it's another app behaves badly, you might want to delete it and download it again.

  • iPhone alarm will not turn off and between screen Hello.

IPhone of my mom 6 and my brother 6 iPhone have experienced a problem when they set an alarm. • iPhone alarm sporadically not working since upgrade to iOS 9.3.1

I have an iPhone 6 and the morning after updating to iOS 9.3.1 the recurring alarm didn't wake me up. I thought that maybe somehow I turned it off, went back to sleep and just do not remember but the next morning it happened again. Only this time, when I got my phone, I could see that the alarm was still ongoing off the coast, but there was no sound, even when the ringer has increased. A test, I set an alarm for the next minute, and it went very well.

I deleted all my recurring alarms and add them as new, hoping that will fix any bug and it was working well for about a month, but it happened to me this morning. I looked at the phone and did not have the alarm off silently or the other.

Has anyone else had a problem? I guess I'll buy a real awakening since I can't trust my phone.

Try a forced reboot - after open applications using the app Chooser - invoked by fast double pressing the home button and drag upwards on each app until it disappears from the screen.

Meet the sleep/wake and home buttons down until you see the logo  - then release and allow normal start upward

Also try using a different configuration sound - sounds and see if it has an impact

  • alarm of the iPhone 5 won't play music

I have an iPhone 5, iOS with 8.

I set my alarm to play a ring tone instead of a healthy normal alarm, and until very recently, the song plays when my alarm goes off. However, it began to not play the piece and will only play the alarm sound. When I change my alarm, it shows that the song has been set, and it plays when I click on it in the settings. I tried to create new alarms and set it to play the song, but that has not worked.

I would be grateful for any help or suggestion.

    Thank you!

    Hello pookielala,

As I understand it, there is a problem of playing a song as a ringtone for your iPhone alarm 5. Try to flip the ring/silent switch on your iPhone to ring, as shown here:

    Ring/silent switch - iPhone

If the problem persists, try restarting your iPhone as described in the article below.

  • iPhone lack of quarter alarm messages

With the new iOS 10 and watch 3.0 alarm messages that I put on my phone is no longer appear on the watch. It is quite annoying because now when the alarm on the watch I don't know what it is for without checking the phone. This worked perfectly on older versions of watch and is mystifying as to why someone might think it's a good idea to eliminate that from the latest version of the software.  I talked with people in the Apple store Genius Bar and they agree, it changed and our just as puzzled as to why.  I use several alarms to keep me the calendar during the day and I want the watch to display what the alarm is for. I hope that Apple will fix this in the next version. Does anyone know the status on this?

    Hello

I'm afraid that no one here can tell you about what of Apple's unannounced plans (there is a community based on the user).

If you do not want to ask Apple to restore the ability of the watch to display labels for the alarms set to the matched iPhone, you can do it here:

  • How to set an alarm on my watch unless it is also put on my iPhone?

I have a Apple Watch (series 2) and an iPhone 6, two running the most recent versions of the OS. I put an alarm on my watch and when it fires, it is also an alarm on my iPhone. I just want to turn off the alarm on my watch and I want to shut up my iPhone.

    How can I do this?

If you set an alarm on the watch itself, and he made his appearance in the list of alarms on the phone? Or is it just by alerting you on the phone?

From this page of the User Guide Apple Watch, http://help.apple.com/watch/#/apd27ce65478 , that it would work on the other hand, but an alarm on the Watch not push to the iPhone or the alert on the iPhone. I just tested this on my watch during the drafting of this response and an alarm on my watch was not on the phone or the alert on the phone. Is it possible that you did not create a new alarm, but rather edited a?  Sorry, is not of importance, like all of the alarms on the phone doesn't actually appear on the watch, only the alert is pushed to the watch.

  • iOS 9.3.2 stops iPhone when my alarm is set to wake up

Instead of my alarm in the morning, my phone turns off. How can I fix?

It is best to do a software restore after certain things do not resolve it.

    • Step 1: Have you recently make updates and the problem occurred since?
    • Step 2: Have you recently downloaded any new application? If so, remove them.
    • Step 3: Reboot your device.
    • Step 4: Reset the device (home and power until the Apple logo button, then release both).
    • Step 5: Make an iTunes backup and restore of the iTunes software again WITHOUT a backup.
      • Step 5: If the problem persists without putting a backup back it's a hardware problem.
      • Step 5b: If the problem has disappeared, it's somewhere in the software. You can choose manually introduce again the backup or use the iCloud features to retrieve the most important data such as iCloud Photo, Contacts, calendars, Mail, etc..

  • How to get an ALARM on the watch, once my iPhone is disconnected.

Well - it happened again. I forgot my iPhone yesterday - just the home and not in some (worst) restaurant and it made me remember what I expected my Apple Watch do - right out of the box last year:

1.) when I leave my house and that you forget to take my iPhone with me the watch should generate an alarm (buzzer and sound.)

(2.) it would work in the opposite direction: the phone would have me alarm when it disconnects from the watch.

Does anyone know of an app that would - or could we expect something like this in a (or the) next update?

Apple has not announced the content of the next version so that nobody knows-

There are applications in the App store now who can do a little of that now as like Lookout

Hi, on my iPhone > grouping > page layout... I do not have access to my: weather, camera, phone, google maps, stopwatch, photos, world clock, alarm, training, messages, monitor activity, mail, wallet, music, shazaam, go pro... I had them before, but now no more.  Why

    Hello

If your applications do not appear in the implementation in the app shows, it can help to restart your iPhone and your watch. Close the two devices together, and then restart your iPhone first:

    -To switch off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off;

-To switch on: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

It took until this morning, when I woke up before my alarm and reset at 09:00 instead of 08:00, that I shook are waking up to the sound of silence and found my iphone off. That's when I realized my alarm is turned on but not jump since this all started. My software is up to date. We tried turning off of siri, a difficult start and a reset. The only thing we haven't tried is a factory setting reset and reinstalling my most recent upward. I currently have a song on the applemusic selected as my sound app alrm.

    Thanks for the help,

Try using a built in alarm. With the help of songs proved to be problematic for some people. If this doesn't solve your problem, the next step would be to restore back to the top, then, if that was not able to restore as new.

  • have iPhone 6 more how we set up an alarm?

I have an ipone 6 more, how do we set up an alarm?  Also on my Apple Watch, how do I set an alarm, help please!

    JFK

If you want to set an alarm that you want to open the app "Clock" and at the bottom, you should see "Alarm" with an old above her wake mode. Who hit and top right, press on the "+" and you should be able to set the time, how many times it repeats itself, the label and the sound.

For the Part of Apple Watch. You can hit the digital Crown and you should see something that looks like the Alarm key I explained earlier (if your applications are prepared by default it's on the far left). Success that force key on the screen and press 'Add alarm' from there you can do what I explained earlier. Hope you understand how to proceed. Good day!

    4. Tap the alarm you want to edit
    5. His cock down
    6. Vibration of tap
    7. Choose the model of vibration you want to use for this alarm
