iPhoto 9.4.3 frequent crashes
Could use the help of the community. Recently affected by frequent crashes of iPhoto 11 9.4.3. Understand what happens as well to others. Not affected by other applications at this time, nor iPhoto crashes at any point in the past. Can sometimes be intermittent and iPhoto may take up to a minute to open. Seems to work normally today. An overview of this would be much appreciated.
Thank you!

Background:
23 000 pictures many of them annotated including keywords.
Database of record hypermedia garden plant.
Built and used for eMac G4 1.25 in 2004.
Frequent use of search and change the information.
Reported as 51 GB by iPhoto, 78GB by finder, 75GB after reconstruction (see below).
Accident report requires javascript, but not apparently googlemaps.
Same accident report Details each time, give or take, 20 occurrences.
The accident report does not appear to be stored on the disk.
Connected to the administrator privilege.
Extensive experience in the use of the CPU by iPhoto noted in the activity monitor.
System general memory 4 GB or more.
Intel Core i5 at 2.8 GHz
8 GB at 1333 MHz DDR3
Drive internal 1 TB about 45% used
OS X 10.8.5 (12F2560)
iPhoto 9.4.3
iTunes 11.4 (13/09/14, see below)
Maybe in relationship:
Problem started with impossibility to copy / paste from iPhoto to OS X mail.
iPhoto is not plant at that time, not at the beginning.
Photos of several devices that dates back to 2004.
Duplication of metadata... prefix photo jpg file name... cannot be ruled out. Two iPhones.
Recently accepted iOS 9.0 and 9.1 on iPhone used for more recent photos.
Found that iTunes 11 does not support iOS 9 so the phone is not synchronized recently at this time.
iPhoto launches and recognizes the iPhone and downloads of photos, but differently.
11.4 iTunes does not start downloading photos. A change.
Unsynchronized... a change... in time corresponds with the appearance of the accidents of iPhoto.
We don't know if the recent photos of iOS encode geolocation in the metadata or not.
We don't know if the recent photos of iOS are marked for the share on iCloud or not.
Troubleshooting steps:
Applications closing and restarting.
repair permissions iPhoto appeared to complete normally.
iPhoto database repair failed on an attempt and then seemed to complete normally. Crashed immediately.
iPhoto Library Manager executed normally and produced a library refurbished which opened. iPhoto crashed immediately.
GoogleMap and our files also seem to be missing on the mac.
OS 10 disk utility repair permissions appears to execute but does not replace the incorrect permissions for hundreds of files in OS X.
Disk utility. Check the Green drive, ok.
Disabled mcafee virus control.
A lot of older versions of iPhoto 11 this meet right now:
Huxly647 discovered this fix
1 goto /Applications/iPhoto.app/Contents/Resources
2 delete the files 'googlemap.html' and googlesearch.html
IPhoto no longer crashes, site does not work, but it doesn't bother me too much.
BTW, excellent background on the issue.

Could you point me to where in mozilla crash reports that I would find the number of open tabs and memory as being the cause of the accident? (just so I can check after I have try to reset that plugin.exe run to start again I can take a look and see if the memory usage is better - or should I look at the Task Manager for that information also)?
I noted the crush in the report was "EXCEPTION_BREAKPOINT", I guess that's a reason for exception error due to many different causes?
I also noticed a report of incidents listed:

What is the indication of memory, you see?
Are these 'bad' (high usage) values of memory?

What is the origin of the iPhoto 9.4.3 keep crashing on launch.
What is the origin of the iPhoto 9.4.3 keep crashing on launch?
iPhoto 9.4.3 and earlier began planting for many users suddenly a few weeks ago. This is because the contract between Apple and Google for the use of Google maps with iPhoto 9.4.3 and earlier sites expired an elderly couple of months and was not renewed. This is the case of him freezes or crashes.
Now uses Apple its own program for locations maps and too the use you need to run iPhoto 9.5.1 and Mavericks or 9.6.1 and Yosemite El Capitan or Photos and El Capitan.

Re: iPhoto crashes after opening several times in reply to carvermon UsefulI found a solution that works for me.
1 goto /Applications/iPhoto.app/Contents/Resources (control (right) - click the iPhoto application and select the content in the context menu - OT.)
2 delete the files 'googlemap.html' and googlesearch.html
iPhoto no longer crashes, site does not work, but it doesn't bother me too much.
Let me know if it works for you guys...
Deletes two files "googlemap.html" and the googlesearch.html of iPhoto application bundle prevents the JavaScript running inside and causing the accident. Log of course do the same thing. So it's pretty clear that something happened at the end of Google.
Don't forget to make a backup copy of the iPhoto application before performing this procedure.

First Pro CC 2014.2 frequently crashes when switching between programs
I started to program frequent crashes in first Pro CC 2014.2 Mac OS 10.10.3 on my Mac Pro 2013. This problem occurs when I switch to another program, say word or Adobe Audion back to Premiere Pro. I have the dialog box "we're sorry" and the application breaks down. About 50% of the time when this happens - when I reopen it the application that it hangs again - and then on the 2nd re - open it is successful. It's really annoying my workflow to worry about a crash whenever I have spend in AE or hearing. I uninstalled all the plugins, uninstalled and re-installed PP, erased the media cache and reset the preferences. Happening every day on this machine. FYI, I have an iMac 2013 running the same operating system that opened the same project files without this issue - it seems that it is specific to this machine for some reason any...

Is that what someone else sees frequent application crashes on organizing PSE11? I can't really nail the why or how to fix it.
I have a 8 GB/1 TB MBP 2.53 Ghz late 2009 and I'm on 10.8 Mountain Lion. I have about 25K active a mix of RAW, JPEG and AVCHD. MTS (the minority) files. Physical media files are approximately 290 GB on the disc (video he bumps obviously upward). There are at least 300 GB of free space on the drive.
Organizer is a bit disappointing for me. I had many random crashes and the locks on the common application (beachball) for 20-30 seconds until the application comes back again. First answers of the elements in a way and speed that I consider normal - no problems.
Typical example: I'll Potter to do some organization I do, then go away and do something else in another window. I will go back to the application a few minutes later, click on it and the beachball will appear. The app usually comes back, but only after 30 s. There is nothing significant happening on the system. When in general use, the application responds normally, it is precisely these periodicals
I feel that organizing trying to do some kind of system files, scanning or indexing or something like that. This kind of lock place happens a lot when the devices are mounted and not mounted for example
Other comments that may be relevant (or not)
-J' have a NAS and a drive FW (mirror of root) which are connected on and outside
-J' have a BOOTCAMP partition
-Import of a SDHC media is very slow so that scanning devices.
-J' tend to work in hierarchical folders display, for historical reasons and will generally work in a directory to date both
-J' I analyzing media running, but I saw the same thing happens with it turned off
-It took me about a week to consolidate existing libraries on the Organizer, of old archives of PC files and import to iPhoto, but they are all in ~/Pictures now.
-There is no file missing in the library
-According to me hierachichal I can see photos, movies and INTERNAL_HD and BOOTCAMP root file systems
Something just to hit me by writing this? Is it possible organizing attempts to access unavailable sharing / historical somehow referenced in the library, and then it times out? The library has been created from scratch about 2 weeks ago I have try and consolidate on PSE11.
It feels just as if it was automatic, a system of analysis files every now and again, even if it goes against what I read (you need to import)
Any ideas what could help?
I have not abandoned this thread and I wanted to post my latest discoveries. In response to the previous questions
-This is a whole new catalog is created in 11.x.
-J' have programs in my start, but I am sure that they are not the problem - of things like Dropbox, Alfred and a few other utilities. I use other programs like Roboform.
I have in the past PSE9 installed, then run, then uninstalled. Before the PSE11, a few months before I tried PSE10 trial, then decided to wait for PSE11 when I found out about it. I uninstalled them both with the action of dragging to the trash of the Applications. When PSE11 came I then "own installed that.
PSE11 has never worked in the way I thought it should. I was tracing a problem to update the store app unconnected with last night when I became aware of the very many bits left on the system by PSE9 and PSE10.
I used locate ("locate 10.0", "locate 9.0") to find these and gradually purged the directories. Directories such as, but not limited to:
/ Library/Application Support/Adobe/Elements Organizer/10.0/
/ Library/Logs/Adobe/installers/Adobe first Elements 10 *.
/ Users/howard/Documents/Adobe/Premiere elements/10.0
Various *. 10.0.plist files
The other problem I was trying to trouble meant that I did also disk-> difficulty permissions utility on the drive root and I did some app store as well related cache files, I will quote just to be complete, he cannot be bound. I then did a reboot.
The difference was amazing . Where previously PSE11 took 1-2 minutes to start, it is now more like 2-3 seconds. Open the import dialog box takes too seconds as opposed to closer to a minute.
So my diagnosis at this point who might have been left by the previous installation/uninstallations cruft was somehow corrupted the program start and causing this slowdown. If the history of my installation as described previously caused this I don't know.
This sounds like a legitimate causes?
Hope this helps someone else. Thanks to previous posters (Vaishali, Barbara) for their helpful comments and suggestions.

Frequent crashes repeatedly on google maps and eBay and even on this page
I am writing from Internet Explorer because this page is snding firefox head first in an accident. I'm one of the first fans of firefox, but lately, it's crashing frequently on some sites. eBay item pages that have demos 3d and google maps are 2 examples. Even this page crashed whenever I started to be reported in firefox. This is the last story of crashes:

Frequent crashes causing the stoppage of work
I'm having a lot of difficulty with the computer crashes almost all the time making me lose what I'm getting. I have Trend Micro Internet Security installed and run it frequently to keep my computer free of malicious viruses and malware/adware software. I used Dell to help verify the hardware that does not appear to have any problems, therefore leading me to suspect the Windows software. I used the Windows repair without success finally restore the computer to its original state. That didn't solve the problem either so I eventually resorted to reinstalling Windows Vista again which has not cured the problem either. In the process, I also lost all the photos and other files that I would like to be able to restore it if possible. I need help about where to go from here to solve this problem with the accidents, but also issues sometimes get the same opening windows. Help, please!
Hello
Begin with, if the system is crashing after a new installation, then you are missing a necessary driver for Dell equipment or a component is defective. Hardware Dell Diagnostics does not test all the components, just memory and hard drives. You have a motherboard problem.
Precisely diagnose what is wrong is best done by someone with physical access to the machine, but you can post text and details of stop (blue screens) errors and it can lead to some preliminary indications to at least point you in the right direction. To be specific, as "my system crashed" doesn't tell us much, the details are necessary for a significant response.
Continuing to reinstall will not solve the problem. If the system is still under warranty, you must contact Dell immediately to protect yourself from costly repairs.

Please try uninstalling and installing AIR 3.5 from http://download.macromedia.com/air/mac/download/3.5/AdobeAIR.dmgand then AIR click on 'Later' at any time what AIR application if you want to update to the latest version. This is most likely caused because of a known issue with AIR 3.6 which is currently being developed on a fix.

Frequent crashes on all operating systems
Hi, I think that what I have is a hardware problem.
I have a 2012 end iMac that breaks down several times a day, but after some time after installation of operating systems, it becomes slower. I posted my problem in many places, but only in the context of bootcamp, because I haven't used OS x that much. I wanted to get Windows to work if I could go back and forth between the two operating systems and after that it does not work most of the time I use my old computer and tempting to ignore the problem.
First, I will describe what happens under Windows since I saw him most. A program freezes. At this point, I noticed that I can't quit all applications. My internet disconnects. Other programs are starting to freeze. When I try to use the start menu, it does nothing and almost everything freezes. That's when I realize what is about to happen. If I wait about an hour, my computer will eventually BSoD, usually with a kernel_data_inpage_error, but sometimes with others. The strangest part of this all is that I can use my mouse long after all broke, and sometimes I can even use, say, Chrome, although certainly, I can't go out, and when I try to go to a website he tries, but fails to cause that there is not WiFi. Sometimes it shows which driver caused the exception (varies, of course), sometimes not. This happens with or without devices, but it * maybe (probably not) * occur more frequently when I have a connected USB drive. What I tried: install different versions of Windows 15 + total time, mixing how the drive is formatted (bootcamp partition vs Windows install wipes player then internet OS X recovery), version of Windows, diskchk + SeaTools (as say all is well), etc. there is no landfill and there is no log in Event Viewer, no matter how to configure it.
I know it of an Apple forum, for most of you probably don't specialize in Windows, which is what I have observed most, but I had no luck on the forums of Windows, if I have not a thread going right now. I can't find anyone else who has this problem. On OS X, but I don't think it was as much before, lately it's been blocked frequently, and the symptoms are what I imagine would be a version Mac - ey from what I see on Windows. An individual program will freeze, saying Dota 2. I can still pass the screens with ctrl-arrow, but after a minute that breaks. Things are starting to disappear and finally my screen turns black with only my cursor. I've not waited for hours to see what happens at the end, but I'm guessing it will be Mac version of a BSoD. I checked the console and I saw nothing that stands out, but I'm not nearly as much experience compared to the event viewer.
What can I do to try to solve this problem? Sometimes the driver BSoD watch is partmgr.sys, suggesting it has something to do with the hard drive itself, but as an iMac, I can not exactly crack it open and take a look at the cables. Unfortunately I don't have extra money now to buy an external hard drive to install Windows to test. Unfortunately, my warranty has long been upward, which is really frustrating because that's happened since I got it. I should have pursued the issue more away a long time ago. If I explain my problem do you think I could always send it to check?
Thanks for reading. Any idea is appreciated.
There is a separate instance of Boot Camp. I asked that this thread moved here.
You might want the extended hardware test that came with the Mac.
If no problem is there, and a deletion and installation of Windows and Mac OS X give the same breaks down, you can have a RAM problem.
Note the spinning beach balls are not always signs of a problem. You can simply have run out of hard drive space.
http://www.etrecheck.com on Mac OS X is a good diagnostic tool that can tell us if you installed anything on Mac OS X, which can be it slows down, or if you are near capacity.

I can no longer firefox more because of frequent crashes
Now Firefox crashes for unknown reasons, it worked fine with the new computer installed with windows8 for about 2 months, then out of nowhere part, he began to break with every new search on the web, now adobe flash broke down so I deleted Firefox on my computer.
I searched your Web site to find answers, none of them address the issue at hand. I have Norton security, but it also worked well with Firefox for two months, so nothing has changed all of the updates are current and still Firefox no longer works.
It's sad because it was one of the best web browsers available.
but no moreThere is a problem on Windows 8 with Firefox 19 and AMD Radeon HD 6XXX/7XXX graphic display cards.
This issue is currently being addressed in bug 830531.
- Bug 830531 - [Win8] crash in XPC_WN_Helper_NewResolve mainly with AMD Radeon HD 6290/6310/6320/7290/7310/7340
If you have one of these graphics cards so the best is to stay with or downgrade to Firefox 18.0.2 for now.

Frequent crashes / freezes after intsalling 10.11.4
After installing my imac 10.11.4, crashes / freezes several times a day, especially if you are using safari
Try each of them in order. A test to see if the computer works properly:
- Reset the PRAM
- Reset the controller (SMC) system management
- Start the computer in Safe Mode, and then restart normally. It's slower than a standard home.
- Repair the disk by booting to the recovery HD immediately after the chime press keys control and R that the Utility Menu appears. Choose disk utility and click on the button continue. Select the withdrawal (usually Macintosh HD) volume entry of the list to one side. Click first aid button in the toolbar. Hold the button brings up. Disk utility and return in the Utility Menu. Restart the computer from the Apple Menu.
- Reinstall OS X by booting from the Recovery HD using the command and R keys. When the Utility Menu appears, select reinstall OS X and then click continue.
- Download and install updated Combo OS X El Capitan 10.11.4.

Need help w / frequent crashes and kernel panic
Mid 2012 15 "Macbook Pro with the retina display. 2.6 GHz Intel Core i7, 16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 memory Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB,
Number of processors: 1
Total number of Cores: 4
L2 Cache (by heart)
Bought used. Has started crashing more as I use it more. Totally unstable with first CC2015. Seems to be hot on low when he goes, but not always. Often starts with a black screen and backlit keys and nothing else. Reboot again normally not lighten it.
I have reset the system and reset P ram several times. Runs for hours doing light email and surf the web. Accidents with more power of treatment like photoshop or Prime Minister.
I ran avast and malware with aps of no obvious infections.

PC frequently crashes after waking up
I don't know if my mouse is originally, but after that I went to the VX Nano for notebooks, Logitech wireless laser mouse, often, my PC crashes after I wake him up from his sleep. This NEVER happened before that I went from mouse. Anyone know if the mouse drivers causes conflicts on the system or something? I've got SetPoint 4.80 installed to customize the mouse buttons.
FYI, I'm on Vista Home Premium 64-bit. My system is a HP a6614f.
Upgraded to Win7 and the problem seems to have disappeared now.

Frequent crashes on Vista - computer does not crash in SafeMode with network.
Original title: Windows Vista crashes constantly. Computer only works in safe mode with network.
My computer freezes after a few minutes in normal mode. The only way to make it work is in Mode safe mode with networking. It started yesterday afternoon. After the reboot (by now the down power button for 6 seconds) several times, I tried the Mode safe mode with networking. I can access Internet, but some other functions, as the opening photos and sound do not work in Mode without failure. Need help.
Hello

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.
This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:
This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:
-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.htmlFor drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have. Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
each installation.Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
necessary.Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
manually by model.Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
