iPhoto App will not be updated

I got a notification for an update to iPhoto for the last 4-6 months. When I try to update, it does not allow me. I get the message attached below. I am the first owner of this computer (at least that I have lied to me and sold a reconditioned unit), so I'm puzzled by this message. All of my operating system software is up to date. Help, please.

    Try to reset the App Store:

    Close the App Store completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and slide up the App Store preview pane until it disappears from the display. You may be able to pick up the tab App Store covering scribbles to the left.

    Then sign out of the iTunes Store (in the settings).

    Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

    Also try by going to settings > general > Restrictions > and make sure that iTunes Store, Apps install, delete the Apps and In - App purchases are all under the section allow. Try to install again.

I went to different menus to help and try to delete these files specified such as AAMUpdater, OOBE and OOBE1 and then start the creative menu cloud app. Have always the same message that "program does not - close the program." I don't know what to do now. Fortunately, Photoshop still works and I don't want to update now while there are updates available. I don't know what to do.

    I have a game application that will not be updated.  My icon App Store shows that it is there to update and when I go in the updates it is waiting for updates.  However, when I touch to updated the circle with the square in the middle of it fades for some time then returns without doing anything.  In addition the update all the tab is grey indicating there is nothing to update.  Yesterday, I had a bunch of applications up to date and this particular application was for update but didn't.  When I touch the icon on the home screen, it darkens and said wait underneath where the name of the application is generally.  I don't really want to delete and reload the app as it is a game application and all my progress will be lost.  I tried turning the phone then next turn but also a soft reset (hold the "home" button and the Start button / stop until what he died).

    Do a forced reboot - after all open applications using the app Chooser - invoked by fast double pressing the home button and drag upwards on each app until it disappears from the screen.

    Then re download the app

    Only one 1 antivirus/security suite applications should be installed & loading at startup at any given time. Since you do not know what free trial could come preinstalled on the computer, I have to have executed the two removal tools in the steps below.

    1. Uninstall Avanquest System Suite 10 & reboot. [1]

    2. make sure that the Windows Firewall is enabled!

    3. download the Norton Removal Tool, save it to your desktop: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe

    3 b. download tool McAfee Consumer Product Removal, save it to your desktop:http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe

    4. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).

    5. click right on the file you saved in # 3 above and select run as administrator to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then reboot again.

    6. click right on the file you saved in # 3 b above and select run as administrator to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then reboot again.

    7. open Internet Explorer (only) to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058 & run the difficulty in DEFAULT then AGGRESSIVE modes. [2]
