iPhoto iOS

I can no longer do my original images after iPhoto for iOS, apparently, is merged with Photos. Or can I?

iPhoto isn't is no longer works on any version of iOS since iOS 8.  Your iPhoto library should have migrated to the Photos.  What is the problem? Miss the pictures of your library?  The Photos.app is more limited that iPhoto has been.

  • iPhoto (metadata) iOS file information

    Hello

Is it possible to display an info of photo/video (file size, location etc.) contained within the iPhoto iOS application. I remember to see him in the opening of macOS application...

No, sorry.  The Photos.app on iOS devices does not display a lot of meta data.  It just goes to show the date and location, iPhoto on iOS 7 used to be able to show the file name, size, but since the upgrade to iOS 8 and newer, it is more possible. Maybe the 3rd party apps can show this, but I have yet to find any.

  • exporting/sharing slide show by Photos of iOS

This morning, I took a series of photos on my new iPad Pro 9.7 ". When we returned, I looked at them and idly clicked on 'slide show', I had never used before. I found only one) you can choose from different themes with built in music and b) hook it upward at the TV and watch it there. All very cool.

I tried to find a way to save/export the slide show exactly as it was. Starting a project in iMovie did not and I do not have anything cloud related, so it's on. I tried each option/button I could find, but could not understand if there is a way to export/drop to my iMac. I am able to send the photos - but it's not what I'm wanting to do so; Slideshow theme I was using was really cool and it's how I would like to export (as one/loan from finished slide show).

FWIW, couldn't find anything directly relevant in the user guide.

Anyone with ideas? If someone thinks it would be better addressed in the forum iPad (but there is no subcategory of Photos), please moved it.

As far as I know, there is no way to export a slide show of Photos iOS.

He was able in iPhoto iOS. We can share a slide show on a Web page and it fold online, but the creative sharing - books, slideshow options, newspapers Miss pictures iOS.

Not even iCloud library transfers slideshows between devices.

You could try only to recreate the slide show by Photos of the tor on your Mac.

  • replacement of iPhoto

Responsible to see that iPhoto is no longer supported. What is the replacement? The regular photos app is far behind I functionality. you have no tags. Adjusting the image also seems to have been reduced.

The regular photos app is far behind I functionality. you have no tags. Adjusting the image also seems to have been reduced.

You're right - a lot is missing in the pictures.  No tag, none of smart albums, less adjustments, no adjustment brushed for photo books, no, none of the journals.

Pixelmator offers several settings and Photos, but does not support a photo library.

I couldn't find a decent replacement for iPhoto iOS again.

  • iCloud photo stream on Apple TV

    Hello

    Topic says it all...

How should we do about it on a third generation Apple TV?

    Thanks in advance!

    Carolyn

Just to be sure, Carolyn - you use a device with iPhoto iOS installed, which would require iOS 7 or more, or a more recent, but without iPhoto iOS? I'm a little confused, because the issue is in the iOS iPhoto forum.

The Photos.app in iOS 8 or newer will not display My Photo Stream album as an album on your iOS devices, if iCloud library is enabled. Then the photos from my photo stream will appear in the photo album of all.

  • iPhoto will not import pictures from iPhone 5 c after updating iOS 10

    Hi all

After installing iOS on my 5 c 10, iPhoto will not import the photos. It is said that it can not because my iPhone is locked with a password. He does this even when the phone is open, and even though I have my access code is turned off. I use 10.6.8 on a Mac Pro Tour 2006.

Everyone knows about this problem? Can anyone help? Thank you!

    Hi Mark,

I guess it's a problem of compatibility between the leopard to snow & iOS 10 but, as a Test:

Hold down the option (or alt) key and launch iPhoto. In the menu that appears, select 'Create Library'

Import pictures into this empty library. The problem is repeated here?

  • Update to new IOS - now all the photos from iphoto to my macBook suddenly are also on my iphone5S - how to delete photos on my phone without deleting on the macbook?

Hello dear, I need your help.

I did yesterday an update to new IOS - now all the photos from iphoto to my MacBook are suddenly also on my iphone5S - how to delete photos on my phone without deleting on the macbook?

They are very old photo from my childhood so I definitley them do not need on my phone, but on my MacBook, I want to keep them.

Thank you very much for your support.

Check the settings on your iPhone.  Have you enabled iCloud photo library in the settings > iCloud > Photos on your iPhone?  Or "my photo stream?

If you have iCloud library active on your and your iPhone photos sync iCloud and from there will to all your devices.

If you do not want to synchronize on your iPhone photos, clear the iCloud photo library, but do not allow to delete photos from iCloud, or they will be removed the Mac as well.  With the removal of your iPhone, wait until all iCloud photo options have been disabled.

  • iPhoto book questions after iOS update

I recently updated my MacBook Pro (2012) to the iOS of Maverick.  So, I had to update many other applications, including iPhoto. I had a book filled with pictures of family of 2015, but had not printed.  The book came through after the update, but not all of my placed photos are here. I have a few other books (which have already been printed), and their pictures were very good. In any case, I can restore the photos without having to recreate hours of work?  The pictures are still on my Mac. So frustrating!  Thank you for any advice and comments.

Several members of the forum pointed out that the Apple Support told them, that you can not order books iPhoto after March 31. So, everything you do, hurry to order the book.

The book came through after the update, but not all of my placed photos are here.

If you have removed pictures of the library, they will be removed the book as well and will show black.

If the photos are always in the library, get them back to an empty place holders.

  • Is it possible to recover my IPhoto libraries? I just bought a macbook pro running IOS 10.11.3

Is it possible to recover my IPhoto libraries? I just bought a macbook pro running IOS 10.11.3

Back where? If you have had and old Mac running iPhoto and want to use this library with Photos on the new Mac, you can copy the iPhoto library from the old Mac to the new and then migrate to the new application Photos: start with Photos for OS X - Apple support

  • iPhoto still exist in my iOS devices

IN the past, I use iPhoto in my iMac, BUT I did stop using what I use now the new OS X Photo App (automatically tfansfer data between these Apps)

Lately, ive started using ICloud library in all of my Apple devices.

It seems that in my iOS devices iPhoto, always exist instead of Photos (?) ...

    Please see photo

    Why iPhoto events here?

is it possible to duplicate photos?

    Thank you.

What app were open? Products are imported to iPhoto?

  • iPhoto/iTunes sync is no longer to IOS devices

I got a new iPad Air 2 last week and has had to update iTunes 12.3.1.23 to sync it with my iMac Yosemite 10.10.2 running.  iTunes sync is no longer my iPhoto Albums and events to my iPhone and iPad.  Images, faces to events etc. in the Albums of IOS are frozen to what they were before the update to iTunes.

Because the pictures of OSX does not yet support updates by batches, events, 5 levels of favorites, title poster etc. I don't want to go to El captain or OSX Photos until they do.

Is there a solution without going to the pictures and lose these features?

Make sure that iCloud library is off somewhere on your system.

Because the pictures of OSX does not yet support batch updates

    For this

    Events,

Never, then modify your system or finding a new application, as iPhoto is is more developed and someday a version of the operating system will come along where it won't work. You can imitate a version of events with Photo Albums.

    5 levels of favorites,

I guess you mean the side stars here? You can mimic that with keywords - same apply keyboard shortcuts. Has the advantage of conforming to the standards that was not rating stars.

    title displays etc.

Don't know exactly what you mean by that, but you can display under photo images.

  • Cannot find how to install iPhoto om macbook IOS 10-7-5. New with apple

Cannot find how to install iPhoto om macbook IOS 10-7-5.

    New with apple

Have you bought your Mac of opportunity? A new mac should have with pre-installed iPhoto, if the Mac comes with Mac OS X 10.7.5.

If the Mac initially had another system installed, look at the system installation discs, which belong to the Mac. On one of these disks should be an installer for iPhoto and other iLife applications.

If the original system of the Mac is Mac OS X 10.7, there will be no installation disks.

In this case look at the App Store, the fourth purchases tab, if you see iPhoto with a button I agree. Press this button.

If iPhoto is not visible on the purchases tab, the previous owner has accepted the pre-installed iPhoto already to the AppleID and may not be transferred to you. You can buy your own copy.  Apple is no longer develops and sells iPhoto. Try buying an installer of iLife 11 on Amazon or eBay.

iPhoto 11 works most completely, however. The functionality of the site is longer supported on the Mac OS compatible version X 10.7.5, because Apple has only the support of Google Maps.

If your Mac is compatible, consider upgrading to Mac OS X 10.11. El Capitan and the use of the new Photos.app instead of buy a program that is no longer supported and developed.

The Photos.app installs automatically, if you upgrade to El Capitan.

  • videos iPhotos synchronize with iTunes 10 IOS

iTunes is not sync to my iPhone just updated to IOS 10 videos to my Mac Photos app... I tried to delete all photos and videos, and then it would not put videos on when I wanted to only one on... Tried to close all, reboot, problem persists - unable to sync to my iPhone photo videos.

Not sure if anyone else has this problem or if there is a work around. Hoping that it attracts the attention of Apple.

Having this same problem.  Is this by design?  I don't think...

  • Unable to connect the iPad to iTunes or iPhoto

I've improved iOS9 to iOS10 and now can't sync with iTunes or iPhoto on my iMac. iTunes and iPhoto recognize the iPad tries to connect, but display the error messages on the iPad (saying it is locked or has unrecognizable code). How can I fix?

It seems that if you are dealing with very old (outdated) software on your Mac, like iPhoto has not been maintained by Apple since OS X Photos about eighteen months ago.

You need iTunes 12.5.1 or later to communicate with 10 iOS devices.  iTunes 12.5.1 requires OS X 10.9.5 or later version.  (The current version of the Mac operating system is Mac OS 10.12 Sierra.)

My guess is that you are far behind in OS X and iTunes.
