IRIS of Intel 6100 vs NVIDIA GeForce GT 750 M

I'm looking for buy a new MacBook Pro and I was wondering if you have to spend the extra $300 on a NVIDIA GeForce GT 750 M or an Iris 6100 Intel would be OK for After Effects.  Advice would be much appreciated.  Thank you!

You'd better to study the utility of the card in OTHER applications such as Premiere Pro and not EI; AE makes almost no use of these cards.

Yes, it should work without any problems.  I would measure the rear plate i/o on the front of the case to ensure that it enters the space, however.  I would measure the rear plate i/o on the front of the case to ensure that it enters the space, however.  I suggest to buy an EVGA card.  They make very good products and very good Technical Support (1-888-880-3842).

  • XPS Intel HD 4600 Graphics and Nvidia Geforce GT 750 2720 m

    Hello

For about 3 weeks and a few updates to the Windows and Nvidia driver in may 2015, it seems that the Nvidia graphic card is no longer used by the Dell PC XPS 2720.

I tried to just reinstall the drivers of two first from the website of dell and alternately of each Web site from intel and Nvidia.

The two cards are included in the device (Device Manager) Manager, but each time, the graphics card intel HD is the only graphics cards that really works and used by the PC for an application or a game.

I can check with software such as speed of the fan or CPUID, CPUID HW Monitor.

Similarly, if I forced systematically into the control panel NVIDIA, the Nvidia card for the global or individual parameter, the Nvidia card is not used.

Normally the Nvidia should be better for 3D application or games.

Comments, solutions or justifications will be very appreciated.

    Thank you and best regards,

PS: I have read all the previous posts on the subject and I know that the two graphics cards usually work together and have been in the past subject to a number of positions or problems related to their 'recognition' by the PC. I have Windows 8.1.

  • BIOS update failed on Acer Aspire V3 - 772g wth core 5 Intel and Nvidia Geforce GT 750 M

    Hello

because twice the problems encountered during the 2 major upgrade of my windows 10 family last week and 6 months ago I decided to check my Bios.

Then I ran Windows 10 Familly and downloaded the BIOS_Acer_1.13_A_A.exe file from the ACER support site.

My data is backed up. So no question about it.

I've run this file and the PC has restarted.

Surprised but horrible, now I get these messages in the following order:

Welcome to help me. I don't know how to get back on the bios to factory?

I don't know what to do?

    Good day.

    Henri

Boot to the BIOS by pressing F2, and then press F9 and F10.

Check if you are able to start Windows 10.

    If it isn't

Enter the BIOS again by pressing F2 and go to the Startup tab, check if a the Legacy value, if so switch to UEFI, press F10 and reboot.

  • Using Nvidia Geforce and Intel hd graphics card both at the same time for games

    Helloo,

I am new to the community. I bought Lenovo y50 last month. It comes with the dedicated graphics card Nvidia Geforce gtx 860M and Intel HD 4600 Graphics intigrated. Its a portable game even if I am faced with leggings in some high permorfance games.

Can I use the graphics card Nvidia GeForce and Indigrated Intel HD graphycs... the two all in games...?

Thank you... Help will be appreciated...

One thing you can do to ensure the highest perfomance on games is to go to the Nvidia Control Panel programs, manage 3D settings, then find the game you want and set to use only High Performance NVIDIA graphics (or discrete).

You can not use both cards at the same time by writing this (DirectX 11), but with the arrival of Windows 10 and DirectX 12 July 29, you will be able to use both at the same time to increase performance. So far, however, it is simply not possible to use both at the same time. The best option is to use only the GTX 860 M.

  • How can I permanently change the NVIDIA geforce of Intel(r) hd graphics?

I would like to know how can I permanently change the type of adapter display card Intel (R) NVIDIA geforce hd? Previously, when I bought my computer, it is equipped with one chart type-NVIDIA geforce and everything goes fine until I installed Intel(r) hd as you are prompted by windows update. Since then, my computer have encountered many problems, especially when you play high graphics... I tried to move from the graphics card Intel (R) NVIDIA geforce hd when playing games... and yet, the performance is not as good as the last time where I did have only one chart. Because of this, I would like to change or define main graphic geforce NVIDIA and Intel (R) hd as secondary, or if possible, permanently remove the hd Intel (R).

    Hello

well the series GeForce 7600 Series was released in 2006, it is nearly 4 years.

In combination with the Core 2 Duo 2 GHz, you will be able to play games like Battlefield 2 or Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare very decent

    and a half indecent:
    Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, half-life 2, counter-strike: Source, The Sims 2, BioShock, Assassin's Creed, Halo 3, Fifa 07, Fifa 08, for example.
    In general, you can play all the games released in< 2007="" or="" early="" 2008="" depending="" on="" the="" image="" quality="">

But games like Crysis or other DirectX 10 games will be not playable.
I hope this helps a little.

    Hello Tubzoo,

Thank you for posting.  The answer is no.  The Intel g33/g31 express chipset is a motherboard chipset that works with the processor (CPU).  The Nvidia 6600 gt, ATI X 1600 are two graphics processors (graphics cards).  For more information, you can search for the motherboard chipsets.
