Is anyway to prevent the starting loop on an A1-810?

Hello again:

I talked to customer support today via Chat to find out how the repairs were coming along on my A1-810.

And told me according to his records, he was being repaired, so I hope that it will be at least on its way towards me at the end of the week.

My question is in the title.

Is any way to avoid the dreaded Boot loop in these puppies?

In addition to a firmware upgrade from Acer?

I read on another forum is a way to not install any application that needs to write to the system.

Even though I know that many write in the system that many do not.

I've read that others have had problems with boot loop after a simple update of some various applications they have on their tablet, which ran very well for quite some time until an update.

Any ideas I would be grateful, because I don't want to go through this again if I can help it.

Having to drop $20 to return to Temple, TX once a month can fet pretty expensive to say the least.

Thanks again: Ricky

Reluctance of Acer to release a firmware ROM and OS on their website, unlike most manufacturers of what we call Chinas tablets cheap, I'd say the best way to avoid the bootloop's does not buy Acer. Gives me no pleasure to say that I have been buying their laptops for years and have recommended their time without number. Last year I saved a Ployer Momo cheap Tablet by flashing the firmware using a laptop computer, Versus and Sumvision also host the picture to their tablet OS on their Web sites and it is a job relatively simple reflash but your need the image and Acer should provide. Last year I bought the A1-810, if she bootloops it will be my last Acer buy, I can understand the reluctance of Acer to deal with this problem, there is so much competition in the market of the Acer tablets must step up to the mark and support their customers.

    Help!

You can always make use of KB307545, if you start your computer from a CD with a system.  I find that free Linux Livecd such as Knoppix or Ubuntu works well for this purpose (if you use Ubuntu, make sure you have not install; instead of this, use the option "Try Me").  You download an .iso file and use the "Burn Image" of your burning program CD to create a CD bootable on another machine and then use this system to perform the steps of KB307545.  Linux has the advantage of protections on the folder "System Volume Information" don't get in the way and where you need to back up your system (before reinstalling Windows), it doesn't have the path of 256 byte limit that has Windows.

After booting from the Live CD of Linux, start KB307545 of part 2, step 6.  You will use Linux to move, copy and delete files instead of command line commands, but you should be able to find a way to do it.  You won't have to restart between part 2 and part 3, but you need to remove the CD and reboot after completing part 3.  Make sure you complete part 4.

If things are really bad, you can use the Live CD as a system for access to your files and back up an external hard drive, USB or network before you reinstall Windows.

You are wrong to understand what is happening. You are just zoomed away in time, such that you look at individual images. Key frames are placed at the limits of the image.

The only way you can get key images out of the limits of the framework is by changing the frame rate of the composition after creating keyframes.

I suggested in post 4 on this subject and you answered that it is clean.

For a quick solution, rather analyze what happens, try to back up your data and initiate the restore of the system through the key NOVO OKR. It should restore your unit to factory default. Note: after this, you will have to reinstall all the third-party program that you understand your data.

    Hello

    1. what version of Windows are you using?

2 have had any changes made to your computer before this problem?

Perform the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

I recommend placing the computer in a clean boot and then check if the problem persists or not.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 7 in the above article.

    Method 2:

You can also scan your computer the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

  • Vista will not start after update 12/9 - a patch prevents the system from starting.

My computer has downloaded an automatic update on 09/12/09.  It restarted while I was at work, and when I got home he had just ran a startup repair function which could not solve the problem.  I tried to run the rapair again and it failed.  I tried to do a system restore on the eve of the update, but the operating system could not start again, and I was sent automatically the Startup Repair tool.

When I look at the diagnostics, the message says "a patch prevents the system from starting.  I have no idea how to solve this problem.  Can someone please?

    PCrepair101,
You try to use the package manager I link a few post above?  Otherwise, demarrer start from your DVD, type command prompt, and then follow the steps in method 2.  http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/940410
If this does not fix it you can rename the pending.xml file and restart.  To do this, boot from the DVD and enter the command line.  Then type:
CD windows\winsxs - press on enter
    Ren pending.xml pending.old - press on enter

    Then restart the system.

You said "when I try to do a system restore, it is said that there is no previous restore point" and I was wondering if you have tried a "Startup Repair" not a system restore.  Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

I was installing updates of windows and the computer is dead in the middle of it.  When I turned it back on it brought me to a blue screen with error codes: 0x0000007B (0x80399BB0 0 x 0000034 0x00000000 0x00000000).  It prompted me to do a system restore or to get to the system recovery, however it shows that there is no available restore points (even though I know that there are a bunch of them... because I checked this before I tried to make the updates of windows).  I went into the system recovery & the scan of my system with a scan of the additional memory, and there is nothing wrong with my real hardware.  The error recovery of the system that was given to me after the scan of my system is "a fix prevents the system to start.".  I looked at different positions in line with methods to get around this, but none of them does not seem to work.  Vssadmin does not appear on my system to try to use it again.

I also tried cela http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistarepair/thread/8b3e2550-c174-486f-b5dc-98260abc05f9, but as I mentioned before all my restore points have disappeared and when I try not to make method 4 there is no pending.xml file and these registry entries do not exist: HLKM\Offline Components\AdvancedInstallersNeedResolving, HKLM\Offline Components\PendingXmlIdentifier.

I'm almost done try all this and ready to make a fresh Windows... Install but I hate to really do this knowing that everything was working fine before all this & my hardware is fine... If I could just figure out how to get rid of this darn update all this hangs then all would be well.  Anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance,

    Hello

When a computer dies in the middle of an update, it often corrupts many system files leaving no other choice than to reinstall. This is why it is always recommended that laptops/notebooks be connected when you install updates. If Windows was trying to replace a critical system file when the power is off, there are very little that you can do to fix it. If possible, start with a system for the Recovery Console disk and try running "sfc/scannow" to correct or replacement of the damaged system files, but does not satisfy, you are faced with a relocation.
