is hp Pavilion g6-2123 support ddr3-1600/pc3-12800

Very simple question.

The HP Pavilion 2123us g6 will support DDR3-1600/PC3-12800 memory?

I find no concrete evidence at the moment that says one way or another.

Hello

According to the Page 38 of your Interview Guide & Service it supports these RAM modules.

Kind regards

    Hi again,

I just wanted to know if the two kinds of SDRAM DDR3-1600 Rams (one is called memory low voltage) which are available on the market are compatible with my Toshiba Portege R930 i7?

    Thank you!!
    Concerning
    / Anders

The detailed specifications of the compatible modules are:
    + DDR3-1600 PC3-12800, SODIMM 204p, 1.5V +.

As you can see its standard voltage of 1, 5V

  • HP Pavilion HPE h8 - 1285 g-d mobo doesn't support Kingston pc3 12800 (1600 MHz)

    Buy Hp Pavilion HPE h8 - 1285d that comes with hp 4 GB ddr3-1600 in mid-August 2012.

Motherboard is IPMMB-FM (Formosa). Product H1N22AA number

Need another 4 GB of ddr3-1600 to 8GB ddr-1600. Buy Kingston HyperX 8 GB 1600 Mhz DD3 (set of 2).

Try it, motherboard is worth 8 GB 1333 Mhz DDR3.

HP technicians try and fix it, but to no avail. No choice but to buy only HP brand 4 GB ddr-1600.

The motherboard can now read as 8 GB ddr-1600 (Dual channel).

My question is why can't the motherboard stand NOT Kingston HyperX but ONLY from HP?

Then it defeats the purpose in information release of products where under memory upgrade information

    Supports modules DIMM DD3

    -PC3 10600 (1333 Mhz)

    -PC3 12800 (1600 Mhz)

No particular BRAND is mentioned for PC3-12800 (1600 Mhz). If the product information reported

that HP can only take over the PC3 12800 (1600 Mhz), I would certainly NOT bought the PC in the first

    place.

    Can do something about it?

Formosa has chipset Intel Z75 about it, so I'm not sure what this mobo can support Kingston HyperX DIMM. Based on the link below to Kingston memory FAQ, this particluar DIMM only works on the motherboard with a chipset of Intel Sandy bridge Z68.  This means that the Kingston HyperX DIMM you bought is not compatible with motherboard Formosa.

    http://www.Kingston.com/us/memory/HyperX/FAQs?cat=HyperX-Mkt-FAQ

How will I know if my system can support HyperX Plug n Play?

Rep. : Your system supports HyperX Plug and Play as long as you meet the following criteria: your system must use a second generation Core i5 or Core i7 processor, a Sandy Bridge P67 or chipset Z68

Hope this helps and sorry for the trouble there cause on your side.

  • HP 430: can my hp laptop 430 4 GB SDRAM DDR3 1600 mhz memory supported

my laptop is currently sitting at 2 GB that literally kills me. I'm planning on the upgrade of my 8 GB RAM and makes some research online. I discovered noticed that my laptop is on 2 GB DDR3 1333 mhz and my usual hardware said 1333 mhz Rams are quite rare and 1600 mhz are the most recent. If im here to ask if my laptop can support 2 x 4 GB DDR3 1600 mhz SDRAM

    See you soon

    That is right.

I would not exceed 1333 MHz and I would ge standard 1.5V chip not the 1.35 V chip.

The problem is I intend to switch to 32 GB of ram, but I don't know which brand to buy to match the stock ram that would usually come standard with the machine. I buy ram online so he comes the same day as my office. Does anyone know what brand hp uses? crucial? Corsair? PNY?

    Thanks in advance!

    Lews live Productions

HP uses ram from different manufacturers, depends on which it can provide at any time, it isn't the brand but the specs that matter.

I would call Kingston or Crucial on the phone for help on the selection, as they ensure the compatibility.

  • Satellite L550 - 11K - support DDR3 memory?

My 4 GB DDR2 memory. My motherboard supports DDR3?

Can my speed of DDR2 800 MHz, I switch to 1 066 Mhz?

    Hello

I checked the Toshiba page about the details of the Satellite L550 - 11 K and it seems that there is only support for DDR2 800 MHz modules.

Unfortunately, the DDR3 modules won't work.

  • I have a Macbook Pro mid 2012 edition, i7 and 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) of RAM DDR3 (1600 MHz). Can I add any RAM with this config?

I want to upgrade my RAM 16 GB (2x8GB) and also to change the hard drive (750 GB) to a 250 GB SSD. I was going through the forum and people have posted that they have improved their RAM with no problems. I visited the local electronics market and is the knowledge that they have a Kingston 8 GB DDR3 1600 MHz RAM. I just want to know if it is safe to add that RAM for my MBP or not? One of my friends told me that the MBP requires a different sort of RAM so I am confused. In addition, I was intending to buy a single 8 GB and set up my MBP with 12 GB (8 + 4) RAM and then replace the other 4 GB with an 8 GB to make eventually 16GB. Will there be a problem with this approach? Also can I add any SSD fits laptops from my system? I found an SSD 240 GB (uv300) Kingston. Please suggest if I can add that.

You can fit a maximum of 16 GB, if you choose compatible Ram.

  • Can I put my 24 inch Dual Core IMac (early 2009) 4 GB ddr3 1067 Mhz RAM to 16 GB ddr3 1600 Mhz (it says maximum of 8 GB for this model)?

Can I upgrade my 24 inch Dual Core IMac (early 2009) 4 GB ddr3 1067 Mhz RAM 16 GB ddr3 1600 Mhz? I read that it only can be upgraded to a maximum of 8 GB but I'm not sure whether that was when they were sold or if the maximum capacity of the computer can take.

    Thank you for your help,

    Jacques Bizot

You can upgrade the RAM, but 16 GB ddr3 1600 Mhz is NOT designed for your iMac. Please use the RAM specifications correct, iMacs are extremely sensitive to the RAM and require the correct specifications and high quality RAM. Advanced users on these forums tend to recommend Crucial (buy directly from them) or if you are in the USA, RAM from OWC (www.macsales.com).

Do not buy RAM in your store, the local computer or cheap RAM at best, it's probably a waste of time and at worst it will simply not work.

My Satellite L500-19Z does support DDR3 memory?

In my view, it has 4 GB (2x2gb 200 pin 1.8 v DDR2 SoDimm PC2-6400) memory standard (800 MHz I think). I want to move to 8 GB and I saw the following offer: -.

    8 GB (2x4gb) 1333 Mhz PC3-10600 memory Kit.

    My laptop will support it?

    Concerning

    > My Satellite L500-19Z does support DDR3 memory?
    Say the user manual?
    Did you check that?

The support of memory depends on the chipset.
If the chipset does not support DDR3 so you cannot use it.
The chipset is Mobile Intel GM45 Express Chipset and AFAIK that support DDR2 800 MHz 8 GB max memory chipset.

I recently bought a Z620 and a Z800 (second two had, of course).

The Z620 has 48 (6 x 8) GB RAM unbuffered PC3-12800E (DDR3-1600). I'm busy to remove the 16 GB of the Z620 and install them on the Z800, which has only 2 x 2 GB RAM.

I have a 700-056 want 64-bit running windows 8.1. After removing the original ram and substituting 16 GB PNY XLR8 DDR3 1600 2 x 8 GB PC3 - 12800 Non - ECC 240 p, machine does not start. Two attempts resulted in empty screens. When finally got error message, it was something about "invalid signature" or such nonsense no layman could never understand. This memory is supposed to be compatible with this machine. What new memory is deleted and reinstalled old memory, the machine functions normally. That is what it is?

    Hello

First try and boot from the new RAM module 1 stick and see if it boots, if not then try the same procedure with the key, you don't try and see if it boots. Could be a faulty stick of RAM and if so, you will need to send it to the supplier.

  • Profile of Alienware Area - 51 ALX Intel XMP A10 does not work with DDR3 1600 MHz

I bought three Kingston 8 GB RAM DDR3 1600 MHz 240 pin DIMM that totals up to 24 GB of RAM and install in my desktop computer. When I turned on and the message appeared saying:

Maternal health and infant is running with DDR3 - 1333 MHz

WARNING! Previous overclocking failed, and system restore its default value. Press F1 to continue, F2 to enter Setup Menu

When I access the BIOS setting (version A10), I disabled XMP and then it went through fine after the reboot. However, I have to have XMP allow at any time? How can configure profile 1333 MHz to 1600 MHz XMP?

What bothers me is that I had three former PIN of Kingston 4 GB RAM DDR3 1600 MHz 240 DIMM which total up to 12 GB of RAM and the XMP worked very well with them before they were 1600 MHz.

The type of computer I have is:

    Alienware Area-51 ALX

    Intel Core i7 980 Extreme 6 c with 12 MB of Cache

    Windows 7 Ultimate

Please, help me to solve this problem. Thank you.

    http://en.community.Dell.com/Owners-Club/Alienware/f/3746/p/19471694/20209913.aspx#20209913

And I certainly don't have the answer, but I'll remember these points:

    1. I think that you can set manually nothing XMP adjustable (but with more control).

2 machines often memory need to be slowed down when you are near maximum capacity look maintenance manuals.

3 area-51 has never been tested or even allow the 8 GB DIMMs. You are in the new territories.

    4. If you really need 24 GB (and it works at 1333) then the 267 speed drop is insignificant.
