  This normally happens when you add any code iframe in Muse design.

  If you are using any 3rd party code that creates an iframe then you will have to style code iframe.

• Using the Master Page

  I am new to Firworks, but hope to get it sorted.

  I created a model of website multi layers in photoshop cs4. By to turn off the layers and I can show the State of the nav system and the resultant page page layouts. I want to use Fireworks to turn this into a model of interactive website with flip, and then click customer through and etc.

  I imported this file .psd FW CS4. Then I put only the ordinary layers like logo, header background, basic nav elements, etc. to be turned on, hide other layers so that designate as a Master Page. So far so good.

  I then create a new page called Home and it is automatically linked to the Master Page (minor confusion: Although the link to the left of the page icon is not active?)

  Now, I want to turn on a few layers to display the homepage of nav in its selected state and display content specific to the Home Page. I can't seem to find a way to get these layers (that I already created) copied from the master page in the new Home Page, so I can show them.

  Maybe I should make use of layer for this State?

  I hope this makes sense. I read all of the help and etc I could find, but it seems to be stuck here.

  You'e welcome. I'm glad that you guessed it sorted. However, next time, put right in FW. Nothing in this prototype

  that FW might not have done as well and in terms of vectors, maybe better. :-)

• How to edit a page that uses the layout of the master page?

  Hi I made a layout in the master page and its now on all pages, but I want on some pages of the stuff away but I can't edit this more or its not let me remove/resize or else its not let me I have just to see the layers I can turn their market but I there is no arrow I can click Open all that is inside.

  This is how works the master page. You cannot change the things that you put there on normal pages.
  On master pages, you should leave that parts of your layout which sholud look the same on each page. Other parts of the layout must be placed directly on the pages.

• Bringing images of the master page to the front

  Well, I hope I can explain it clearly enough.

  I created something framed for mywebsite with a right-hand vertical menu.  Everything has been created with quite complex graphics and what I would like is for some content to put behind the images create my layout on the master page.  But as I understand it, whatever it is created on the master page is locked and moved into the background.  To compensate for this I had to cut the PNG files, resize them and before them ontop of the content.  It's awkward, and the images don't align exactly leaving jagged edges.  I feel that I do a more difficult life for me, so is it not bring all the images and links towards the front of the page master?

  Hello

  You can use the layers feature in Muse to bring the elements of the master page to the front. If you want to wear all the content of the master page to the front, the easiest way is to put all the master page content in a layer and put layer tha at the front.

• Why not my text on the master page appearing is not on a page of body?

  I'm working on 11 FM. I have a text box "this page intentionally left blank." on a mooring on a master page called blank Page. When I assign this master page to a page of body (using the master page), the headers and footer appear, but isn't my text "this page left blank.". How can I fix it?

  Is "this page intentionally left blank." as part of the main text (flow one) on the Master Page 'white '?

  If so, remove it and place it in a new block of background text on this page.

  Flow text on MPs does not appear on the pages of body.

  Right click on this page that you want to isolate > menu goto option > exclude from the menu.

• Button state created the Master page properties not applying does not at all pages

  When I create a button and add a hyperlink to this button on my main page, the hyperlink properties do not apply to all other pages.  So when I test my Web site and click on the 'Services' button, it will take me to the page "Services".  However, since the 'Services' page the other buttons do not work.  Technically, they must work because EVERYTHING is created on the main page should apply to all pages, including linking them.  Is there a bug in the function?

  This problem is usually caused when objects are located above the Navigation bar, so that you are unable to click on it.

  To resolve the issue:

  (1) open the master page with Muse

  (2) create a new layer using the layers panel

  (3) move the navigation bar at this new layer: select the navigation bar, click with the right button on it > go to layer

  4) to ensure that this new layer is on top

  I think that your posToInsertAt for IPageCmdData::Set is incorrect.

  If the doc does not have facing Pages, posToInsertAt = 1;

  If doc is facing Pages and page insertion is the left-hand Page, posToInsertAt = 2;

  If doc is facing Pages and insert page is the right Page, posToInsertAt = 1;

  posToInsertAt = spread-> GetNumPages();

  newDocCmd and newDocCmdData are not used, you can delete these.

• Table of contents using a style/section of the master page

  I'm at the top of my head I think... and probably incorrectly to the top of my document.  I hope I can quickly explain where I am:

  Question 1

  I'd like a Table of contents to use 10 section headers that appear throughout my document.  Here's how I set up:

  • In the master page, a place for the header of section and it gives a paragraph style.
  • Then, throughout the document, I used the "numbering and section options" start each new section and give this article is the unique name.

  When I went to generate the Table of contents, I've specified using this particular paragraph style that I used for the section headers, but nothing appears (except for the title, I asked for the General table of contents).  It's as if this isn't to find the sections - or this style (which applies only to the master page).

  Where am I wrong?

  I wish that my Table of contents, not numbered.  How do I do that?

  I don't know that you understood my post. I was able to do exactly what you did - create a master page with a frame and the section marker character (indicating "section" on the master page) and then add the actual text of the marker in the numbering and section options. The text appears on the page of live document.

  When I tried to do a table of contents, text was not resumed UNTIL I selected and carried this master frame on the page of the document (Ctrl + Shift + click on Windows or Cmd + Shift + click on Mac on the image that you want to replace). After substitution, the text appeared as scheduled in the table of contents.

  You're right about the number of page for this page. You can use another master without a page number, or you can cancel and delete the master page number frame. I assume that you will need to use a different master for the first page and pages in any section to avoid having the marker appear on all pages, or you can replace only the first page so that you don't repeat entries in the table of contents for each page of each section.  If you use the marker as a running header Section, you can learn more about Variables header running in the help files in place. In many ways, the use of a variable can be simpler and more direct.

• Am unable to use the master password, when I try to add the 'OK' button will not highlight or save it.

  I recently uninstalled then reinstalled Firefox but now can't use the master password. The 'OK' button will not activate, won't save password.

  It is possible that there is a problem with key3db and signons.sqlite files that store the encrypted names and passwords in Firefox.
  
  In the Firefox profile folder, rename the files key3db and signons.sqlite.
  
  You can add .old files (key3.db.old and signons.sqlite.old) names or move them to another folder to make it possible to cancel the action.
  
  You must define a new master password after renaming or removing the signons3.txt and all the currently saved passwords are lost.
  
  If that worked, then you can delete the renamed files that are no longer needed.

  When first asked me if I wanted to use the master password to a site (specifically www.facebook.com) I clicked on "never" do not forget the password for this site. How can I use the master password to this site (or any site) now?

  1. Click on the Firefox button, go to Options | Options | Security.
  2. Click the 'Exceptions' button and remove Facebook from the list.

  The next time you go to Facebook and type your password, you should get the option to add to the list of passwords.

  Open the Tools menu and turn on "Compatibility view" to do.  Note that this works only in the desktop version of Microsoft Internet Explorer.

  No worries, you can try going to the virtual machine and looking for an online .vmx file such as - scsi0.virtualDev = "free".

  I shot on a vmware workstation VM, don't know if it's exactly the same vmware server, but is worth a visit.
