Purchase CS6 is not very different from a subscription that is given as the name of screen Test said above, it's basically 7 years subscription paid upfront and there is no guarantee that it will run on whatever legacy operating systems are still there then...

I don't know if this question belongs here, but I'm currently running a trial of Illustrator CS6 and I think to buy once my 30 days expires.  However, I'm looking at the Adobe store and it seems that I can't buy Illustrator with student price (the only programs listed with the delivery of education are Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash and packages of CS).  I know that it is still possible to buy Illustrator CS6 since I find at regular price ($599), but I'm just curious to know if this means Adobe gradually some editions of student/teacher CS6 or if my account is just to be weird and it is still possible to buy Illustrator with the discount.  Thank you! (Also I totally get the encouragement to subscribe to CC instead, especially with the rate of first year at low prices for students, but it is mostly for purposes of self-teaching/hobby - not so much for professional training.  Once again, thank you!)

  I'm afraid that the educational version of the unique applications option was limited to Photoshop and a few others.

  The best option, in my opinion, is the standard, which is cheaper than the single no educational version of Illy (Design and Web Premium has the same price as Illy).

  I have a creative cloud account and have downloaded previous pieces of software, including Indesign CS6. I had problems to launch with Indesign (on OS Lion Mountian) has thus removed the package via app zapper. Now in the creative files and download applications section, I am unable to download apps. Does anyone else have this problem? Unfortunately, in the Adobe Application Manager, it see as installed Indesign.

  The other problem is that I just noticed my Adobe Application Manager seems more to be installed. It seems that Adobe Download Assistant crushed it? Perhaps?

  Really, we apologize for all the inconvinience that you have faced.

  There seems to be remaining data remains in different places on your system that does not allow applications to reinstall on the pc.

  I would say please follow the cleaning steps manual & run the cleanup tool of CS Adobe given in the below knowledge base document:

A few months ago, I bought a subscription monthly to InDesign CC and used for a few months before disabling it. Then, I continued to use my InDesign CS6 without any problem. Today my InDesign CS6 froze on me after that I saved a PDF of my file, so I force quit the program. Now, whenever I try to restart InDesign CS6, Adobe Application Manager appears and tells me that I need to renew my subscription to Creative cloud be able to use it! Very frustrating. All my other programs CS6 open for myself, it's just the InDesign that I have problems with. I use a Mac. How can I stop this happens so that I can return to reuse as usual my InDesign CS6?   I see that your Adobe Id is associated with an expired / suspended Design CC subscription.

  If you have CC desktop app installed please uninstall and uninstall Indesign CC as well. and then try to use Indesign cs6. It may ask you to click on license this software and ask for serial key that you can use to activate it.

  2. sign in with your Adobe ID

  3 copy and paste the following links on the both address bar and hit enter:

  There is no space in the ".exe" above, I tried to remove it but while displaying the message space comes by default. So all by pasting the link, if there is space between ex and e remove it manually.
