Is it possible to change the size of a menu background?

I would use my own photo as a background for menu and reduce its size less than the size of the menu.

The photo selection sticks on a backup and re - open but the size of the object returns to the full menu size when the project is reloaded.

If I have replaced a background in a Menu defined and only wanted it occupies a surface more small, what about 720 x 480 for DV NTSC Menu, I'd go to Photoshop, put my black background color, make new Image and choose the NTSC 720 x 480 (Standard or widescreen, as requires it) w / Guides. Then I would open my Image you want, drag it to this new Image and evolution with Free transform (Ctrl + T), to fill the area I want, flatten and Save_As PSD. This would be the Image I want to use for the whole Menu.

Now, if you want to see some of the original Background, around your smaller Image, there are two methods to achieve this. As the structure of the Menu PRE sets are PSD in Photoshop layers, and the structure is very strict, I don't know if there will be problems with either of these ways.

  1. Do the same as above, but select Transparent to the background. Then Save_As PSD to use transparency in menus pre Editor. If this does not work, go to #2.
  2. Do the same as above, choose transparency for the background. Open one of the PrE Menu Set Menu PSD and drag the background to your new Image. Drag your Image on that and scale, as required. Save_As PSD and that drag the Menu set in the menu editor.

To work with sets of Menu, which do not allow to add a background Image, we could open the MM (main Menu) and the SS (Selection of Scene) PSD in PS. Then we'd basically the operation drag on top, add their Image on background. I would then Save_As PSD, without Flattenng (very Important) and increment the first part of the name in some way. Do not change the last part of the Menu of MM range, or SS file names (very important). Create a new folder in the hierarchy of the folders under Menu DVD library and name it something like "my menu". Before you close on PS, flatten each the MM and SS, go to Image > Image size, choose 160 x 128 and create PNG Image size of the other PNG in the files of the Menu sets. Also note the naming convention of the files required for the PNG. Increment the start of the file name, to match what you did above. Place these PNG (they are "thumbnails" in the Menu Set Viewer) in this new folder that you created. When you start the pre and go to create Menus, your new folder should appear in the drop down menu, where you placed it.

Note: Save_As NEVER exactly the same name, as names of the games of your DVD Menu templates or you will overwrite these sets of Menu. The only way to get back them is to reinstall the functional content material.

If you get lost, feel free to watch the conventions of naming in pre, as a guide. Same for the order of the layers. The structure is VERY important. Although I do it a lot, I still need to use your Menu library as a reference guide. There is little flexibility in the naming of files and almost none in the order of the layers. The same goes for the folder/sub-folder structure.

Good luck

Hunt

PS - The same instructions should work properly in PSElements, but as I do not know, or have this program, I can't be 100% certain. With the operations described above, we shouldn't face a limitation of the EP - its inability to create layer sets (buttons). However, the PSE can change layer sets - just not, create them.

How can I change the size of text and background color? When I select the text box and change the height, nothing happens. If I drag the box is smaller, it just jumps back to where she was. If I try to change the color, (which is set to 'default' gray), no color, it still shows as white on preview. Because I can not change the size of text box, I need to at least make the clear background because it's something that overlap.

Answered my own question kind of... I had to go into the 'code' and change the settings manually. Why even have the options in 'view designer' to change the size of text box or color if it doesn't?

  • Is it possible to change the size of the icons?

I have high resolution and you want to increase the size of the icons. All I can do is to set the size of icons on the desktop. But I need to set the size of the icons on the Panel, the icons of the folders and files (while I look at the list of detailed files, no icons).

I already found out how to set the size of the icons of the system or the panels. It is also in advanced display option.

  • Is it possible to change the size of a WMA file?

In my music library, I have a WMA file, that contains a song, which I want to keep, followed by a number of conversation minutes, which I don't want to keep.  Is it possible that I can somehow shared this WMA file into two pieces so I can remove the talking part?  The music player I have is Windows Media Player.

    Hi Mike,.

You need an editor, not a player, do what you want to do with a WMA file.  The following free editor works with Vista and manages the WMA files and can do for you: http://www.freeaudiovideosoft.com/freeaudioeditor/index.html#systemrequirements.  WMP will play WMA files.

If this is not the case, go to Bing or Google and search for "WMA freeware édition" and then search for the results of other options.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

    Hello

Is it possible to change the size of the execution button, because I develop an application for touch screen, and it is a little difficult to press.

    Thank you

You are referring to the execution arrow in the toolbar?
The user must not press this button.  You should consider making an application that runs when open (probably exe) and check the status using your own interface, this way you can enforce anysize arraw you want.

The following free PowerToy for Windows XP
can resize batches of photos very quickly:

Go to the following link and download and
    install: ImageResizer.exe

    (Filename: ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe)
    (does not work on Vista).

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Windows XP downloads - PowerToys
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/XP-downloads#2TC=featured
(start with left click of the PowerToys column)

When it is installed, you can open any file that
contains images and you will have an option for
Resize. Just right click the selected image files
and choose resize images in the menu. You
can select a picture or an entire group.

The program will place the resized in copies
    the folder with your originals.
(Tip: * never * overwrite your originals)

To ensure that images in both portrait and
landscape orientation are resized to the
    same dimensions... go to... Advanced...
and enter the largest number in these two areas.
IOW... for 600 x 800... Enter 800 in these two areas.

    IrfanView...

It gets a bit more complicated than the PowerToy
But yes, IrfanView can resize a batch of images.

In Irfanview... go... File / Batch Conversion...

Navigate to the appropriate folder and then select the
    you want to resize images...

Click on the button 'Add '.

If you want to resize all the images in the folder...
Just click the button "add all".

    Now... "Batch converting" checked...
Check... Using the Advanced Options and
    Click on the "Advanced..." button

    Check the field "resize".

Enter the new size. If... for example... you
want to 640 by 480... Enter as many
in these two areas and be sure that "Preserve."
Aspect Ratio' is checked. This way the
    many apply to the shorter
dimension and your image format will be
    preserved.

When increasing the pixel dimensions, audit
the box... "Resample" can lead to
    in a better image quality.

    Click on... Ok...

    Choose a "Output Format".

Choose a folder to save the new files in...

Click on the button 'start '.

  • How can I change the size of the points in a polar graph?

    Hello

I used this link (http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/9CEC8B2C1E67039586256DEF006F9A0E) to plot points (instead of lines) with polar track of Labview demo (see file attachment). Could someone tell me if it is possible to change the size of the dots on the ground (I wish they were bigger).

    Thank you very much

    Kind regards

    Forum_75

The code downloaded Barros is the example provided with LabVIEW with the Subvi "Plot polar data" replaced by another which trace points instead of lines. As the article points out the example provided with LabVIEW shows how you can replace the Subvi used in the example to draw the points instead of lines. The entrance to the 'pen' to the Point 'draw' VI indicates the thickness of the points. You can wear this "Feather" entry to a Panel control before or hard wire it to a value.

The dialogues of ACR are different in the CS and the elements.

The CS dialog box has a menu "export", while elements has a 'Save' one.

The dialog box export CS allows you to 'export' image (jpeg, tiff, psd) file and converted the "DNG" raw files

CS export feature has the ability to resize image files or to create files reduced size raw "DNG with loss."

In the elements, the first changes are sent to the editor, where you can resize, export, print image files ("Open" button)

The 'save' button element allows you to create the "DNG with loss" with the reduced size of the pixels.

The workflow is different, but the result is the same in both cases.

  • Possible to increase the size of police DW CC interface?

    Thank you.

The fonts used for things like the names of toolbar and tabs in the window are controlled by your operating system and would need to be changed it.

Used in Code view font size can be changed in the DW preferences by going in Edition > Preferences > fonts

If you suffer from not being DW is not high resolution monitor updated with super tiny to unreadable text in the dialogues of the interface and tools (not only "old small eyes" text), Adobe knows about the problem and working on a fix, but did not leave any hint as to when it will be available.
