  I have a 10 columns in the rear end table which is of type varchar or number. Assume that the size of these areas, such as varchar2 (250) and number (50) for all these 10 columns.
  
  My requirement in this sense I have ned to change the size of these fields in the form of front end in APEX. Suppose if I want to change the size of the five fields, out of 10 fields.
  
  It is the original size of these five fields, in the rear end table
  

  A--->varchar2(250)
  B--->varchar2(250)
  C--->varchar2(250)
  D--->varchar2(250)
  E--->varchar2(250)

  I want to change the size of these fields as below on the front of the application in the form of the APEX
  

  A->varchar2(20)
  B->varchar2(50)
  C->varchar2(25)
  D->varchar2(10)
  E->varchar2(60)

  Changing size of item that I've made, must be temporary for the thin APEX form before and it should not affect the size of the field that is in the database of origin.
  
  Suppose example
  
  If the size of the column in the original data table is 200 way, so in the form of APEX Front end I would like to change the size of the column to 50. But this change in the front-end server should not affect the size of the column in the database table 200.
  
  This 50 column size must be temporarily for the front-end server only the APEX form.

  It seems that you don't have a value for the P4_MY_ITEM_LENGTH element and JavaScript the value empty to another point size and maxlength.

  Calculate the value for P4_MY_ITEM_LENGTH before the header.

  Hello, after I accidentally installed snapdo, we can not type in the address bar or the search bar. I managed to remove snapdo now of the laptop. Export my bookmarks, reset firefox, nothing has changed - still does not. Uninstalled firefox, reinstalled, still does not.

  In the end, we tried all those - they didn't work, but this thread and recommended prog worked.

  Then we uninstalled Firefox, deleted all associated files - in the AppData folder and then reinstalled.

  So it has now been resolved.

  Tried to change host because by Firefox HELP page (several times), but cannot get rid of the Findwide page at startup. I tried to install and run the module by another post but could not get the add-on to run. I'm on Windows 8 for a Dell laptop. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

  I guess you mean the SearchReset extension.
