  I often work on spec sheets to work in InDesign and when I finished, I have preset PDF export settings for Print and Web. Printing has all the markings of bleed and printer, and one, web well... you get the idea.

  For now, I need to run export separately; so I do my export to a PDF print... and then I make my export to obtain a PDF optimized for Web.

  These are separate tasks, but surely there must be a script or another way to get InDesign just export the two PDF files at the same time, respecting the presets they are posted.

• Possibility to change the related images without HAVE?

  I am relatively new to javascript coding some HAVE, but I can't seem to solve my latest problem. My company has 2 offices, each with their own local network server, but the two offices can connect to the server on the other. California to connect to New York and vice versa. We transfer a large number of files HAVE between two servers so that different people in different offices can work on them.

  The problem of related images. If someone in New York tries to open a file from the Office of California, Illustrator is basically paralyzed if the image is linked to the CA server. I created a script that copies the files (using a save under) to NY and recreate a link to them from this side, but bc still you open a file and save over a slow network connection so it's not really a great solution. Large files can take up to 3 minutes to save the connection.

  We cannot apply the simple solution to just keep the images in the same folder with the file HAVE, because we all have access to both servers it never breaks the link, and HAVE grinds just a setback.

  I found this post (http://stackoverflow.com/questions/524020/how-do-you-find-the-paths-of-linked-images-in-ad obe-Illustrator-9) on the use of perl to read the header of the file HAVE and report the names of link, but I don't know anything about perl to find out if you could get it in there and change the path of the link. I also tried to open it in a text editor, change the path of the file, but when I tried to open it upwards in artificial intelligence it says that it has been altered, so that doesn't seem to work.

  Ideas for an effective way to change the absolute path of a file in artificial intelligence connected without having opened and tent indeed to place the files on a slow connection? We basically just need to replace OAKServ by NYCServ in the name of the link, everything that concerns the Organization of the files is the same.

  I see what you need now, I misunderstood... Unfortunately there is no way around do not open the file to make changes... I think that, perhaps someone of another chimes in.

  I came across a 750 MHz on eBay G3 processor, mean't to improving a Mac PowerPC with a slower 233 MHz or G3 266 MHz processor. It is a good idea, I like my G3 minitour, but the 266 MHz really choking when you play games like the Sims high performance. I was wondering if this upgrade is a healthy option for the computer? I'm really not a lot of ins and outs of a motherboard, but if this upgrade is not a total fantasy and pretty easy to accomplish without slaughter my computer I would love to give it a go!
