  It is possible to convert all the TIFF files to PDF in a go with Actions in Acrobat Pro ms.

  Click on select files to convert to PDF

  Click on choose the files on my computer

  Of the open a file dialog box, navigate to the folder where you have all the TIFF files and use CTRL + A to select all files.

• In the new update, I can't believe that the default Source range in the export settings went from the output sequence.

  Very very disappointed for someone who does a lot of export high speed it has great effect. Does perform a work around?

  If you have activated the workspace, it will be by default Source range: workspace in the export settings. Go timeline menu burger/wing tab, and clear the work area. Who will come back you to the Source range: in and out sequence in the export of parameters.

  I've never seen such a method. I think you will find that you must simply recreate your dilemma inside Captivate project and forget all means of import.

  The only thing that comes to mind would be to import the project dilemma in PowerPoint. (Assuming that such a thing exists) then import the PPT in Captivate. But you wouldn't be able to make everything connect.

• Preview area in the export settings window is empty

  Hi all!

  I have a fairly straightforward problem. When I go to the export settings window, the area on the left side who normally present in preview the video (and allow me to see things from cropping and these) white and gray background. If I scrub through the video, I sometimes see a glimpse of a little message in the Center by saying "made...". "or something like that, and then once when I opened the window, I see a brief flash of a distorted picture it somehow as a flash of an old VHS tape or something, with odd lines and and odd or grayscale color.

  It does not matter what type of file I loaded up. So far, he has had the same problem on a regular ProRes, JPEG .mov, and even an old .mov of images fixed .jpg file.

  I've updated SOUL to the latest version (5.5.1.12 64-bit) and I'm running OS X 10.7.3...

  Any idea? I really liked this window!

  Is it possible to add text at the beginning of a text file?  In other words, insert text at the beginning of a text file and just 'pushing' the rest of the content of the file to a top offset rather than overwrite the existing data?

  No, this isn't...

  You can make the trivial way: lire read in the ancient text, precede the header, write the full text again...

  Or the safe way:

  -write the header to the new file

  -old file (in blocks) to read and write in Add mode to the new file

  -remove the old file

  -Rename the file to have the name of the original file

  You need an editor, not a player, do what you want to do with a WMA file.  The following free editor works with Vista and manages the WMA files and can do for you: http://www.freeaudiovideosoft.com/freeaudioeditor/index.html#systemrequirements.  WMP will play WMA files.

  If this is not the case, go to Bing or Google and search for "WMA freeware édition" and then search for the results of other options.

  I downloaded a song from Vodafone Live! I thought going to my phone mobile phone as a ringtone, but finished in my music player.  I managed to get it on my phone, but its way too long.  As I said I need only as a ringtone.  When my phone rings I get the beginning of the song, but miss the best bits! So, which defeated the purpose of buying the thing.

  Is it possible to change the mp3 file, I received on my laptop to make it shorter.

• Automate the prefix in layers of files...

  Hi all

  I hope someone can help me with some automation. I have no idea about the scripts, I know just saying smart things can be made, I hope someone could point me in the right direction!

  I'm the superposition of the t-shirt on images of blank t-shirts designs.

  Each different color T-shirt (15 colors) is on an individual layer, so I have 15 layers.

  To create 15 images of a particular t-shirt design (an image for each color shirt), so I need to:

  (1) import a drawing on the top layer

  2) update all 15 compositions of layers

  3) click on the button "title of layers in files.

  (4) put a unique identifier in the file name prefix field

  (5) go to 1)

  So I guess my question is the following:

  Can I automate this? For example can I have the derived prefix the name of the layer? So I had to name just the top layer (with design on), and PS removed the layer name in the file name prefix field?

  And then I update all layers to automatically (when I put the next design on) rather than each of them choose and manually update?

  Any help appreciated for a novice script!

  If you put the top layer with a layer of smart design and then manually update the layer comps once and then save the file as a template, you can then use the Object layer-Smart menu element - replace Cotents... to change the design in a way that would not require more updated of the layer comps. Alteration of the content of a dynamic object affects not the layer would have status model as the addition of a new layer.

  In the layers to Files.jsx if you find the line

  var fileNameBody = exportInfo.fileNamePrefix;

  and replace with

  var fileNameBody = name of the upper layer app.activeDocument.layers[0].name;//

  The script will be no longer use the prefix of the dialog box and use the top layer as a prefix name instead.

  To automate the whole process would require the creation of a custom script. Layers to files script was not written to be called from another script.

  I quit my job and we've been download all my files on Google Drive InDesign to prepare, so that my boss/employees can use and access my work. My boss has found that it cannot download the files without the pictures in documents turns out to be super low resolution. It is not just the screen on his computer (although they don't LOOK really terrible). They also print in very low resolution. I can print and view the SAME files in high resolution, when I work on my computer, and when I export documents in PDF, JPEG, PNG, etc and THEN give him the files, they are at the appropriate resolution. Who did all well and dandy, but... Given that I'm the only designer on staff, and I'm going, I'll be able to deliver my documents to my boss/employees. Help? Thank you!

  Where are the pictures of the original publication stored? When you compress all these images must be collected in a folder where your save file compressed. What is this copied or moved folder structure of (new machine, a different location on a local disk, dropbox, etc.), ID will need to be re-edited them once again, when the publication is open.

  But the structure of the folder must be copied on computer the boss', not only the file ID. If you all are not configured to use the exact same dropbox folder system and work from it.

• Graphics WMF look Terrible after the re-opening of InDesign file

  I hope someone can provide the answer to this one, or at least a decent work around.

  Very detailed drawings are provided for me (the author of technology) in the form of graphics of Windows Meta file (*.wmf).

  I have to take these designs and import them into my files InDesign V.6 (CS4) using the command set under file.

  The graphics look good immediately after I import them. If I print the file in PDF (Adobe 9.0) before closing the file, they look in PDF as well.

  The problem: if I close the file and then reopen it, the schematic graphics look absolutely terrible. as they have 'removed' or something. The number of labels is completely indistinguishable and rasterized. Print to PDF does not improve the aspect (but does not seem to make it worse, if that's even possible).

  So, the problem lies between the time wherever I finish (after registration) of the file and the time I re - open. ID is to reduce the graphic quality of these WMF drawings on save/close the file and I can't find the solution.

  Technical details:

  System: PC, Windows XP Professional, Version 2002, Service Pack 2

  Adobe CS4: InDesign Version 6.04

  You can embed PDF files in ID files without damaging the file at all. Go ahead and try and then look at the PDF file.

  There is no way to tell which content was a part of the PDF and who was content ID native.

  Check your setting to view under view > display performance.

• InDesign CC 2015 hangs when one) place another InDesign file or b) opening a document that already contains the link to another InDesign file.

  Recently upgraded to CC 2015 CS6, have the latest versions of OS X and CC.

  When opening documents CS6 with links to other documents, .indd, after a short time (while updating the links I think) InDesign crashes.

  Have you tried

  (a) open related files and save it again as a document CC

  (b) copying items in a new document

  but when I try to place the document in another document new and empty, crash.

  After a bit of experimentation, I discovered that the problem was a logo in eps format that appeared in the documents. Re-recorded as .ai, fixed to a problem.
