Is it possible to distort the text?

Hello

Is is possible to distort the text, if inside a smart box to the shape or the text? I wanted the curve a bit, but I can't find a way to do it.

Thank you

Lucy

Hello

Unfortunately Captivate has ever offered this ability as I know.

Your best bet is likely to do in another application, then save it to a picture and insert the resulting image in Captivate.

See you soon... Rick

  • Is it possible to change the text in a smart object in illustrator?

Is it possible to change the text in a smart object in illustrator? Thank you much for the help!

And can anyone recommend educational resources for someone (me) who is a user HAVE ten years who need to work in PS for web models? Anything other than a basic PS tutorial. Something this specific task-oriented. I'm not a beginner PS - but especially used for the correction of photo so far.

Truly - thank you! BTW - I'm in the Suite of 6 CS and CC will not be at my disposal.

If you double-click on the smart object icon in the palette layers in Photoshop, it will open the original illustrator file in illustrator to be able to change it.

  • How to distort the text to fit inside my banner?

Hey there! I did a lot of logos in Photoshop and now I want to turn them into Illustrator vectors for sale. I managed to live trace PNG, but now I question who depending on who buys the logo that I have to change the text inside the banner. In the image below, I would replace the contraption of fonts on the measure with just a normal font (speaker), but I would get the police in the same wavey form it is below.

How can I distort the text inside the shape of white banner?

Hey guys, sorry! I fixed it by removing the initial wavey banner, then:

    > Creating a rectangle

    > Creating a text box, by typing 'DEALER '.

    > The rectangle and the text box

    > Placing the object on the form of Fox where the white banner used to be

    > Going to Edit > Warp > flag

    > Changing the curvature of the flag until it matched the form of banner that used to be there

  • Path - distort the text withTLF

Hi, I'm going to work on the project where I need to use and control path distort the text. I therefore wonder if this is a simple way how to with the help of TLF. Thanks for all the tips

I'm sorry, this is not supported by TLF. The only way I know to do this is either using Flash Authoring with TextField, or by creating the path into another application such as Illustrator or InDesign that can convert the text to a path and bringing to the Flash as a path. Once that do you it is not more text, it is a graphic form.

  • Is it possible to expand the text and icons in Windows Explorer without changing its framework or my screen resolution?

I started meeting with eyestrain from prolonged use of the computer.  Of course, I must simply reduce screen time, but may not reduce significantly again. During this time, I set it on a few minor visual adjustments that might be more favorable to the eye to me.  A change would be to increase the size of the text and folder icons in my field of Windows Explorer. I tried to achieve this expansion by increasing my overall screen resolution, but that change has become cumbersome and actually greater stress perspective.  Is it possible that I can change the size of text and icon from the Windows Explorer, without giving up its current location (details) and without affecting the size of anything else (for example, my office)?

I know that my investigation is not in the urgent category, but I would be grateful for all the advice. (Well, almost everything...?)

    Thank you now also.

No do not trust them - it's a widespread scam underway.  They want to ask you to install support software (usually decent software, like Team Viewer, that legitimate companies use to provide assistance), but then they use it to implant viruses. Or, more often, they open an arbitrary log file, claim this means that you have a virus, and they will help you conveniently 'fix' for a fair cost.

No one will ever 'cold call' offer to help you with your PC.

  • How to resize a text box without distorting the text?

I'm trying to resize an area text, but whenever the text gets distorted. What I am doing wrong?

To resize the box, double-click its icon of layer.

The difference between a text box (aka paragraph Type) and a layer of Type normal, is that for the shape, select the text tool and click where you want the insertion point.  For the latter, you click and drag to make the type box.

  • Is it possible to change the text using fonts Std of ITC Officina Sans Acrobat Pro?

Is it possible to modify the test using std Officina Sans ITC fonts in Acrobat? I just downloaded acrobat and when I tried to change a few tests in the PDF file, a message popped up saying that the Std of ITC Officina without is not available or cannot be used in editing. Any ideas, downloads or similar fonts that I can use to solve this problem.

Really need this font if not the whole PDF will look bad.

Mise put on fast day, turns out I can't use Armada is a police. It seems that Acrobat Pro 11 has not all fonts I need.

Discover the answer to Dov Isaacs in this forum announcement. Re: fully embedding the fonts in PDF format

His comment:... Acrobat never uses the font incorporated to text editing - you must have the fonts installed on the system to make these changes. (emphasis added)

  • InDesign: how tilt blocks of text without distorting the text?

I want to put in place several large blocks of copy to these requirements:

-the basic lines of the text are at an angle on the page

-the left and right edges of the text block are shot-on horizontal (aligned with the guides in the screenshot below)

-the block of text can be enlarged or reduced without changing the angle of the left and right edges

-forms of the letters themselves are not distorted

This screenshot shows what I'm after.

This screenshot shows the real bounding box for the text block.

This screenshot shows how the angle of the text box changes when I change its size.

I think Illustrator is a kind of function that allows you to "zero" (reset the transformations of a grid of 90 degrees) an object after it is transformed. Not finding anything like that in InDesign. And I find no way to set a custom angle constraint that would allow me to use the direct Selection (white arrow) tool to change the height or width with confidence.

I'd appreciate some tips! Thank you for your attention.

I do so with the example of shooting. Tilt works the same way.

    1. draw your rectangle, I applied a text frame reference grid (textframe options)

    2. with the Selection tool or the transform tool turn the frame in one direction, you can also do this with the entrance of the value in the transform Panel, what I would recommend.

    3. now, select the direct Selection (white arrow) tool and hold the ALT key and click on the frame. Now, only the frame is selected. Turn the other way, or insert the value in the transform Panel.

I also have another method to offer:

    1. Draw the main frame with the text tool.
    2. Draw a small box above, it must be much smaller than the main frame.
    3. Turn the small frame in the direction that where you want to go the text.
    4. Select the two images.
    5. Go to the Pathfinder > Add.

Now, you can add text or select a text based frame reference grid. He will do the same as above. May be simpler.

  • Is it possible to save the text layer only to add several PDF?

I create one editable sheet of labels.

Once, I create all the text boxes and placed correctly, I wish I could add this text layer for the other sheets of labels with the same layout... without having to start from scratch.  Is this possible?

Hope that someone knows the secret

You can use the function of replacement pages.

  • How to distort the text?

All I want to do is have a word start as a normal Word and then distort U shaped, as the word is smiling. I've been googling and tutorialing and all I came up with is broke up the word and then using the Warp tool, but it distorts all the corners of each letter, is there a way to distort the word in full, just a little? Also, when I "create shape tween" the text disappears and when I "create motion tween" he needs to turn into a graph if so I can't yet use the Warp tool. What should I do?

You could try to break up once (or), then select Edit-> timeline-> distribute to layers so that each letter is on a clean diaper.  Then, you can create each individual letter as a symbol and then create tweens to animate individually using the motion tweens.  This way you don't get distortions of the letter because of the interpolation of shape and/or deformation.

  • Made final paragraphs of text distorts the text?

I have several paragraphs that I have animated and rendered using the DV model in CS4. These paragraphs have been made as avi files for use in a video NLE program: Sony Vegas Pro 8.

Before making the comps, I saw in a RAM Preview and they worked perfectly, however when you view final render, they showed the distortion as displaced paragraphs from the bottom of the screen upwards. There is no effects applied to these paragraphs, the just position of the bottom of the screen you travel at all just from the top of the screen. How can I smooth out the text as it moves?

The computer everything is about 10 seconds long; the text moves over a period of 5 seconds and then stops and the model continues another 5 seconds without action (to give enough time for the public to read). After stops in the text, it is clear (without distortion). It is only distorted as it moves upward. How smooth the text as it moves?

    Thank you.

When you have added your film to the render queue, click the output module. There, choose Quicktime as an export format and click on 'Format Option'.

In the compression type select DV - PAL or DV - NTSC depending on your location (PAL for Europe, NTSC for the Japan & US).

At the bottom of the dialog box, you have 2 options, the option in the field (interlaced or progressive) and IRON (pixels, 4:3 or 16:9 format).

In the field select Progressive option.

Then click ok and make your movie. Tell me then if you still see the distortion, but I hope you won't.

Don't forget to check the help rendered& exporting pages, a bunch of cool stuff is in there.

  • Is it possible to wrap the text in the cells of a Table Hint?

I have read the contents of an Excel file in a Table Hint and want to wrap the text in some cells.

You can do this - sort of...

LV do not wrap auto the contents of a cell automatically. However, if there are hard line breaks, you can make the LV expand the cell vertically to display all rows. It will not however, size autoutomatically width of the cell.

Sounds like it may be a good project for an XControl.
