is it possible to do lun replication two table of different types

is it possible to do replication LUNs in two different types in the table such as hp and emc.

Hello

What requirements and use cases?
If you want to replicate from storage, you can seek a third-party replication device such as EMC RecoverPoint, EMC RecoverPoint after disaster and data - EMC Protection that supports the berries EMC or other 3rd-party.

If you want to replicate (ESXi) host, you can use vSphere replication that can replicate virtual machines from one host to another host (same or different site) that allows replication between the warehouses of data hosted on a storage array.

  • Two tables with different values of basic on an analysis filter

    Hi guys,.

    Let assume that I have an analysis with columns: group_id and sales.
    On this basis I would like to create two tables: table1 where group_id = 1 and table2 where group_id = 2.

    OBIEE is able to do?

    Kind regards
    Slavi

    Hi Slavi,

    You can do it in a single analysis, but you have to have the column with group_id twice.

    Bring, group_id_1, group_id_2 (same column), sale

    Now in table 1.

    bring group_id_1, sales

    Then in the selection steps for group_id_1-> select members-> Action choose keep only-> choose the value of the filter 1

    This will filter the table 1 with group_id 1

    In table2 group_id_2 porter, sales

    Then do the same step for group_id_2 with the value 2.

    You now have two reports with different filter in the same report.

    If you want you can keep the same name column for the two columns group_id, I just kept group_id_1, group_id_2 for easy reference.

  • How to join two tables of different schemas of Oracle by using a subquery

    I'm trying to join two different schemas of Oracle tables using a subquery. I can extract data from each of the tables without problem. However, when I combine select statements it by using a subquery I get Oracle error *'ORA-00936: lack of expression ' *. Given that each SELECT statement runs on its own without error I don't understand what's missing. I'm trying to get the result set is matching the LINE_ID of PDTABLE_12_1 in the schema with the table PDTABLE_201 MAT_DESCRIPTION DD_12809 in the RA_12809 schema.

    The query is as follows:

    SQL = "SELECT [DD_12809]. [PDTABLE_12_1]. LINE_ID OF [DD_12809]. [PDTABLE_12_1] JOIN "_".
    + "(SELECT [RA_12809]. [PDTABLE_201]. MAT_DESCRIPTION "_".
    "FROM [RA_12809]. [PDTABLE_201]) AS FAB "_".
    + 'ON [DD_12809]. [PDTABLE_12_1]. PIPING_MATER_CLASS = FAB. PIPING_MATER_CLASS ".

    The format of the request is copied from a manual of programming SQL.

    I also tried running the query uses a right JOIN on the two tables, but got the same results. Any ideas would be useful. Thank you!

    The format for the join of two tables in Oracle feels like any other database:

    SELECT a.col1, a.col2, ..., b.col1, b.col2, ...
    FROM   schema1.table1 a,
           JOIN schema2.table2 b ON a.col = b.col and ...
    WHERE  a.other_col = 'FRED'
    AND    ....;

    Do not place bracketed identifiers in Oracle. The account that connects to the database must have select privileges on the two tables.

  • Replication of tables in different schemas

    Hello

    I have 2 schemas and would like to have tables (same structure), in 2 different patterns, to be in harmony.

    For example:

    sample1.table_one

    sample2.table_one

    sample1.table_one DESC is exactly the same as sample2.table_one

    I want to both sample1.table_one and sample2.table_one to be in harmony, when changes are made to one of them.

    Oracle 9i does provide a mechanism for this or is the obvious solution only with PL/SQL and triggers.

  • Can someone explain why these two paintings 'look' different even if they are from the same source?

    Hi all!

    I'm just curious, why these two tables are different and are they really different in terms of structure, even if they are from the same source? The left is the exit of tdms get properties and the other is a power of arry auto indexed.

    Nilesh-

    No doubt, you are referring to the visual aspect, since the data are the same. One of them uses a different type of indicator of the chain. You probably click right and choose 'create-> Indicator '. When you perform this LabVIEW will use the same style of indicator as what sub-VI/uses. In case you made directly from the PDM function, but the other was created between the autoindex loop tunnel for, in the second he used everything that was default in your preferences.

  • Is mapping dimension AWM - possible to load the data in two tables of entry?

    Hi all

    I have two tables ProductFamily (parent level) and products (child level).

    I want to load a dimension of those tables where the parent-child relationships are maintained (I use AWM).

    I created a map with these two entry tables, but the loaded data has no relationship.
    So, how do I do that? Is it possible to load dimensions where different levels get data from multiple tables?
    Is any type of Carpenter available in AWM?

    Thank you

    ------------------------

    A few Notes:

    -I don't want to use OWB here that my data are clean
    -In AWM, when I loaded the data in a single view that contains two tables of input data, it worked fine. But it's my worst case option.

    You must use Dimension option in snowflake in the mapping screen of size for the Product Dimension (as opposed to the default style mapping - star schema dimension).

    This will modify map entries to include a separate parent for each level of hierarchy level / that is to say, for each level of hierarchy / (unless a higher level of the hierarchy), you must specify the parent level key in addition to the key current level, code/name/description/other attributes etc.

    You can make the mapping or... use the icons at the top of the map screen.
    mode drag/drop by dragging the relational column on dimension - level/hierarchy/attribute model
    -or-
    the table expression mapping mode that gives the same effect... by dragging a column on an attribute defined in the .

    Note1: Complete the mapping of a sudden... B & w switching mapping modes cause the mappings to reset.
    NOTE2: assumes that your data are correct foreign key table parent level: ProductFamily exists in the child level table: products.

  • sqlloader to load two tables of the single data file in a single operation

    Oracle 11.2.0.3 SE - One

    Oracle Linux 5.6

  • export the schema, but for two tables, export only 20 rows

    11.2.0.2/RHEL 5.4

    Using expdp, I want to export an entire schema. But for the 2 large tables (say the EMP and DEPT tables) in this diagram, I want to export only 20 records (at random) for them. Is it possible for expdp and impdp?

    If this is not possible then, is there any option to have no any line for these 2 tables?

    Christian Christmas Pal Singh says:
    possible, but you must create two files dmp means export of run 2 times.
    1. for complete schema to exclude these 2 tables by the exclusion clause.
    2. use the query clause to filter the data in the second export for these 2 tables.

    Really? is not something that similar work? instead of rownum, if you want truly random, then use example of clause, but it should be based on the amount of sample would make 20 lines for you, then a bit of work there.

    schemas=my_schema
    QUERY=my_schema.table1:"where rownum < 21"
    QUERY=my_schema.table3:"where rownum < 21"

    I have two tables:

    Customer:

    -Integer ID (PK)
    -Name_SecondName varchar (20)
    -Char sex
    -Full scale

    Investments:

    -Integer ID (PK)
    -Whole amount
    -Interest Numeric (3.2)
    -Client_ID (FK)

    My job is to display a number of men and a few women who have at least a $ 1000 investment. I'll jump to add data to the table, my point is simply to find a correct interpretation of the SQL query. Right now I have this:

    SELECT COUNT (DISTINCT Client_ID), COUNT (DISTINCT Client_ID)
    SOME customers JOIN investments
    WE Clients.ID = Investments.Client_ID
    WHERE amount > 1000;

    Of course, it displays twice the number of clients thanks to an investment of more than $ 1000. But how do I specify that the first indictment counts men (sex = am') and second - women (sex = 'F')? Can someone help me?

    Hello

    Here's a way to do

    SELECT COUNT (DISTINCT CASE WHEN c.gender = 'M' THEN c.client_id END) AS men
    , COUNT (DISTINCT CASE WHEN c.gender = 'F' THEN c.client_id END) AS women
    FROM       clients       c
    JOIN       investments       i  ON       c.client_id  = i.client_id
    WHERE       i.amount       >= 1000
    ;

    This query will work in Oracle 8.1 or more.
    Since you have Oracle 11, you can also use the SELECT... Function pivot, but in this case, it's more complicated. That's because what to CHOOSE... PIVOT includes automatically by each column that is not involved in the pivot. (In this case, this means that all except sex and client_id columns.) Often, you do sort of a subquery to get the dynamic no cross data, so it is easy to include only the relevant columns. In this case, however, you need not any kind of subquery, so you should add a fair to exclude the additional columns if you want to use SELECT... PIVOT.

    As you say in your original post, this account of customers who have any single investment of 1000 or more. In your last post, you posted a query that looks for investments of more than 15,000. You can change the WHERE clause to say

    WHERE       i.amount       >  15000

    but which would produce 0 men and 0 women, given that all of the amounts in the sample data are 10000.

    Is it possible to display the entire word 'Genre' and not only "G"?

    Sure.

    SQL * automatically sizes string columns to their maximum size. Since between the sexes are defined as CHAR (1), its maximum size is 1 character, then SQL * Plus allocates only 1 space for her, truncate the heading after 1 character. You can explicitly set the width on anything it is large enough to show the entire title, like this:

    COLUMN  gender  FORMAT  A6

    Include this command before you run the query. Then, SQL * Plus uses 6 places to display the sex, so there will be place for all 6 characters in the heading.

  • Two sequences with different parameters?

    In the first Pro CS6, is it possible to use two sequences with different parameters?

    Yes, no problem.

    You can make as many sequences with different settings as you want.
